The 14 tests were scattered as to 30, 40, and 60 second readings, requiring too much manual and mental dexterity to get all the readings done in the separately specified timeframes. You'd be better off getting a test with a small number of better organized tests. (2) The package insert of instructions was in English, but looked like it was translated from some other foreign language — i.e., was *very* difficult to understand. There was a shorter instruction sheet thrown in, but it didn't explain enough. (3) The product and instructions didn't seem to be made in the USA – which is OK with me as long as the product has integrity. This includes accompanying documentation which casts doubt on this. I purchased these for personal use at home. I am a laboratory tech and run urine tests with reagent test strips all the time. I tested myself numerous times with erroneous results x 10. I tested my daughter and my husband and their results were the same as mine with Urobilinogen, Ketones, creatinine, microalbumin, ph, specific gravity, all very high. Calcium positive as well. Our test strip results were exactly the same for all 3 of us. Abnormal and erroneous! Do not purchase these as they are junk. According to the bottle the expiration date is good. No return no refund no attempt to make right!Carol

When I first used the test strips the results were.. troubling. I was panicking, thinking I was dying and stuff. Then I had my husband use one and his results were scary too. So I tested our 4 years old, grandma, friends, etc. all the results were close to the same. We all have kidney damage. I don’t believe that because most of these people are healthy individuals. No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. You know I just wish there were more products for cats that they would actually eat, drink, or like. There is certainly enough out there for dogs. These test strips work good. They are very accurate imo. I had went to the dr's office the morning I started having uti symptoms to get tested but they told me the dipstick test came back negative. They sent the urine culture off which also came back negative. My symptoms gradually got worse and I decided to test myself at home with these strips. The strips told me I was negative to nitrates and positive for leukocytes. I called the dr. back and told them I had gotten worse and they told me to come back to restest. When I retested at the drs. office they told me I did have a uti and that my test came back positive for leukocytes and negative for nitrates which is exactly what this easy @ home test strips told me. They also sent my culture off to the lab and it came back positive for ecoli. They prescribed me antibiotics that I have taken for 10 days and told me to return after I finish to get retested. I decided to retest myself with these strips and both nitrates and leukocytes came back negative. I'm confident in the accuracy of these strips that I don't find the need to go back to the dr to recheck. These strips are worth the purchase. If you're not sure if you have a uti they are good to check to see if you do before you go to the dr's office and waste time and money if you don't or if it's not showing up yet bc there is not enough bacteria or white blood cells.bluef

These are good tests. There is a chance for false positive if nitrites are negative but the leucocytes are positive, as indicated in this test kit's instructions. But, if nitrites are positive it guarantees presence of bacterial infection. So, this is a very accurate test and a great thing to keep on hand if you suffer from frequent UTIs. I bought these for my daughter, and it was a hard decision bc every brand, even AZO, had concerning negative reviews. So I was pleased that she had the above review to share. Also, in the various brands reviews alot of people were complaining that once u open the pouch, u have to use them up quickly. So I'm glad I chose the 10 individual pouchesMelinda

I have suffered from chronic UTIs for several years, especially in the summer. Over the years I have also become sensitive to many of the antibiotics used to cure those UTIs. It is important for me to be able to catch them before I am symptomatic so I test often. I am glad to have found test strips in quantity for a reasonable price. This latest order had an expiration date a full 11 months in the future – plenty of time use them all. These are absolute garbage! They are really small and I even doubled up, they still leak right through the material. Very disappointing since I decided to spend a few extra dollars and order them through Walmart after reading so many positive reviews. I used them for a golden doodle and a bichon and these pads weren't absorbent for either. I have no idea what the positive reviewers used them for – most likely a parakeet or something small. Bought these to put under my 17year old dog to keep jer dry amd comfortable in her final weeks. She could no longer stand or walk but the vet said if I brought her in to assess for euthanization I would have to just hand her to them in the parking lot and they would take her in the office (due to covid). That wasnt happening and the home pet hospice places werent responding so it was up to me to make her comfortable. I lined her bed with these daily and changed them as soon as they were wet or dirty. I hand fed her all the treats she was never supposed to have for her final weeks jere on earth. She was comfortable and lasted almost a month like that, finally passing on 6/6/20 at 17-1/2 years old. I dont know what I would have done without these. They kept her dry and comfortable and her bed clean in spite of her inability to move in her final days. I bought another brand that smelled like lavendar or something and had to throw those out because their strong smell gave me a headache and she tried to dig away from them. These were wonderful. Great size. I have a 13 year old chihuahua rescue dog that had never been outside in 10 years. I use these pads for her and for a puppy that was also a rescue. The puppy was only used to going on concrete and floors! Although they can spend hours outside in the yard or on the patio or veranda, weather permitting, the chihuahua faithfully uses the pads. Our puppy is slowly getting potty trained, so she uses them less. Then, imagine my surprise when I saw our 15 year old cat use it! In his old age he doesn't like the cat box and usually goes in the grass or dirt outside. It's been way too hot for him, so the pad was his choice! Never had a leak!Conejozoo

I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. My dog has not had any accidents in the house and seems to have as strong a bladder as with the prescription med. Label said good quality and taste they might be but to tell the truth, I will probably never know cause my dogs spit them out. I've tried to sneak pills in hot dogs, works sometimes most times if they find them dogs turn their noses up and walk away. Hate to give a poor review but why didnt they just put a little bit of flavor in these? I mean it says there chewables, That to me says Dogs will chew the things and like to take their medicine. These pills are white with no flavor at all no smell either, Dogs smell before they eat and if there is no smell they wont eat em. I read where someone said it did not work, i'm here to tell you that it worked for my Pyredoodle. You have to follow the instructions. I gave her 2 a day for 2 weeks and she quit having accidents. My cat has had repeated uti's involving emergency vet visits and a lot of stress. When the antibiotic wears off, the infection returns. I was at Petco on Sunday and saw this product and decided to buy it in case there was another infection. My cat had a crisis 2 days later with very extreme symptoms. I gave her 5 drops and noticed no change. So I did it again in 15 minutes and she began to calm down. Then she sat quietly for awhile and then went upstairs to sleep under my bed for the rest of the day. The next day she acted like nothing had happened. I was amazed! Time will tell if she will have more problems, but this is way better than dragging her crying to the vet, if I can even find a vet who will see her the same day. While I am not really one to normally write a review, I research other reviews diligently and thought it was time I started- especially to brag on this product and hopefully help someone else. Case: Mittens is a 3 year old female never with any previous UTI issues, Food: ate frisky crunchies and was happy, Fast forward to 2 months ago- she started with always being wet on her bottom. It kind of threw me off because I thought it could be a problem with her rear and not bladder, it progressed to constant going in litter box and barely having anything come out. Through this time 700. was spent at vet, ultrasounds, urinalysis' , lab testing, all showing nothing but antibiotics were administered as it was obvious something was wrong. The vet was insistent about stress thought I was skeptical as absolutely zero had changed in our household and buying the 50. food just was not an expense I was ready to do at that moment. The antibiotics has slight improvement but never fixed the issue. Mittens also has to be put under aneasthesia every time we go as she is very sweet, but not a good patient. During this time I was also an my witts end not wanting to put her thru another battery of testing and my house issue. In that I mean everywhere she went she would leave wet spots and a terrible smell which simply could not go on. So I went to do what you have done if you are here, online research and came across this product. I ordered it and went to bed as it was late and would be ready for pick up the next morning. I was hopeful and excited that this could be 'it'- a cure. So we picked it up and went to work. I followed dosing as directed for an acute condition as that is what we had. I had to administer via wet food because a syringe simply does not work with her. We did 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and went on as directions said the whole time via food, 2nd day three times a day 10 drops each meal, and 3rd day back to initial dosing of 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and 2 more times that day. I was not seeing the 'immediate result' some people had at that point. I will also say I was feeding her uti proplan wet food only during this time. We started Sunday morning and I did not notice relief until Tuesday evening- We were getting a stream of urine. I was so happy I could cry! Now we are at Thursday and we seem to be almost normal. Absoulutely AMAZING, have patience this stuff works! I am going to continue dosing twice a day and maybe even once a day for prevention going forward. My cat is almost 7yrs of age and never before had any health issues until one day, I saw him spotting in the litter box. He would continuously go in and out, squirt a little urine without covering it, then lick his private area when he was done. This went on throughout the entire day for about two full days. Luckily I scoop his litter every morning so I was able to catch the issue right away. After day 2 of seeing him do this, in which he now had a funny walk and refused to eat or drink anything, I knew it was time to go to a vet. I went to one and spent a little over $250 on fees, an X-ray, and pain meds just for them to tell me that he’s a healthy cat and that they could not find anything wrong. Best purchase ever. To train my puppy to use this I collected some of his urine and placed it on the mat for him to smell. Immediately he used the pet loo. I don't bother with the Pee sponge. I have this in the spare second shower where I can empty container straight into the toilet and hose down the mat for cleaning. Best to buy a second mat to swap over when thorough clean neededTracy

I wasn't looking for the petloo at all as I thought it would not serve my purpose which was to introduce 5 week old puppies to basic toilet training. Luckily the lady that served me was a breeder and told me she used the petloo from 3-4 weeks of age. Although very hesitant at first due to the cost, I decided to give it a go and it has been a lifesaver! The puppies took no time at all adjusting to the petloo and the whelping area that usually resembled a Jackson Pollock painting every morning is now literally a 3 minute cleanup! I highly recommend it for litter training. Weh the pups are young, use turf only with a peepad. When pups are able to climb, introduce the base. Took 1 star off due to flimsy clips that hold the turf in place. I can see this being a problem for larger rambunctious puppies who might chew them and dislodge the turf.ellyD

I bought this for my 8 week old French Bulldog and it has been a fantastic addition. We live in the city and were cautioned against taking him to public areas for potty breaks until he has completed his vaccinations. We keep the potty loo on our back deck and he goes right up to the slide door when he is ready to use it. He has used it consistently since the first night we brought it home for both #1 and #2, with very few indoor accidents since then. It may help that the breeder started setting the puppies on grass to potty around 7 weeks of age. We use the Wee powder and trays provided, and wash it with dish soap and water once a week. These charcoal pads are a new product for my rescue doggo Addie and I. Our 15 pound mix is limited to indoors and has been trained to the pads. That means lots of toilet duty and smells are a problem to keep up with. So far I've noticed a difference from previous pads in absorbency and the urine odor, and it seems not quite as strong as usual, (barring her water intake naturally). The color is new, the black pads keep the urine from showing up on the pad so you have to be careful not to mistake what would've looked like a blank spot when you do your clean up. Not a problem just a heads up. The price point is good and there's no scent associated with the clean dry pad. I believe we will try these again.PAMELA

We were a little sceptical about it controls orders, but the charcoal pads really does! So this is our second package. Wal-Mart 's service is great. I have 3 Chihuahuas mother and 2 babies now 5 months i always use a blue pad. I always wondered why was the pee passing through when not peeing on a corner i went to an xlarge and i have 2 sections in my home where they do there business i was so unsatisfied with the brand i was buying and so expensive a friend told me about glad and this was a life saver my floors are always dry now the only thing i don't like you can not stick them to the floor so when my dogs go in a circle looking for there spot the pads roll around with them 😆 but got some tape and job done. Our Terrier/Poodle/Chihuahua Mix is 16 years old. She was having bladder control problems when she slept too long in one place. I found NaturVet Bladder Support at Wal-Mart and tried it. We started using this for our Golden due to her health issues. While she was taking Caranidin she did not have any bladder issues for infection. She became very ill with a heart issue and trying to keep the cost down we tried something different. That was a HUGE mistake! She started having urinary infections. We put her back on the Crananidin after the 2nd infection she had with in 3 months. She has not had an infection since and we will not take her off it again.Helen

In my specific case, this product did not work as expected, recurring E coli UTI is again here. However, due to some clinical reports and recommendations, cranberry extract may prevent UTI caused by UPEC (Uropathogen E coli). And Crananidin is among very few products available that has standardized amount of proanthocyanidin, an active substance which might prevent E coli to attach on bladder wall. For this reason, I would recommend to try it, but do not expect miracles; it may work, but it may also not work. The reason: different E coli species have different mechanisms for attachment, proanthocyanidin blocks only one of them.dtomic

Our vet suggested trying this for a senior cat with recurring bladder infections. Although she has only been taking it a short time, and only time will tell if it's effective, I've been pleased with the fact that it has been easy to give – 1/4 tab wrapped in a Pill Pocket, and she eats it willingly. These are the best pads I’ve used so far. I’ve tried them all: charcoal activated, huge ones, small ones, blue ones, green ones…. Everything. My cat has special needs as she is older and doesn’t like the feel of litter in her paws due to arthritis. So we line her litter boxes with these and she uses them happily. These smell nice when you put them out initially and the smell dissipates after a little bit. So the smell isn’t overwhelming. It also hasnt deterred my pet from using them. They’re very absorbent and they’ve never failed me in that sense. They certainly hold lots of urine. But as soon as they’re soiled, they do not mask the smell of urine or feces fully. They help, but they’re not magic after all. We change them out as soon as she uses them and would recommend it for anyone using them for puppy training. However, since walking on the urine will wet their paws and then move the peepee paw marks wherever else they go, as far as “transfer” goes, they’re not 100%. If our girl pees and it catches her back paws, they do get a little wet with pee and we have to wash her little pawpaws. So that’s something to consider.Celeste

I have used these pads 21”x21” for my small dog for years. Multiple pees are accommodated on each pad per day. I use the plastic tray with them. The tray holds the pad in place securely as the dog moves around. They never leak and absorb the urine quickly. I would never use another brand. There is no lure pheromone added to these pads and therefore perfect for animals that are not in training. Use the correct sized pad for the weight of your animal. A large dog in a small pad will cause leakage. Having a pad trained dog is wonderful for the animal and you. My dog can go to the bathroom when needed and doesn’t have to be in the icy cold weather for a pee. Less stress for everyone. Also convenient for traveling as you can provide a pad anywhere and your dog will use it. Takes time to pad train, and starting a puppy is easiest. However, I did train an electrolyte dog to use these late in life. I highly recommend these pads and the appropriate holder tray.luv2shop

On a weekly trip to Walmart, I stopped by the pet aisle to grab the stash of pads I needed for my fur babies. I usually use the blue lined pads in the large size and they work great. This day I accidentally bought the purple lavender scented ones. I figured if anything my living room will have the added pleasure of smelling great. Well then. My 3 adorable ferrets decided that this scent brought them back to the memories of their ancestors and decided to dig up these new pads as if they had a mission to generate a warp-hole to lavender fields of old. Sensing this could be a problem I took the duct tape approach. Lets tape these suckers into the cage so they can be dug up no more! Eureka! Well, no. The story only really begins here. Then one of them actually used the pad. I mean, well how much could a little carpet shark or three really pee right? Upon the first usage of this lavender scented pad my babies cage was covered in a flood like in the days of Noah! I think they released the Kraken! I had synchronize swimmers on my hands. This just did not work. After calling a clean up crew I decided that it just might be best to return to Walmart to pick up a package of the blue lined pads after all, as who could deal with all this on the daily. Way to go Hartz for the lovely thought behind the lavender scent… but this product had failed me and my babies in so many ways. Fist bump for effort though.Noodle mama
