My 12 year old Yorkie suddenly starting losing the contents of her bladder during the night. The vet suggested checking for a UTI. I did some research and found that not only would that be expensive and require a course of antibiotics, many people found that the dog's UTI would come right back after they were done. Since she wasn't in pain when urinating and there was no sign of blood, I thought I would try apple cider vinegar first which evidently works very well. My little Papillon, Dixie (1.9 yrs old) has had the typical small dog issues with her stools since she was a pup (who ever decided to breed a small breed dog with long butt hair wasn't really thinking "practical"! I like to compare it to a woman trying to go to the bathroom in a wedding dress!) and about 1 year ago she had a BAD bout of Pancreatitis that landed her in the Emergency Hospital for 6 days (a pretty penny- about $2700.00! Thank goodness for Pet Insurance!). This product has been a life saver for both Dixie and me! Ofcourse no over-the-counter medication is an equal replacement for veterinary care if your dog is ill, but this is a great product for every pet owner to have on hand! It's great for the occasional upset stomach and when your dog gets into the cat food, trash, etc. It's also been great with the history of Pancreatitis, if Dixie gets an upset stomach after my regular vet's office hours, it works almost immediately and it helps prevent the dangerous symptoms associated with moderate to severe diarreaha such as dehydration (it doesn't take many loose bowel movements for an 8lb. dog to get dangerously dehydrated), vomiting blood and bloody diarreaha from an irritated G.I. tract, etc,. This has helped by me time to get through the night without having to take Dixie back to the outrageously expensive Emergency Hospital and calms her symptoms until our regular vet opens. It's worth shelling out the few bucks to have this on hand rather than the costs of an emergency visit! It's some sort of Doggie-Murphy's-Law that your pet only gets sick at 2am… I call it Doggie- Immodium, it really does work great and my vet said it's great to have on hand and perfectly safe to give your pet. It says on the label (or somewhere in the advertisement) that your pet will love the taste and the review from "Snoozer" before mine said their dog liked it, but unfortunately I have them beat with "picky-dog factor" Dixie HATES it! The good thing is that because its a nice thick paste as long as I get it somewhere on her muzzle (she puts up a fight like you wouldn't believe- but that stems from being treated poorly and force-fed as a puppy, it's not the products fault) she does lick it off and gets enough medicine in her system to be effective! So overall, I highly recommend every dog and cat owner to have this in your home, even if your animal doesn't have a history of GI issues! Most people have Immodium or pepto in their medicine cabinets, shouldn't you do the same for your pet? PS- the cats LOVE the taste! Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. My new horse, a missouri foxtrotter, new to my corrals spooked in the middle of the night, I'd had him about 2 weeks, fell butt first into the bathtub water trough. In trying to get out skinned about 7 in. of hide and skin off the back of his leg below the knee. The vet said everything was intact, it was mostly skin. The skin and hair slid up to the top of the wound. We have been trimming skin every couple weeks for 6 weeks now, it just was not healing very fast. I have two dogs–one large pup that has occasional g/I issues, and a small older dog that has chronic pancreatitis. His first owner gave up on him when the vets couldn't offer anything that worked for long and recomended an e-collar and cortisone treatments to try breaking the cycle , but the cat always got worse again. The affected area was a patch of skin about 6 inches by 3 inches which was often raw and bleeding. When we adopted him, we tried many things such as change of diet, nutritional supplements, and a variety of safe natural topical treatments. He spent 3 years wearing cotton shirt-jacket ( of t-shirt material ) , night and day, to reduce the amount of harm he could do to himself, as a more humane choice than the e-collar which he hated… He still suffered the uncontrollable urge to lick and bite at his shoulder/side & his shirts had to be replaced weekly as he tore them up. I decided to order the Obsession remedy, after reading about it on-site here. I didn't truly hold great faith that anything would turn things around after so long – but I felt comfortable that the remedy was safe to use , and the simplest method was to put it into the water bowl which all of our animals drink from. It seemed like a last resort to explore. About 3 weeks later, I knew there was an improvement in his skin / fur and I decided to take a chance and remove his shirt jacket for awhile to see how he acted. On all other past occasions, sometimes within minutes, he'd be licking,chewing and have his skin raw again. However, this time he didn't react in that manner and seemd calm and oblivious to the opportunity. After an hour or so, all was still going well, so I took the risk of leaving him 'shirt-less' overnight. I was very relieved and happy the next day to see that he had not harmed himself … It's now been several months and I'm no longer using the remedy in the drinking water for the animals and he continues to do well. His fur has grown back in and the only remaining evidence of his problem is one small patch which can't be noticed by eye, and is only noticable by touch, which is still missing a bit of hair and has some scar tissue. That too will heal and soon disappear almost totally, I believe. I originally ordered two bottles of Obsession remedy and the 2nd one is unopened and sitting in my pantry … in the event that the cat shows a relapse of behaviour, I'll start using it again immediately. I tell others I've met, whose animals have similar troubles, about the product because one thing I'm sure of is that it's utterly safe and worth a try. I found and purchased this product through my holistic health practitioner. I recently adopted a 5-month-old Mastiff puppy that had been transported from another rescue. She's had most vaccinations and was also spayed prior to transport. She had hookworm (common), some thin hair patches and her skin smelled yeasty. Her second day with me, she developed a urinary infection which my vet treated with Clavamox and dewormer. She also would try to eat pebbles. She then picked up Giardia (oh joy) and treated with more dewormer. Her suture sight from the spay abscessed from infection and she began scratching and chewing herself more and her skin developed raised bumps like bug bites. My vet prescribed another oral antibiotic as well as an abx injection. He also prescribed prednisone to help the itching and KetoHex shampoo but warned that we'd need to consider mange if the problem persisted. She's responded well to the meds although I've been cringing at all of the toxins she's been exposed to and the abx stripping away her gut flora. I'm hoping this will help to combat some of the intestinal damage she's received and restore some good flora. I've used similar style dosing syringes and I like the ease of use and that the product is already in the syringe. I did have trouble initially with the plunger. The product was very thick (dense) near the opening. Since my pup liked the taste I just plunged the rest of her dose into her empty food bowl and she licked it right up. The product definitely was more liquidy (less dense) further back from the opening. I'm not sure if this presents a problem for equal distribution of ingredients. I'm crossing my fingers that this product will help quickly. I'm also starting Omega-3 oil for pets from Nordic Naturals and will try the Vetri-Science Vetri Repel Spray in the hope that the castor oil and lemongrass oil will help conquer the Demodex mites as well as the fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes that the label states.Rescue mom

Keep this on hand for trimming our guinea pig's nails. His front nails are clear/white, so it's pretty easy to see the quick, but his back nails are dark and once we (my GF, I hold him) got his quick. Luckily we had this stuff on hand, and it stopped bleeding basically as soon as we dipped his nail in it. I love how versatile this is! I have 3 dogs. My largest being 80lbs and two 10lb dogs. I love that unlike some calming treats that have to be broken up due to size or more for my larger dog this I can measure out and each dog gets just what they need. My GSD has bad separation issues (we adopting him and he was kenneled all the time so he gets really nervous) This calming infusion has taken the edge off. He seems to be much calmer in the past week when we give him it before bed or before we leave. My little dogs like it also. They loved the flavor and are excited for it.
My small Feist breed has developed severe separation anxiety and aggression which has become unsafe and unhealthy for her. I decided to try this calming solution because of its healthy ingredients and it's working wonderfully. I have to mix small treats with it so she will eat it but giving half of the recommended dose in the morning keeps her calm but still playful throughout the day. We give her the full recommended dose when we're gonna be gone for long periods of time. We have seen a drastic change in her behavior. She still wants to be close to us but is not longer whining and chewing household items. Her aggression has seemed to slow down as well. I highly recommend you try this for your dog if they are experiencing anxiety issues.
To put it simply, I have a nervous wreck of a pitty. I love that this is liquid and super easy to add to her bowl of food. My girl definitely noticed a change and we had to do a super slow introduction with it. We're still not up to the dose she should be at for her weight. She seems to be managing me being gone a little better. Less mess when I arrive home. Thunderstorms are another story. I notice absolutely no difference. I love the chamomile and Tryptophan and think she's getting benefits from each of these supplements. Considered how common feline hyperthyroidism is, people should be aware that some medicinal mushrooms contained in here, stimulate the endocrine system. Purchased this product along with BSST to help our 7-year-old Golden mix build up her immunity to hopefully fight off any more mast cell tumors. While reading other recommendations, I discovered that it is good for older pets, as well, who may need their immunity bolstered simply because of age. So, we began giving it to our nearly 12-year-old Malamute. I have noticed a definite difference in both dogs! They are much more alert, and they look and act like they feel better. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I read a lot of good reviews about the Thunder Ease spray which led me to make the purchase. I have 2 Yorkies that stress very badly during loud thunderstorms and when they hear loud fireworks, so I believed this would offer them much needed relief. I've used the spray according to the directions on 4 occasions during recent storms and it did absolutely nothing. I sprayed the dogs, their bedding and their kennel and to no avail, they continued to stress and pant nervously. So, at least in my instance, since it failed, I cannot claim that it is either a good value or of good quality.big-d-in-kc
I bought this thinking it would be something to use when we get company or workers that come to the house. Our dog has anxiety and barking at these times. This needs to used on objects close to the dog 15 minutes or more before. Doesn’t work for our needs. I am going to try a collar type instead.Obie mom
My dog is terrified of thunder, rainstorms, and loud noises. He only became that way the last couple of years. We tried everything. This seems to help a little and he does not pant as much. We start it earlier than the expected time of the storm. We used it New Years Eve and while he was nervous, he did not pant as much as he usually did. It is true to fit and is well-made.
