This works FABULOUS for my American Bulldog. So softening for him. Lathers up great and rinses off well too. Smell is wonderful. I use the spray for the home as well. Use it in my car too. Don’t like when Walmart ships it. Because of the lack of packing skills I always loose some shampoo because it leaks out. Only one time a store packed it well.tricia

My dog has never had fleas in the 7 years I've had him…all of a sudden he had little buggers all over him. Tried this product because it said maximum strength. Nope…creepy crawlies still on him. The fleas are annoying my baby. With corona virus, getting to her vet for prescription medication is not an option right now, so I was looking for a very strong AND safe/gentle shampoo to help ease her suffering. This product fills the bill. It smells herb-y and fresh, really delightful. Best part, fleas were gone. After racing through the house, drying off…she fell into a peaceful long nap. I have used the collars on my 4 cats after using your all in one flea remedy, I am constantly washing or treating bedding and carpets, have put out flea traps and diatomaceous earth, and have sprayed outside with nematodes that eat fleas…..I have also closed off the outside cat enclosure until the fleas are gone…..even though the traps are now catching very few fleas, the cats are still infested and are miserable. I comb them constantly for fleas, so I still see adults and new fleas, so I can see that the all in one flea remedy is not working…..things seem worse on the cats than before I started. I have just resorted to ordering Seresto collars which I did not want to do, because of toxicity, but I don't have a choice at this stage. I will have to feed them zeolite to help with toxins until the fleas are gone and then I will remove the collars for winter. Can I return the products for a refund? I really wish they had worked for me and my cats, but I am exhausted and my cats are stressed and miserable. please advise…. Thank you, Debra JavensDebra J.

So, this stuff is basically diatomaceous earth in a fancier bottle and with some rosemary and lemon scent, priced WAY above what some plain DE would cost you at the hardware store. (You can get a 5lb bag for the cost of one canister of this). However, I purchased it knowing that, but because I needed to buy something else to get free shipping and I needed DE anyway. The point is, it WORKS. And, the canister this stuff comes in, coupled with the pleasant smell, does make it much easier to use than say the 5lb bag of DE at the hardware store would be. I purchased this along with Herbal Defense Spray and Herbal Defense Shampoo & Conditioner from All Natural Pet, and I've been very happy with the results. About three months or so ago, I was dealing with a mild flea problem that just would not away. It wasn't a severe problem, yet, but I obviously needed to nip it in the bud before it became one. It was to the point where I would find a flea or two on the dog every time I checked. I tried the nasty chemical spot-ons, and not only did they NOT work at ALL, they made our poor Jack Russell Terrier so sick I actually had to rush her to the emergency vet one night because she wouldn't stop throwing up! I didn't realize immediately that the spot-on flea treatments were to blame, and the vet couldn't figure out what was going on, either. But when I put the monthly treatment on her for the second month and she got sick again, it was obvious what was going on. The culprit that time was BioSpot, but I submit to you that all of those chemical spot-ons — Frontline, Advantage, etc. etc. — are all the same. Please, PLEASE, don't put those on your dog. There is a happy ending here. Because the chemical stuff a) wasn't working b) was really expensive and c) made my dog really sick (!!), I decided to give All Natural Pet's products a try, and I've truly been converted. We've been happily flea-free since I started on the All Natural Pet regimen, for a fraction of the cost. I know this because I zealously go over the dog with a fine-toothed comb — literally, it's one of those flea combs — every morning, and haven't found a single one of the little buggers since about a week after starting the natural flea regimen. When I first got this, I put the powder on her, her bed and the carpet in the living room in our bedroom, where she spends the most time, and vacuumed every inch of the house. I washed her with the shampoo and conditoner and sprayed the spray on her several times a week. Since the fleas have disappeared, I use the powder now about every two weeks, the day before I plan on giving her a bath. I spray her maybe once a week. I vacuum at least once a week, but that's also to keep dog hair under control. It's a pretty relaxed regimen but it's definitely working. After purchasing at Walmart Smyrna, TN, we used the flea and tick shampoo on our 8 month old golden retriever. Upon ending his bath we noticed he was bleeding and we rushed him to the animal hospital. Upon arriving we learned these products fully BURNED our puppies skin. I am disgusted by their tag line “powerful products you’ll recognize” — your products are so powerful you singed my poor dog. Now after a heafty vet bill our dog is under care for the next two weeks and we are left hoping he heals safely. DO NOT BUY!Barbara

This shampoo works pretty well. It washed away the fleas. It's for the sake of killing fleas not necessarily repelling them. If you like natural treatments using lavender oil as preventative measure can help with that. We got a very young pup infested with fleas and the fleas left sores on the poor pup. After a wash of this you could already tell the sores were looking much better and the fleas were falling off. I wish I took before and after photos of the dog. It cleaned the pup up pretty well and smells good too. We also got the flea drops so doing that tomorrow.sarah.b

I like this product. It works very well when sprayed directly on infected areas , i.e; carpets and bedding. Most Walmart stores don't carry this product where I live. I found it by chance at a store I had never shopped at and decided to try it out. I couldn't find it again when I wanted to get more so I looked it up on line and then decided to order 4 more bottles from Walmart on line. A partial order (one bottle) took a week and a half to get to the store closer to where I live and it had leaked out half its contents. A refund was given. Never heard about the other bottles but will check my bank statement to see if it I was charged for it. I still like this product but will have to drive out of my way to pick it up at the other Walmart in another city. It has a pleasant smell, is all natural and comes in powder, shampoo, and spray form. I have tried the shampoo and spray and purchased to powder too. I am using the shampoo directly on my cats and spraying the floors, rugs and bedding with the spray. I have not tried the powder as of yet. So far, we are winning the war on fleas!catsmom

I had been struggling with a slight flea problem with my dog who is routinely treated with K9 ADVANTAGE II topical flea protection. After a vacation we came home with some fleas and my dog was scratching himself crazy. Topical meds were obviously not working. I tried vinegar and palmolive baths (with essence oils) there werent a lot of fleas but only a few are too many. Vaccuming and household sprays were not eliminating the tiny fleas i saw. I finally decided a medicated ‘dip’ was what i needed…found this shampoo at Walmarts and noticed it had a higher % of pyrethrins than anything else so i gave it a try. I followed the directions,used rubber gloves, lathered up good and let it sit about 7-8 minutes. I saw a few fleas wash off with the rinse….hours later my dog is sleeping peacefully and i cannot find even 1 flea no matter how hard i try. I love this shampoo! I have been battling fleas on my inside/ outside dog and 2 indoor cats. I have had little to no results with just about everything. I did my research and bought this shampoo based on reviews and that I could use it in both the dog and the cats. Both cats are older and I’m scared of the topical monthly flea meds. This seemed like a more harmless option. The first cat seems to have done well. My second cat started foaming at the mouth and drooling heavily. I immediately rinsed her and wrapped her in a towel. She seems to be recovering okay. I’m watching her closely. There were very few negative reviews but I just wanted to post my experience with it. And I’m all fairness it may very well be that she was so stressed by the bath that it was a stress reaction. I’m not sure. Just be aware and watch your pets closely for any signs of stress.Pamela

It does have a runny consistency, as some reviews have noted. However, this formula smells good and has worked wonders for my dachshund. I lathered him up and saw the fleas jump off in the tub. I watched fleas run down the drain. Then I used a flea comb while he was still wet. The two fleas I found in the comb were dead. My dachshund has sensitive skin and this shampoo didnt irritate him at all. I could tell he felt much better. He was even licking the top of my foot in the tub and he never does that during a bath. Seems to work rather well. Used to use a brand from the vet for years and they recently changed the formula and it no longer worked the same, it also had horrible effects on the entire family fur babies included! We had a terrible outbreak of fleas this last spring and had to purchase something locally and very urgently so in a way you could say we where forced into “settling” for this product along with the hartz home spray. We where very pleasantly surprised that this product worked nearly instantly to rid our poor fur babies of all the dreadful little buggers that had been making life miserable. We all have extremely sensitive skin in our household and this product offered nothing but relief to the entire home. Did not prevent ticks. Made my pup shed an insane amount. Needed to go to vet to get my 6 month old dog weighed to see how much he went up in size for flea and tick medication after finding one on him, we decided to get him this product while we waited to see the vet- after shampooing with this product and ensuring he was tick free, a new one appeared the day after his bath very alive and not affected by the shampoo used or repelled by it. Thankfully was able to get into the vet to have him weighed and get him his medication but this does not do as advertised as far as ticks are concerned. After looking more into this product i was very concerned to see what other pet owners went through by using this product.anon

This definately killed all the fleas on my dog right away. I have a bichon poo and so he has long fluffy fur. This left his fur so soft. The soap itself is very watery and lots just goes down the drain. However, it did work up a good lather unlike what some reviews have said. Bad news is, it does not repel fleas from my experience. Fleas still jump on him and stay. So, I sprayed my yard and house. As well as get him an all natural flea collar repellent. I would much rather use this wash that a Capstar. We purchased this shampoo, as our Rottweiler was very itchy at night. Prior to buying this, I asked how long would this shampoo work? The shampoo works immediately. Essentially it kills any live fleas on the dog, however, this shampoo is not made to continue fighting fleas days later. You need to invest in getting your dog on a flea treatment program to combat ongoing flea issues. This works! I was using an all natural shampoo but my poor puppy needed more help. Shes too young for a flea medication so I used this once a week and in between used the natural flea shampoo. Fleas fell off in sink. I gain a sense of satisfaction when I wash them down the drain. But you need to keep it lathered on pet for a few minutes at least before rinsing off. My two 9 month old puppies had flies – one was being tortured so I had applied flea drops – two days later they were still being tortured so I rush down to my local Petco and purchased the Natural Chemistry De Flea Pet Shampoo along with the spay for our carpet and furniture. I bought this product when my dog was under a year old. I was brushing his coat and noticed a flea. I immediately w went to Petco and I saw this product. This shampoo is excellent. My girlfriend and I noted a few fleas on our cat and chose this shampoo based on the reviews. It was a team effort, and we suffered a few wounds in the battle, but our cat was soaped and bathed from head to toe. We found many dead fleas while rinsing her off. If that story isn't enough…there was a stray flea on the side of the tub that was struggling to make a getaway after the smoke had cleared from the cat bath. This product is fairly effective at getting rid of fleas at least temporarily. It will kill them, but not prevent them. It does leave your pet with a slight greasy feeling and the smell is not very pleasant. I would opt to use a different product!emily.g

This stuff is outstanding. You spray it on your dog, or your home furnishings anywhere really. And you see the effects immediately. The fleas evacuate the area or pet and then die quickly. Its all natural nontoxic made from essential oils and will not negatively effect the health of anyone or anything that comes in contact with the products. There are 3 or 4 different fragrances to choose from that are not overwhelming and disapate pretty quickly but not in efficiency. The Skin Tonic helps my dogs with skin issues such as hot spots, allergies and welping blowing coat irritation. Beyond impressed!!! I live in an apartment building with neighbors who have indoor/outdoor cats so naturally at the start of fall every year my apartment gets infested. Ive tried salt, baking soda, dawn dish soap in bowls and on my cat (she is strictly indoor), pesticides, bombing the house, flea baths, collars, and oral/topical flea repellents. None of which comes close to Wondercide. The cedarwood is kinda strong but within 2 minutes the fleas on my cat were dying. I really wanted to like this and have it work, but it really just didn’t do it. I have a very small raised patio on the side of my new house that’s protected from direct sun and gets a nice breeze. I love sitting out there. But noticed little mosquitoes and flying insects seem to like it too. The bottle says how much it will cover and I probably only have 1/4 of that area. But I figured I’d use half and see how it works. I felt like it worked the first 30 minutes after I used it, but I had to leave the house and do stuff. The next day when I went outside, there were mosquitoes and bugs on me within minutes. They never went away. So yesterday (2 weeks after first attempt) I sprayed the other half all over the grass, patio etc….completely drenched the area. 20 minutes later I couldn’t even sit outside anymore from all the annoying bugs. Started using this once per week over one year ago on a small dog I would watch. He is the perfect height to pick up a variety of ticks on the top of his head and deer ticks by the eyes. He picked them up along the edge of the woods where he lived. I follow the instructions on the bottle but I bath him once per week when unless the temps dip below 20. The ticks vanished after first use and have not ever come back . Happily the tick set is in retirement! No fleas either. Dry, itchy skin has never been a problem. It's a perfect solution for us. I've only used it twice on my indoor dog bc the fleas are so bad were we are and this was the first dog/cat shampoo I've ever decided to use bc I've heard so much negativity towards these things. Good for making doggy smell good between baths. I don't know why they advertise this stuff as flee repellant. It isn't. And keep away from doggy's head. This stuff is so strong that it could cause serious health issues. Remember doggy's have very sensitive sinus and could maybe be harmed by the strong smell. Keep on back and belly only.johnwynt

I went on vacation last summer and I had left my dog in the care of my uncle. Long story short, she's so afraid of males that she wouldn't let him give her a bath. Been using this product for many years. It keeps ticks off my dog and off ME, too! My friend uses it on her mini-horse when we take walks on the wooded trails. I see the ticks fall off the horse's hocks! Altho' it is strong smelling (of cloves) and my dog isn't crazy about it, it does work and is a much better option to sprays containing DEET. does seam to help with the use of other products, like the stuff you put on the nap of the neck and down the dogs spine. we also use lemon grass essential oil, along with Rosemary, lavender, if you want cedar, basil sprayed the carpets and washed the floors, get the carpets daily, they are high jumpers so wash that and where your pet lays down or hang out get sprayed well. along with outside.Lori

My black lab has dry skin. I wash him with this shampoo sometimes instead of a more conditioning non flea removal shampoo. It seems to keep the fleas and ticks away! The only thing I don’t love is the scent, but other than that it works well and is reasonably priced.anastasia.t

I've always used this product on all of my dogs and have never had a problem. Keeps fleas and bugs off and away from them. I have 2 cats in a 700sq ft condo. One cat was newly adopted and i wasnt aware he had fleas because hes jet black. Within a few days, this place was overrun with them teying to eat me in my sleep. For such a low priced natural spray I honestly was not expecting much. My 15 week indoor cat just recently got fleas unexpectedly. I have hardwood floors and was concerned about what products to use to help completely stop the fleas. This spray almost immediately kills the fleas on impact. The only concern I have about using this product is actually using it on your pet. It was difficult to properly put this product on my cat as he was not fond of the smell or feeling at all. It was also difficult to keep him from licking himself afterwards, which it recommends you not allow. Overall I would recommend buying this product solely for the use of helping get rid of the fleas on furniture and in the environment and buying a separate medication for the fleas on your pet.charlize

This is a amazing product! It is a Nuisance for one cat, the second cat and one adult is highly allergic to fleas. I take each cat into the shower, and will begin by spraying my hands, and rubbing this onto their feet first, then I will apply to the stomach, the body, then around the chest and neck. Then, I will apply it to the top of their head, and the back of the ears. Once the product is coated, I then rub the product throughout the coat, down to the skin. This is how I start out with my first day each season. Waiting till the following day, I will begin spraying the product directly onto the feet, belly, back, and tail. Next, I will apply to my hands for their chest, neck, and the top of the head. It is very important not to spray the product directly into face, eyes, chest, or to have them breathe it in directly. This is a safe product. A wonderful product. It helps with inflammation, and is soothing to irritated skin. There is a bomb that kills fleas, and larva up to 6 months, it is in a purple box, cans are two ounces, and it comes with three cans, $9.50-9.99. If I notice more than one flea, cats are loaded into the vehicle, my husband sits with the animals, while I set off the bombs. We then will go for a two hour road trip. I have 2 65 lbs big dogs and I only use this spray whenever I take them out. Usually sprays 3 times on each side of their body and 2 sprays at the bottom. So far only found 1 tick on my shepherd's body in this summer. It does make their fur a little greasy but nothing can be better than natural ingredients. Highly recommended!iHerb Customer

This product has a unique texture that's more like a runny lotion. I believe it was formulated that way to make it longer lasting. The smell of lemongrass and rosemary is very nice, and my dog doesn't seem to mind it. However, I wouldn't recommend it for white dogs as it can stain fur. My mostly white pup had become yellow in places. Which is too bad. I was starting to become partial to this brand and their products. I can't comment on the effectiveness, since I had to stop using it due to the staining.iHerb Customer

This is interesting. The texture is like a gel spray and really sticks to the fur when dried down. I recommend taking a flea comb and combing it through your pets fur. I have taken my dog on some hikes in the forest and have found not one tick or flea on her! This actually does work if you are thorough with it. I would also recommend the flea shampoo from this brand and wash your dog about every two weeks during flea season.iHerb Customer

I have bought five bottles of this so far because I like the product that much. It’s easy to attach to your garden hose and you’re able to treat a large area with one container. I like to use this heavily right on the woods line of my yard and then cover the grass. The ticks are horrible right now in NH and I feel this product really helps control them. The scent is also not overbearing and I actually enjoy it. It smells very natural and dissipates rather quickly. I’ve treated my lawn twice so far this year only because it ended up raining the following day after treatment. Overall, I really like this brand. It’s safe to use around my children and pets while keeping ticks and bugs at bay naturally. I would definitely recommend this product.Acira27

Really strong. I used a little spot-check in the worst places because of the odor. Peppermint oil is also supposed to be good for rats which we also have this year after 12 years. I used Dr Brimmer's for that & liked it quite a bit. This stuff is really strong so be careful. I had also previously used some ENFORCER powder but that didn't seem to knock them out enough. You can keep spraying this, seems like there's more left over but like I said, it's very strong, be careful. Unfortunately, fleas & rats are abundant this year.Adrienne
