My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I reluctantly decided to try this, but we were in the middle of allergy season, and watching her suffer is just too much. Fast forward to July 2019, and my order came in the mail. My poodle has a lot of ear hair that needs to be cleaned often. In between baths, the smell can get kinda funky. Used this ear rinse to see if it would help and it does. It keeps the waxy smell away longer but it's not mask any existing smells. It's easy enough to use and my dog doesn't seem to mind it too much. I would definitely keep using this product since it keeps the freshness in between baths and if it helps prevent ear infections. My 9 yr 8# Lil Miss, a Shih Tzu rescue that was severely neglected suffers from chronic skin and ear bacterial/yeast infection. I bought the product a couple weeks ago because my dog was prescribe this due to an ear infection. Before applying the product I had the vet do and ear flush just so that when I applied the medicine it would be on a clean as possible ear. My poor baby's ear was red and swollen and I could see crusty stuff starting to come out I applied as directed on package and by the next day there was a definite difference his redness was down to a pink color and the swelling was down even tho per vet instructions it said to apply once a day for 10 days I did not feel the need to complete the 10 day dosage because by the 3rd application his ear was back to normal. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. My dog had a spider bite on his neck and he kept scratching at it until it got bloody and infected and some of his hair fell off on in the same area. I purchased this product and applied it on the area that evening, and applied it again the following evening. The following morning I checked the area to apply some more and saw that the area looked clean. My dog stopped scratching at it and just about healed. My dog’s paw was inflamed and seemed like he had an infection going on. This was the perfect tool to use on my boy before I could take him to the vet’s office the next day. It is a topical cream that you can apply to the wounded area. It didn’t make my pup feel discomfort or make him go crazy. It’s an amazing product because it is an antibacterial and it helps fasten your pets recovery rate as if you were to leave the wound untouched. It did help clean it up a bit but did not entirely get rid of the infection. The vet did tell me that this was a great product to use for first aid. For first time pet parents I advise you to not wrap up the infection and just let it air out with a cone around your pups head. For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. My cat is only 2 and a half and he has been suffering from urinary tract infections/crystals for the past year, which is not as common for male cats. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. She continued to be a very picky eater – I put eight Live Gold drops on bread, then wrapped the bread in thinly sliced rare beef and was able to get her to take it 2x a day, along with the mushrooms in capsule form. Another company that hides subscriptions in the fine print and then makes it near impossible to cancel.
Who knows if their products actually work? I was willing to give them a shot until I realized they gave me a subscription I didn’t ask for, then make it as hard as possible to cancel, and of course you can’t cancel that last “order already processing” … I don’t even live at that address anymore.
It’s a shame that companies can no longer rise or fall based on the value of their products. It’s all about scamming people to bleed them of multiple “subscription” payments before it’s realized you’re still paying for a product you were willing to try out.
