Very well made interactive puppy that makes various noises & actions. My Mum loves Cheeky, as do the other residents in her care home. Cheeky creates interest wherever she goes, she is spoken to so much and she obliges by woofing back. My Mum kindly lends Cheeky to her friend Ethel when shes feeling very distressed & needs to leave to go home to look after her parents. My mother has dementia. She had a dog before needing full time care in a special home. She kept asking to have a dog but it wasn't practical or permitted in the facility. I got her the Joy For All puppy. It makes her smile. She talks to it and pets it. She named it "Noodles". My only complaint is that it is heavy for her weak arms and hands and the large, hard interior mechanism takes away from the realistic feel.lauriehay

Veda loves this toy! Didn't take her long to figure out how to get the pineapple pieces out. She walked around with them in her mouth for days! She loves the crinkle noise of the Pineapple itself (especially at bedtime 😕😆)Erica

Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. The dog has learned to propel the ball with his feet like in soccer ,all the while barking with every gobble – giggle noise the ball makes when rolled along.Dog seems to like it .Thanks!Elf CAS

I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us

My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. I got home, gave it to her (8 month old lab mix puppy) and she took it and had it chewed apart in about 30 minutes. They must have gotten cheap and changed material. NOT HAPPY!!BBB Customer

Sending this back. Was excited to see my dog play with this. I knew by reading some reviews that I would need to teach her how to drop the balls in the machine. It work great for the first few minutes , then it stopped working. I unplugged it and waited thinking maybe it needed to reset but no. So I waited the next morning, tried it again and it worked but after a few minutes stopped again. So I’m returning it. But hope to find another type maybe just a gravity flow one.edty

I think the our little dog is training my partner. They are both having lots of fun. She is no longer bored and is so much fitter and happier. The deal at the moment is she will drop the ball for him to put in the machine, she wants him involved. The noise build up before firing is so exciting for her and she has it down to the millisecond. I know she will master it as she does sometimes, but it is more about them both playing that she loves the most.archibaldtheyounger

Bought this for my too poodle and he absolutely loves it. Hours of fun and exercise, just drop the ball in the top and it launches it and off he goes. Trying to train him to drop the ball in himself. I wanted to really love this toy. It's actually the second time I bought it…but only out of desperation because it lasted longer than all the other toys my dog has destroyed. I don't have a big dog but he's a determined chewer and can destroy ANYTHING but a Kong. He's a 1 yr old lab/maybe husky/maybe retriever/viszla mix (we think). He LOVED LOVED LOVED this toy but chewed the rope off straight out of the gate. He used that weakness to find a spot to tear in the fabric and reveal the rubber and it was over from there. To be fair if you're using this the right way (for fetch instead of it ending up as a chew toy) it will likely last much, much longer. It's nice and light and throws well and was well-liked by my pup.G.i.t.P.

A friend of ours got out dog just the bumper part of this combo and it has been huge it. It received serious work every day at the beach, and as you can see from my photos even had some group play with several other big dogs. Seemed reasonably durable. It was the favored water toy this trip and we will be getting another if and when this on expires.TN Doodle Dad

I have a German shepherd who loves the pool. We live in a desert, so it's a great way to keep him active in the summer. Previously, I would use the orange Chuckit! balls for pool play because they are very durable and they're his absolute favorite, but he would have to bob a lot to grasp them which left him snorting up a lot of chlorine water. I found this product and felt it would be much easier for him to snag from the water. After two hours of play it held up pretty well. But I am worried it won't last long. He loved it, and had a blast fetching it over and over but he clamps down pretty hard when grabbing it. With his large teeth and strong bite, it made a lot of popping sounds as he would swim it back to the steps and readjust his hold on it. He punctured it quite a bit, but it hasn't fallen apart yet. Some of the stitching is coming undone on the blue ends and they are very weak. It may last longer if you can sew. When he gets it out of the water he does squeeze it as if trying to squeak it, but he's good at stopping when I tell him to. It probably wouldn't last an hour if I let him chew it and he's not even one to destroy toys. There's only been a few toys that have broken from him playing and it's almost always because his teeth puncture it and the stuffing starts falling out. Once this happens our golden retriever will take it and rip it to pieces. This one he is not allowed to have without supervision and only in the pool because it definitely won't last. Our golden actually hates the water, so we don't have to worry about her tearing it up. If you have a dog with a strong bite, or one that loves to chew, I'm not confident this will hold up very well. But I still really like it and it makes a great water toy. It's bright, and floats well. It was easy for my shepherd to grab onto without losing it. He loved it and wasn't very happy I took it from him when we headed back inside. If this one falls apart too soon, I may have to find a more durable pool toy. My camera was dead, but I managed to get some pictures from my phone. I included some photos after coming back inside showing the punctures and the broken stitching on one end after 2 hours of play and limited chewing. The damage was mostly from him just grabbing it from the water as I did not let him chew it outside the water for very long. Update 5/22 – added some photos after about 6 more hours of use. It fell apart around the tag and the inside ended up slipping right out. My shepherd ended up still fetching just the inside. I'm sad that it fell apart so quickly and will have to find something that won't unravel with such a short time of play.F.N.

Bailey loves this new interactive toy! She sees it and gets very excited. She has figured out how to open all the door, but it's not so easy that it doesn't make her work a little for them. This is even better than her bong ball. This really stimulates her senses. Thanks for a great toy. BTW, Bailey will be 12 in November and we just got this for her. Exercising a dog's brain is as important as physical exercise for a happy, healthy pet. The 'Trixie Dog Puppy Training Reward Interactive Game Toy' is a really good product to stimulate brain activity as it has three different methods of concealing treats and so requires the dog to tryout different approaches to opening the the chambers. It is well made and the rubber base prevents the unit from sliding around on the floor. I bought it to use with our adult Toy Poodle cross Dachshunds. They love it. Hello, my dog does like this; loves it in fact and gets all excited when I get it ready for her before going to work. It is sturdy, well made. The rubber underneath means it grips on a lino floor which is a really good design feature. I do think it's a little pricey – 10 would be reasonable in my view. However for me the problem is it's too easy for my dog. When I first got it, I filled it with treats and gave it to my dog before sitting down to read the instructions. I hadn't even reached the bit that said to' start off with only one hidden treat, and let your dog see it before covering it up' , before my dog had already uncovered and worked out every single hiding place. Took about a minute. Not really what I was intending when I bought it as a way for her to stay entertained when I go out to work. So if your dog is a bit slow on the uptake, then I'd say this is the perfect gift for them. Otherwise, search for something more challenging.tizoc37

My dog loved this toy until a hole formed in it. We had it for about 2 weeks. He used to curl up and sleep on it too. I would definitely get another if they were more durable. At least he had fun while it lasted.Sprocket’s m.

My dog Ellie loves these. We play with them day and night. She loves these frisbees so much that over the past several years, we have probably purchased over 50 of them. The only negative is that the stitching comes undone after a few weeks with just normal toss & play.M Deering

My pup is absolutely crazy about fetch so I'm always looking for good durable toys. This is by far the best dog frisbee I've purchased so far, it still gets torn up eventually but lasts for about a month which is longer than any other. The best thing is that it's soft so it didn't hurt her mouth when she leaps up to catch it and it's durable enough to where it maintains its form and can still fly smoothly even after it's pretty beat up. Wish it didn't get to gross and slimy to touch when playing with it but I suppose that's inevitable. It would be perfect if there were some thrower where I didn't have to touch it.Gspaq12

This toy is a good size for our chihuahua that thinks she is a big dog. It is soft enough that she can get her little mouth around it to play fetch or tug, while we can also hold on to an end. I've thrown it in the laundry several times and so far it's held up well.Sasha H

I bought this for my new rescue dog as she is very timid. When we first had gotten her, we took her to the vet and had xrays taken of her stomach as she had hard green plastic in her pooh. The xrays also showed she had two very pointy screws in her stomach, so then I realized she likes to chew. The first night with the Huggie Pup was great; however, I noticed in the morning she had opened the back Velcro strip where the heart-beat box was located. The second night, I heard the Velcro being opened again, and knowing she's a chewer, I got up and removed the heart-box. I got up the next morning and looked at the Huggie Pup, the pocket was wide open and pulled out. If I had not take the heart-box out the night before she would have chewed the box to pieces (which has 3-screws) and eaten the batteries! If your pup/dog is a chewer; I would NOT recommend this Huggie Pup!Ramona

My 2 year old rescue dog suffers from many fears and anxiety, particularly separation anxiety. Initially when I received the HuggiePup, I was excited to try it. It is very cute, easy to use and enticing to my dog. Unfortunately, I found the quality and durability to be a disappointment. My dog was easily able to rip it in a matter of hours. Perhaps it would be a better product if made to withstand chewing and biting with improved construction and stronger materials.PE321
