Dog Skin Yeast Infection Treatment For Sale (2024 Update)

I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. You can continue every other day for another 2 weeks.Cricketoes

I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. Very effective. At first My Weimeraner experienced a heavy yeast die off resulting in red swollen paws. She was uncomfortable for a few days. Although Yeast Free Fido seems to be helping my dog, I have a major problem with your company for which I will have to add to and update my review. Your kit does not supply enough of the Yeast Guard and Digest for my large 70lb dog for 60 days. This is also obvious as those containers are smaller than the the Gut Guard container. I had subsequently ordered the kit 2 more times so as to administer the complete program and extend the 60 days as my dog was put on an antibiotic for 3 weeks for a UTI. Recently, I needed Yeast Guard but could not purchase it online by itself. Because you do not give enough of the Digest and Yeast Guard for my dog in the kit, I, as stated have had to reorder it 2x . Then I needed more Yeast Guard again, but could not order it online. I called your company and the associate was very apologetic about not being able to order the Yeast Guard ONLY, online. He proceeded to order me the Yeast Guard over the phone. I, presently, again, NEED THE YEAST GUARD to balance the program to complete the 60 day treatment. I have called your company and the associate stated that they cannot sell it separately and I must by the kit. She repeated this to me even after having spoken to her manager. (supposedly). I do not understand WHY you DO NOT SELL ALL THE PRODUCTS INDIVIDUALLY ONLINE. I am very upset about this as I thought your company was on the 'up and up' as they say. I am NOT going to purchase a whole kit again. If I cannot purchase the Yeast Guard separately, I am sorry to say that I think you are trying to force people to buy the whole kit and spend more money than necessary. I did receive a reply to my email regarding this issue. Though apologetic, it stated that I could only replace the Yeast Guard by purchasing the kit as their inventory for just the Yeast Guard was insufficient to be able to sell individual jars. It also stated THAT THE COMPANY IS AWARE THAT THE KIT IS INSUFFICIENT WITH THE YEAST GUARD AND DIGEST FOR LARGE DOGS. We are still using Yeast Guard after 4 days. Ears smell clean now but Charli our 5 month old puppy shakes her ear a couple times a day almost each day. In addition to Yeast Guard, we are cleaning the ears with a good purchased ear wash. Charli refused her food if the supplement was added so we have to put the powder in a soft cheese "pill pocket" that we make so we can fool her, and it works! We are are supplementing her raw food diet with Better Bones, Guts & Glory, and Digest, all which mix in her food just fine. Fingers crossed, hoping to see signs if ear problems going away.Cindy R.

It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. Apoquel has done wonders for my German Shepherd who recently developed seasonal allergies at six years old. He was scratching and biting at himself 24/7 and he caused an infection on his foot from the constant licking. He was so miserable until our vet put him on apoquel along w an antibiotic for his infection. The apoquel worked very quickly with relief felt later the same day he started. It’s pricey but so worth every penny. Vet believes he’ll need to stay on it until we see at least two morning frosts.Diane Y

It Immediately helped my terrier stop gnawing his poor little leg raw. Every spring he has seasonal allergies possibly just allergic to the grass. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. My cat was diagnosed with Cryptococcossis and has to stay on Flucanazole for months. if your pet has to take this anti fungal meds, the Alivet for sure has lowest price on most prescription meds. I use this product on the vulva of my female golden retriever. She has a skin flap that holds in moisture, so she has a chronic skin condition there if not treated. It causes her to "scoot" constantly due to a discharge. This ointment was quickly and entirely effective for eliminating the symptoms. If your dog gets paw and skin dermatitis you need to get this! My golden retriever gets it from outdoor allergies especially from grass. It clears up in 2 days when I apply it overnight very generously. His paws turn super red and swollen but this has been a miracle. My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. My cat seems to have a habit of biting her fur off, usually after I have put flea medication on her. We have discovered she is a bit allergic to ingredients in most flea medication. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I've been using it since the 90's – long before Tea Tree oil was main stream in the US. It works so well and I happen to like the smell. I've actually used it on me for poison oak because that's all I had in the medicine cabinet. It is very soothing and helps dry up yucky skin – or poison oak blisters. I love that it's anti fungal, anti bacterial as well as anti itch. Those with itchy dog experience are painfully familiar with secondary skin infections from dogs biting their itchies!! I am glad I read the reviews on this product. They helped me to decide to give it a try. I have a dog with severe skin allergies. He is on premium dog food. He gets wiped off every time he come in from outside. I still was having problems with him biting or scratching himself raw. I had purchased this for my older dogs . We used it and it seemed to work for all their skin conditions. Just did not think a lot about it. Then we adopted a little fellow from the pound. 5he skin soother is a great as described! My pup got an abrasion on the side of her snout. The healing process made it itchy so she'd rub her face on the carpet thus rubbing off the scab and the wound would bleed and we had to start the healing process over. I put skin soother on her abrasion at bed time. The next morning it wasn't red and angry looking and she didn't rub her face on the carpet. Started my pup on the skin soother after he developed allergies. He was scratching himself raw and needed a steroid taper to alleviate his discomfort. I ordered this for my elderly Boston Terrier. She has always struggled with skin and allergy issues, but they've gotten increasingly worse with age.
