My Lurcher Heidi had to have a mammary tumour removed. She was terrified wearing an Elizabethan collar. So I got her a Buster collar but being long nosed Sighthound and with a flexable neck she could reach her stitches. The "Suitical" vest I got her from D forDog was absoulutley amazing. For toileting I just un-did the press studs and took her back legs out of the garment and rolled the Suitical back to her shoulders. This got the greyhound to eating after a bout of canine flu. She had lost so much weight and was very weak from not eating. She is typically an iffy eater. If she over heats (which is almost every day in triple digit NM summers) she stops eating. If she goes two days without eating, she is reluctant to eat even if she feels okay. We have discovered that the right dose for her (@35lb) is to place a finger over the open top of the bottle and tip the bottle over and back upright. The amount remaining on the end of the finger is then rubbed on her lips so she can lick it off. Once is usually enough, sometimes a second similar "dose" is needed. This keeps her from throwing it up and/or foaming. Usually within the hour she will start back eating. If not, she gets a second dose.Galgo Owner

This is the only thing that will get our dog to eat non-human food. We tried close to 20 different types of food including me cooking at home and she rejected them all. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I reluctantly decided to try this, but we were in the middle of allergy season, and watching her suffer is just too much. Fast forward to July 2019, and my order came in the mail. I gave two of the chewables to my pup the next morning, not expecting much, but just hoping that there would at least be a little relief. Much to my surprise, she didn't scratch AT ALL that day!! Pet Parents Allergy Supplement is wonderful! My dogs have less skin and eye irritation and can enjoy outdoor excursions during summer (allergy) season. It's great that it comes in Salmon flavor since one of my Shih Tzus has a chicken allergy. This really makes a difference for their ears, eyes, and skin. Unfortunately this gave my dog really bad diarrhea and discomfort. I wasn't sure if this was what caused the diarrhea initially so I took her off this for a couple days and added it back into her water after she recovered, she proceeded to have diarrhea again the next day. Possibly different effects for different breeds. Coco is a Toy Poodle of 4kg for reference but i would not recommend this product either way.Ariel
I read before I bought this product, that some dogs don\'t like the water after you add this. So at first, my dog drank the water but then she stopped. She would come up, smell it and walk away. After a while, I switched to fresh water, without this product, and she drank so much so she was definitely thirsty but unwilling to drink. I can say that after using this for 2 days, her breath did smell good! So the product works! But she\'s not drinking it so I have a full bottle sitting in my pantry – maybe we\'ll try again when she\'s older.Gogo the Beagle
Can't say this will eliminate all bad breath, but will help between brushes and use of dental treats! This is my second bottle, and has helped reduce bad breath in our pitty. Very happy I chose to try out this product. My cat has had upper respiratory problems in the past and sometimes he gets stuffed up and has trouble sneezing out any blockage he has, and with that comes some slight wheezing almost as if he is trying to pass a hairball. This stuff has been quite the little miracle. He’s quite good when I have to give the drops orally, as with it being a liquid its easy for him to swallow it but my go to is mixing it in his food so that way I can easily give it to him twice a day if need be. If I use it daily and as directed I notice his phlegm blockage clears up almost right away and his airways allow him to actually pass up a hairball if he has any trouble. I knew I was buying a trusted product after reading all the positive reviews and I felt safe giving this too my boy cause its holistic and approved by a vet! Its saved me an unnecessary trip to my vet whose out of town because I could tell it works just by how he was acting and how he sounded and I always like trying a safe and natural at home remedy before spending extra money on other meds for an issue he will probably deal with off and on for the rest of his life. My 18 month male cat came home very poorly and developed a very nasty cough, the vet diagnosed asthma so gave him a steroid injection and said when they neutered him they would cray him. So I searched the Internet for something that would help him, the first couple of doses I did put in a small amount of food but I then tried it on a spoon and he lapped it up like a good boy. He did seem to improve and thought he would be well enough to get neutered and get the xray I believed he needed and here it gets really really bad, he went down hill very very quickly although he would still take lung gold off of a spoon, I became really worried and spent hours trying to find a vet to see him as it was out of hours. He finally got to a vet and was rushed away and put into an incubator and had a mask with oxygen being pumped into him. At 3.33am the vet rang to tell me had to be revived they managed to get an xray only to discover he did not have asthma at all but his diaphragm was severely damaged and he was sadly put to sleep a few minutes later. My poor boy had been hit by something which had destroyed his diaphragm so badly that he would not have survived the surgery, his diaphragm was so badly damaged that everything the diaphragm holds in place had moved up and he would have died during surgery. I apologise for such a long review but I wanted to let people know just how good this product is, it definitely helped my precious boy by reducing his cough and improved his breathing. Please if your precious baby comes home noticeably unwell and develops a cough please insist on an xray just to be safe. My boy had been out for no more than half an hour and although the is hardly any traffic around my home the next road does have cars and buses. If you've read this far and in any doubt if you should buy this product as your cat has breathing problems, I would recommend that you try this because I have no doubt that it helped my boy so much and if nothing else I got longer with him because of lung gold.Kim R.
Our 12 year old Beagle/Spaniel mix, Maggie, was diagnosed with a mass in her neck/throat area just before Christmas 2020. This product works great for my dog. She’s coonhound and beagle mix. When I first brought her home she shed something awful! HAIR WAS EVERYWHERE! I was at my wits end and so ready to rehome her due to the excess shedding. I stayed up all nite and googled and came across this product! She really loved the taste of it in the beginning, but now not so much, so I give her 1-2 tablespoons a day. I’m definitely keeping her on this for a while. It’s much more convenient than having to melt coconut oil and applying it on her food. The pro: it definitely works! Plus Petco does price match in store with online! The con: Can be a bit pricey, as You have to buy 2 or more bottles before you see results. And your pet may not like it! I suggest holding on to the receipt, as I bought one for a friend and their pet didn’t care for it. The instructions say to double the dose for the first 30 days depending on the weight of your pet. Cookie weighs about 25lbs. For the first 30days I had to give her 4 tablespoons a day sprinkled and mixed in her food. 2tblsp in the a.m and 2tblsp in the p.m. from the 16oz bottle so I ran out of the fish oil in less than a week. My wife and I went in to grab this and ended up talking to a representative in the grooming who missed lead us and gave us false information and we ended up paying $150 for a de shed Bath. She said our dogs stop shedding in a few days but that was not the case two weeks later and it was worse than ever we ended up getting our money back for just a shedding but it wasn’t even the point. My baby pit bull loves this. She always seems hungry. Yet I feed her plenty and extra most days. Since adding this she seems satisfied for longer between feeding. I just drizzle most every bowl she eats with around a tablespoon. Her coat has become super shiny and smooth. Her dry patches at her elbows have gotten better as well. Very good. Bought it because my dog fell down a flight of stairs in his excitement and was limping for a few days. After I gave this HA to him, he could walk as per normal and jump around after two days. Don't know if it was his natural recovery or the effects of the HA. But I have read alot about HA and trust that it does help the joints and can be absorbed into the body. However, I must say that it is an expensive purchase. I started using this product afte my 7 year old dog was diagnosed with a Thyroid issue. She was overweight, had a lump on her neck, tail was loosing hair, all the "things/symptoms" that come with a thyroid issue. After the vet told me she HAS to be put on thyroid meds for the rest of her life, I did some research on what that meant. And then the thyroid medication recalls came. Two of my dogs tested severely hypothyroid. The first was only 2.5 years old, a neutered male deaf boxer. This was found after numerous issues that almost became fatal when he experienced anaphylactic shock last Dec. I finally found a holistic/traditional vet to figure out the root issue for him. I would have never guessed he was hypothyroid!?! He was friendly, hyper, full coat, great weight, you name it. Ultimately though he got way softer fur and decreased or eliminated allergy symptoms (paw licking, scratching, puking, etc.) after starting this supplement. My 12 year old spayed female plott hound was recently diagnosed hypothyroid as well. She had more classic thyroid symptoms (weight gain, less energy, etc.) but still had a soft full coat of fur. As an added bonus of these and other natural food and supplement changes, she is less aggressive and less reactive than she has ever been before! She used to bark at her butt daily likely due to incontinence urine burn, and that stopped too (the barking and the leaking)! She also quit her daily head shaking (likely ear allergies). I only wish I had learned all this sooner! I do use the instructions on the internet, at 1 pill per 30lbs twice per day. So my boxer gets 5 pills per day (75 lbs) and my plott gets 4 per day (60 lbs). It works wonderfully! I have been waiting for several months to write a review on this supplement to make sure that the results I was seeing were not just a coincidence. My 4 year old wheaten terrier was showing some signs of a thyroid condition (sensitivity to sounds, bouts of being scared/depressed, lethargy, random signs of aggressive behavior with guests, stiff/sore back legs, bit of weight gain) & we had him tested (complete thyroid panel). His T3s, T4s, and free T3s were all low. I purchased these supplements and began administering them – 1 pill in the morning (in peanut butter) and 1 in the evening (he weighs 45 pounds). We noticed changes after about a month of giving the supplements. Now, several months later, he is like a different dog. He is happy, he doesn't hide and cower at sounds anymore, he doesn't seem stiff or sore, and he now greets guests that he used to bark at viciously with kisses. I bought these chews for my aunt's 9 year old German Shepherd. She used to buy him human probiotic because he would refuse to take any probiotic made for the dogs.
