Busy Ball Dog Toy For Sale (2024 Update)

I have a variety of slow feeders and feeder puzzles for my 4 month old puppy. This one really takes her a while to eat her dinner. It's tougher than the Kong wobbler as I haven't adjusted the size of the opening so less biscuits fall out which suits both of us as it takes her longer to eat her dinner. It's quite noisy and they have used non peelable stickers which means it will take me a while to get all the labels off which is a pain. But would recommend.shortie66seller

My doggo loves this and keeps coming back to it. It keeps her busy, entertained, and intellectually stimulated so I think it is a winner. Perhaps the little spikes that regulate the number of kibbles could be replaceable and come with a difficult and easy setting – if you cut them now, they become easy with no way to go back to difficult. That would male it 10 out of 5, but as it is, it is brilliant and I will get it gain if I ever need to. So far, it seems very strong and robust, so I don't anticipate getting a new one any time soon.Janis

Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. The dog has learned to propel the ball with his feet like in soccer ,all the while barking with every gobble – giggle noise the ball makes when rolled along.Dog seems to like it .Thanks!Elf CAS

I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us

My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. I got home, gave it to her (8 month old lab mix puppy) and she took it and had it chewed apart in about 30 minutes. They must have gotten cheap and changed material. NOT HAPPY!!BBB Customer

Sending this back. Was excited to see my dog play with this. I knew by reading some reviews that I would need to teach her how to drop the balls in the machine. It work great for the first few minutes , then it stopped working. I unplugged it and waited thinking maybe it needed to reset but no. So I waited the next morning, tried it again and it worked but after a few minutes stopped again. So I’m returning it. But hope to find another type maybe just a gravity flow one.edty

I think the our little dog is training my partner. They are both having lots of fun. She is no longer bored and is so much fitter and happier. The deal at the moment is she will drop the ball for him to put in the machine, she wants him involved. The noise build up before firing is so exciting for her and she has it down to the millisecond. Bought this for my too poodle and he absolutely loves it. Hours of fun and exercise, just drop the ball in the top and it launches it and off he goes. Trying to train him to drop the ball in himself. My dog loves this. I put about 2 cups of large dog kibble in the large toy. Takes him about 30 min to eat it all. But needs a river gasket pr a change in screw on design as he often unscrew it quickly if not frightened while playing. Also it os hard on furniture as it os a hard plastic and the purple bumpers are not rubber more like soft plastic and either need to be larger or softer . otherwise it often causes lots of banging on furniture. I love the basic design concept especially the egg shape and the rubber prongs holding the food in. The shape makes him have to move it more so the food cant just pour out. Also because some kibble is smaller it would be good to add more prongs that customers could snipe away to allow larger kibble through but of not small kibble will be contained longer. Over all I would love never and improved versions, a product I will buy repeatedly for years if worth itCorvus 4

We received this toy as a Christmas gift for our dog and the first thing that caught out attention was the baby powder type smell coming from the toy. We tried washing the toy but the smell is embedded in the rubber and won't come out. The smell lingers throughout the house and I cannot understand why PetSafe feels it is necessary to put this smell in a toy for an animal that has the ability to smell 10,000 times better than humans. What is the point? Shouldn't the dog be concerned with smelling the treat inside the toy? It does nothing for the dog or the humans around it. Like a bad perfume, this toy will not be allows to smell up our house. Make a product that has a function for the dog and leave the smell out.2 Smelly 4 Me

First one ordered arrived defective. Second one arrived and my dig had it apart in 5 minutes. I could tell when I put treats on that it wouldn’t screw tightly enough so it’s a design issue.Frustrated in DC

The first time I loaded treats in it, our dog dropped on the floor and the end broke of so cannot use. This is the third one, different designs and we love them.skif

With new balls, and a new machine, the product is exactly as advertised. After 10 minutes of fetch, the ball is too wet to throw as expected. The ball gets dirty, and the machine does too, creating a muddy internal process. The balls sent with the machine were subpar quality, and lasted about 25 throws a piece before they were starting to come apart. The machine doesn't adjust for ball sizes, so as a tennis ball wears down, the machine can't grab it, and forget about a tennis ball without it's hairy skin, they are too small by far. It's charging good, and working well if I keep putting new tennis balls in it, and run a towel through it, (although that's hard to do.) I suggest a manual adjustment be added to future products, to change the distance between the wheels that grab the ball. I think a tiny tweak on my machine would allow it to through hard rubber balls that wouldn't get nearly as dirty or wet, and keep the machine cleaner. Overall, I think the product is good, but is flawed in design. If there were just a few more capacities to make it work in the field and with different ball sizes, I think it's be a very strong product.Adam T.

There are two things our dog loves: playing and balls. And he was so surprised to see that his Wicked Ball SE was asking to play with him! So now, every time we give him the ball, it’s a delight to see him so happy and having a good time. He already had a standard Wicked Ball, but it was too heavy and big for his size (Welsh Corgi), now he can easily hold the Wicked Ball SE in his mouth and carry it around the house! One thing to keep in mind, as our dog likes to tear things apart, he sometimes manages to get the motor part to rotate inside the rubber outer shell, so, as the user manual states, we always keep an distant eye on him when he plays, and when he does get the motor to rotate, it’s fairly easy to get it back in its spot. We’re so happy to see our dog enjoy his new ball so much, so kudos to Cheerble to have come up with a new version of this product, it really is suited to smaller dogs 😉Charles

We already had an old cheerble but my dog destroyed it pretty quickly with his strong jaw. We weren't able to open it anymore to charge it so it didn't last long. The new SE model is way better for my basset hound. The size is more convenient for him, he loves chasing it and throwing it away, that's really fun to watch. Usually, he's not much of a player but this one keep him busy for a while. The material seems stronger as he hasn't broke it already (even though he manage to turn the inside somehow so not sure how it will age). We'll see how long it last this time. My miniature dachshund loved the ball, but as he does with all balls, he's not interested in chasing or letting it roll around. He pins it down and likes to chew on it- he absolutely adores rubber. He likes to try and pick at bits that give purchase and whilst the ball itself only received surface dents from his teeth, he actually succeeded in spinning the plastic around inside the rubber… How, I'm not sure, but it's now an egg with a gap where the plastic normally fills. Maybe I can try and re-spin it to make it usable again, but unfortunately as much as he loves it, it's not something I can leave him alone with. Heavily dependant on your dog's breed and fixation patterns. Alas, not suitable for mine, I think. Great product and a great idea otherwise, but I'd be interested to hear which dogs just let it roll around!John S.

My beagle puppy loves this. You can open the hole more or less depending on the size of the treats you are using. Only trouble is he chews it and eventually makes a hole in it so this is the second one I have bought him.linda246linda

I have a lab/pit mix who is insanely high energy and cannot be away from his humans when we’re home. Any toy I bought that was plush, ropes or hard plastic “indestructible” were ruined within the seconds-days. I bought this on a whim when he was getting groomed because his hard plastic “indestructible” toys were ruining my furniture. When I tell you I didn’t hear from my dog for HOURS I am not kidding. He absolutely loves this thing, he’ll even sleep with it. The downside is that the biscuits inside only last 48 hours tops, but they’re fairly cheap and the rubber is really durable for our hard chewer. The everlasting treat in this thing seems to live up to the name. It's been several weeks since we got it and my puppy plays with it every day. We sometimes fill it with the interactive treats (which took him a while to get used to) that are designed for this ball, but the treat that came with the ball keeps him interested for longer than almost anything else he has. The texture of the rubber is great for a puppy, and durable enough that he hasn't put a mark in it after nearly a month of use. I could see a tougher dog tearing it to pieces though.Lock Jaw

I actually got the 8" one I believe. I had an old one that was 14" and it was great. I wanted a smaller one for my puppy, but it is very light weight and does not dribble well. I suppose it will hold up, but it is not made as well as my old one. It could even be a different company. I have had my big one for about 15 years. The old one could get run over by a tractor and not break.. Can't say that for the 8" one.TERRI

My puppy gets bored of toys easily but he plays with this every single day, keeps him completely occupied for a good while! It's good quality the gage inside stays in the position you put it in for the difficulty level you want your dog at. I have two of these balls, one in each size. For my 60 lbs. pit bulls I would recommend the larger, unless you're using a high reward treat (like jerky as opposed to kibble). I serve at least some of my dog's meals in a ball and he chases it around for quite a while. The only downside is it is pretty noisy on the hardwood floors or tile. Also be sure nothing too fragile might get in the way. He accidentally broke a vase that he ran into while chasing the ball across the living room. It's probably my dog's favorite solo activity. Would definitely recommend to any food motivated dog.2pitmama

Our Chihauhua gets bored when we're gone during the day, and when he gets bored, he eats carpet. We had a few food toys, and they worked great, but he was getting bored with them and he had figured out all of them, so we purchased two more to help keep him busy. We purchased the medium IQ ball, and he LOVES it. We have carpeting, and the first day we played with it with him when we were home and he caught on very quickly. We have to put his dog food, and small treats in there for him. If we place just the regular food, he isn't interested. We crumble up a few treats, and he loves to roll the ball and "gamble" to get a yummy treat. When we go to leave the house he just sits and waits for us to put this toy down, and he is playing with it before we even close the door. Our chihuahua had figured out his old toys, so we purchased this one because we thought it was a puzzle inside which can be made harder. The opening can be set to harder or easier, but there isn't a puzzle inside like the other toy we purchased.There are two holes for the food to travel through. The first hole is settable in size, and brings the food into that clear colored area where they have to then push it out a second, non-size changeable hole. That said, he still loved it and since the first hole can be made smaller, it's still challenging enough for him. It's working great and we aren't even on the hardest setting yet after two months. Our Chihuahua is 10lbs lean, so it's great for a dog his size. I would have given this product a 5 star if I had known there wasn't a puzzle when I purchased it. My blue heeler loves this toy because it is just the right size for him. It’s not too easy to get the treats out so it keeps him entertained for 20-30 minutes instead of frustrating him. He loves to drop it and bounce it and see what goodies come out.Boomer’s Mom

I thought that the 3 balls shared a single interior section, but they're in fact 3 separate sections with a thick lining separating them. The large version does NOT hold 2/3 of a cup of kibble & the small does NOT hold 1/4 cup of kibble. Filling all 3 sections of the toy, I was only able to put about 2/3 of each dog's meal in the toy and then had to refill with the remaining 1/3 of their meal once they emptied the toy. This is disappointing as these are not large portions & from the exterior, it would appear that the large would easily hold at least 2/3 of a cup of kibble, but it does not.I will keep using it & just have to refill with the remainder of my dogs' meals when they empty the first load, but having a single interior chamber, or at least a far thinner interior chamber would be better. Or at least update the description to tell the buyer exactly how much the whole toy holds when all 3 sections are full so we know if it's big enough for our needs.DogPro

My aussie, Tipper, loves this. I stuff it with Charlee Bear treats and she goes to town rolling and shaking it. When I leave her home, I fill it and go away knowing she'll have something fun to do. This ball came and looked like a plastic hard ball from the dollar store. Very disappointed. It's not a dog toy material. Our dog roughed up and chewed the outside in 15 minutes. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. Durability: 4/10, the plastic is hard but it still seems to indent fairly easily and will probably not last more than 6 months and my dog is not a vigorous chewer. Feeding mechanism: 6/10, it is great in that it rolls really easily across the floor, hardwood or carpet, and is easy for the dog to pick up and push around, but if the treats are kibble size they fall out really easily. I put milkbones in with dog food to make the small pieces fall out less easily. The volume is decent, it holds about 1 1/4 C dog food total, I have a large breed dog and it doesn't hold his entire breakfast. I use the toy to distract him when I leave for work in the morning. Mechanics: 9/10 easy to use, the food containing piece twists apart very easily and has not cracked or had any issues, seems durable. Overall – better than most treat-dispensing toys.ChevyG

I brought three of these.–one for my older girl, and one for the two puppies. They are all bullmastiffs. The puppies were about thee months old when these were purchased. I filled them with broken in half milk bone flavor treats. They had them in the back yard. The babies didn't quite get the idea, but my older girl pretty much emptied hers. It rained overnight, and the combination of rain and saliva made the treats inside soggy. It was hard, couldn't even get them open, because they were pretty much chewed shut. I did get the bones out of the drop holes (gross!). Getting the residue of the saliva was tough through the side holes. The soft cage part also really holds onto dirt, and needed to be scrubbed to clean it. Probably won't use again outside.Katerwal

This is the best entertainment for Our dog Hunter. My husband cuts sweet potato treats to put in the ball and Hunter plays hard to get the treats out. We don?t know why he does it but he tosses his ball on his bed and then pulls and pushes his bed with the ball holding the treats until he gets tired of playing that way, then pushes the ball around until he gets all treats out of the ball. Both my cats and dogs enjoy the Kong Rewards treat/food balls. I put a small amount of treat/food in them and they are entertained until all of it is gone. They are great for pets that eat too fast because the food or treats come out in small amounts. The Kong Reward balls are not noisy and do not mark up the baseboards or walls.Diane
