My Senior dog 12 year old pug, has IBD Irritable Bowel Disease, secondary to Pancreatitis. I have been giving him Fruitables Digestible Pumpkin in his food for the past three years. I use just a dollop or two. When he has a flair up I add a little bit more to his diet. He is however on Prescription Hills ID wet and dry so I mix the two then add the pumpkin. I always add a bit of water…. My little guy rarely scoots anymore, but does have to get his glands expressed every other month which is typical for the breed. I stand behind this product. Pumpkin off the shelf at the grocery may be cheaper but this is specifically developed for our four legged friends. Pumpkin on the shelf is for pies. My dog loves the taste. The shelf life is great, but after opened you have 7 days. If you won't use on a daily,you can put in ice trays with water and make pup pops. Pumpkin is healthy and extremely good for the digestive track~ Always a great treat! I find that 360 continues to carry the best price. My Cavalier King Charles has been in and out of vet visits, testing, and urgent care nearly nonstop for about 3 weeks now. He won’t eat even his favorite foods and I have to get him to eat something due to the several meds, antibiotics, and blood draws. I ordered this for my picky eater hoping to find something healthy that she would eat since she was starting to refuse the boiled chicken and still wouldn’t eat canned or dry dog food . This arrived today and was so simple to prepare and my extremely picky eater acted like a hungry hippo . She ate almost the entire serving then went to my other dogs plate and started eating his canned dog food. I couldn’t tell you the last time she ate that . Bought as collecting puppy from England that was a 5/6 hr drive for us. Had purchased the snuggle puppy and this multi pack of heat pads after hearing about ppl going on about them on social media. My family and I live in a small Northern California town, and we were just hit with a devastating fire that's decimated over 100,000 acres, and is still burning. We we're lucky and still have our home. But the night the fire started I noticed a sudden change in our beloved cat. She became extremely lethargic. She stopped eating, but was vomiting up white foam. I knew we were in real trouble when the next day while monitoring her behavior I noticed she was not drinking water! My baby Jingle is 16 and was starting to throw up nearly every day. I def know what ingredients she cannot handle in her moist food so I knew something was wrong. My cat has been having issues going to the bathroom having really small rock hard stool, to not having a bowl movement in days. I've used this product for about 6 months now as a supplement for my 13-year-old Maine Coon/Siamese mix who was diagnosed with mild IBD and pancreatitis. This has worked on both of my large breed puppies, when they have a slight stomach upset. My vet always tells me to give the pups chicken and rice when they have an upset tummy, but when you have pups that lick, sometimes try and eat everything they come across, in the house, garden and walks they would permanently be on rice and chicken. Unfortunately this product did nothing to stem the flow of ultra sloppy stools suffered by my dog. He seems to have a kind of doggy irritable bowel syndrome. Once his tum's sufficiently irritated nothing will help except 12+ hours starvation followed by a diet mainly of plain rice and bland meat and vegetables. My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. I combined this with Charlotte’s Web Hip and Joint hemp for my dog with osteoarthritis. She could barely walk for three days. After two hours of taking this she is running and playing around even in the cold weather. This medication has been prescribed to my pet until the end of his life. He has some urinary issues alone with some other problems. The same size bottle at our vet was nearly $50 and with KV Supply it is $17. Needless to say we have been customers of KV Supply for a few months now. My 10 year old cat was literally dying because she could not eat and was getting too weak to drink. She was getting palliative, hospice type care but I didn't want her to starve to death. I take care of feral cats and I Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) them in order to decrease the cat population in my neighborhood. When spaying a female cat, you have to keep them for at least 4 days for them to appropriately heal and have the affects of the anesthesia to wear off completely. One of the ferals that I trapped was a skin-and-bones female that was really too young to be having the kitten she was towing around with her. So I trapped her and her only surviving female kitten, had them both fixed and proceeded to "Fatten them up" and have them heal completely. "Under the Weather" Ready-Cal was the perfect supplement to give to both mamma and baby while they healed. I kept mamma in my care for one month because she was so pathetically thin. In that month, Mamma's coat changed from a rusty brown to a glossy black. She gained weight to where you could no longer feel her ribs poking through her fur. She did not like indoor life AT ALL and could not be socialized or handled, so she was released back to her outdoor home. I continue to feed Mamma every day, even built her an outdoor heated shelter in my fenced in yard. She is very content now. So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. We adopted a Cocker Spanial when she was 4 years old. The week after she turned 5 she started having cluster seizures. We have spent thousands of dollars bringing her to her vet for this problem. My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. I give my dog a few spoonfuls of canned pumpkin from the grocery store with every meal, so I bought these to be a more convenient travel option, but honestly I’m pretty disappointed.
