This product works great for my dog. She’s coonhound and beagle mix. When I first brought her home she shed something awful! HAIR WAS EVERYWHERE! I was at my wits end and so ready to rehome her due to the excess shedding. I stayed up all nite and googled and came across this product! She really loved the taste of it in the beginning, but now not so much, so I give her 1-2 tablespoons a day. I’m definitely keeping her on this for a while. It’s much more convenient than having to melt coconut oil and applying it on her food. The pro: it definitely works! Plus Petco does price match in store with online! The con: Can be a bit pricey, as You have to buy 2 or more bottles before you see results. And your pet may not like it! I suggest holding on to the receipt, as I bought one for a friend and their pet didn’t care for it. The instructions say to double the dose for the first 30 days depending on the weight of your pet. Cookie weighs about 25lbs. For the first 30days I had to give her 4 tablespoons a day sprinkled and mixed in her food. 2tblsp in the a.m and 2tblsp in the p.m. from the 16oz bottle so I ran out of the fish oil in less than a week. My wife and I went in to grab this and ended up talking to a representative in the grooming who missed lead us and gave us false information and we ended up paying $150 for a de shed Bath. My Great Pyrenees has been suffering from chronic reoccuring staph infection due to food allergies for almost 2 yrs. My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. I was giving Katy on chew a day, and 3 or 4 days into it, she began to get weird about her food. Same diet as always, and she's never stopped eating before, so I stopped giving her the chews and a few days later her appetite began improving. There's no way for me to know if the 360 calming chews were to blame, but out of basic caution i stopped giving them to her altogether. Love this extra little touch for my fur babies. One older boy has allergy problem which caused him to itch often. Nothing like hot spots, but I can tell it’s bothersome. I was skeptical about this at first because I’ve tried many other skin supplements, some worked but the only struggle is to get him to eat the treat. I'm a big fan of medicinal mushrooms and know that they work well. However, they are also very powerful and not w/o danger or side effects. Considered how common feline hyperthyroidism is, people should be aware that some medicinal mushrooms contained in here, stimulate the endocrine system. My elderly cat stopped responding to his anti-thyroid meds, with thyroid hormone rising contstantly. I sent an email to Bixbi (the maker of these products) inquiring about the thyroid and Maitake's and Shiitake's endocrine stimulating qualities. Bixbi stated that they do NOT recommend the Superfood products for my cat with Hyperthyroidism. I'm still giving this product 5 stars, because it works and does what it's supposed to do … it's just not for everyone. Purchased this product along with BSST to help our 7-year-old Golden mix build up her immunity to hopefully fight off any more mast cell tumors. While reading other recommendations, I discovered that it is good for older pets, as well, who may need their immunity bolstered simply because of age. So, we began giving it to our nearly 12-year-old Malamute. I have noticed a definite difference in both dogs! They are much more alert, and they look and act like they feel better. Will have to wait to see about helping with the mast cell tumors, but hopefully we'll see good results. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. My dog regularly gets takes supplements, and while he didn't immediately turn his nose up at these, he wasn't super excited about them either. I think to him they seem more like medicines than a treat, and everyone who has a dog knows that you need to make things seem like a treat to dogs. If they think it's medicine, they won't eat it. He licked it a few times, attempted to chew, and in the end it was gone, but it wasn't immediate. Cons: There's room for improvement. It has a hard consistency – I think chewy would have gone over better. I also wish that the pills were sold based on size rather than one tub of supplements for dogs of all sizes. It has 90 tablets, and that's a 90 day supply for a small dog, but medium dogs take two tablets which means its a 45 day supply for us. It's even less for large dogs. Pros: I appreciate that it's an all-in-one supplement, because the less things I have to buy, the better. I also like that it has clinical support to back up the product's claims. I am so happy that I was able to try the All-In Dog Supplement for my older dog (6 year old Shiba Inu). Shiba's are known to develop hip dysplasia later in life, so I've started to look around to see if I can incorporate some more vitamins or other foods into his diet. I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. Purchased this when my dog started wetting the bed at night. Noticed she wouldn't wake up to be put out but in the morning her bed would be wet. I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. Then I noticed it would take her several tries when she would go out to empty her bladder so I expected that the inability to empty her bladder was symptomatic of a UTI. When looking for something to help before another trip to the vet I saw that these bladder bites had high ratings and gave them a try and they worked great, all of her issues even the exited leaking stopped. One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. She seems much more comfortable after her baths and I love how clean it gets all my dogs. Its very easy to lather up and it rinses clean. The smell is great if youre into fruity…if you dont like fruity itd be best to skip this one. I think this would be a great shampoo for any coat type…I use it on a rat terrier, a mini poodle, and a Great Pyrenees.L.
Good dog shampoo is really hard to find but I really like this one. It is a little bit pricey but the bottle is a good size. The only way I would improve this product is making it a little cheaper or affordable. But the packaging is super cute and I will still pay for it because it’s such a great quality productkatherine.v
My dogs and I love this very much. I love the whole line, but lately, my dog has been suffering from allergies, so I switched to this one. It smells amazing, which I love, but more importantly, it's definitely helping with her skin irritations from her allergies. She doesn't scratch even half as much as before. Before I switched, she would scratch so hard, her belly was covered in scratched, bite marks from chewing, and sometimes it was so bad she bled. Now, she has a clear tummy, because she doesn't have the urge to scratch. This was a lifesaver. Used it on my German Shepherd Dog who is going through the shedding stage now. I normally don't bath her but three times per year, being she is a healthy female she doesn't have hardly any odor except if she gets wet. Then for some strange reason she smells like a dog. However, I had just bathe her with another shampoo two weeks prior to using DermAllay and it left her coat and skin looking dry and she had what looked like dandruff for the first time ever.
