This was one of the first toys I got my pup. She’s had it for two months or so now and it only has a few teeth holes in it, but she hasn’t destroyed it. I like the little black loop on its head so I can bounce it around when playing with her. And I like the fact it has a crinkly tail and that it’s a “quiet” squeaker. This is such a cute little toy and probably would be perfect for small breeds but my 3 year old German shepherd absolutely destroyed it within an hour which is expected with big breeds so I’d suggest to get something that is made of a harder, stronger material for bigger breeds. Would definitely be perfect for small to medium breeds or even big breeds that don’t like to destroy their toys. We have two 50lb mutts, one of whom can manage to bite pieces off of solid rubber Kongs, but neither has so much as put a dent in this toy after a few solid weeks of play! The orange "Sportsmen" material feels significantly tougher than the purple (which has actually held up equally well), and has a really nice bounce that keeps the humans laughing. We haven't cut any of the "treat meter" prongs, so the small kibble we use as treats fall pretty fast out of the larger two sections, but the small one really holds onto them, which keeps the dogs interested since it always smells like food, but doesn't frustrate them with NO treat dispensing, since we refill the larger two sections daily. Though not as beloved by them as the purple squeaky toys, this one adds some nice variety, and is still one of their favorites.
