We purchased the Pegasus a month or so ago. See, my husband had a major back surgery in July. Following the surgery he was left paralyzed from the waist down. He had another emergency surgery in August where they discovered that he had a large hematoma on his spinal cord. After that surgery he has been able to gain some movement. Unfortunately, that has left me in the position of having to do the household repairs. I have also had 9 back surgeries so things are pretty tough for the both of us. Yesterday I was trying to arrange a small room in our house to make it like a work room so he could do small things at his work bench and so that I could use the Pegasus inside. It's nasty in Buffalo during the winter. Anyway, while I was moving things around a set of shelves tipped forward and would have crushed me if my Pegasus wasn't in there. The Pegasus caught the shelves and LITERALLY saved me! In closing, my new favorite tool is the Pegasus Worx table for the ease of using it, the multiple things it can hold in place and the tilt… I LOVE the tilt and for it's life saving capabilities. I've owned my Worx Pegasus for about 2 months. It has already helped with two projects. The clamps perform better than some reviews would have you believe, but they are not great quality. I left the table outside in the rain after it was covered with sawdust and other shreds. After a light rain the clamps already started to rust. To make matters worse, one of the clamps has already started to crack on the rubber grip. Unacceptable after such a short amount of use for a $100+ product. They do a nice job of holding onto pieces of wood. I haven't had one release or lose its grip while dealing with them. They can still mar a project, so keep that in mind. The table itself is easy to set up. I don't have a dedicated indoor space, so this is important to me. It takes more time to pull it out than it does to set it up. You fold each side out (watch your fingers/hands in the middle piece) and push down the bottom supporting piece. Done! So far I've used it as a base for sanding, cutting, staining, and drilling. It takes my 50 pound sliding miter saw with no problem and is stable enough where I don't worry about using it (while clamped) on the table.kazper007

Seems like good construction. I liked the pads on top to prevent pinching, but overall, it is still the same standard harness you can get everywhere. Unfortunately, I am still on the hunt for a good harness to use for running with my dog. The harness rubbed under his armpits and rubbed them raw. The product is basically as it is described. My puppy is a little rambunctious, so she wouldn't stop pulling them around and trying to eat the grass off. She is 4 months old and very energetic. She was initially trained on potty pads, but we were looking for a segue into training her to go outside. It didn't really work for us. I ordered a LARGE for my PUGGLE and he barely can fit on it. Definitely not even close to true to size. And since i've started using this the scent of urine has been obnoxious and potent and i clean it daily with pet lysol spray and hot water. This is a purchase that I can conclude as a lesson learnt. I purchased this product because it was smaller than my other pet unit which allowed it for portability when traveling. The turf itself is okay quality, easy to clean and drains correctly. However, the middle draining tray is not designed at all to work at all. The urine just collects on top of the drain tray because the holes and bumps aren't in a functional area and it barely drains to the lower tray. It is made from a texture that soaks up the urine instead of allowing it to flow off and threw, therefore it collects oder, collects urine that won't wash/scrub off, it can't be cleaned properly and all that waste causes the material to break down. When I say break down, I mean in ever sense. It starts to break off in pieces. Every time I clean the product, more peices fall off and it gets smaller and smaller. Basically, this product does not work. I learned that I should stick with what works and not take chances of cheaper off brand products. Even though the size of my other potty unit is less portable, it actually works! To begin with; our pooch is a tall & lean 92lb Catahoula mix with a deep chest. He's a big boy, but I'd not say especially long. I mention the legnth because the XL Carhartt jacket isn't long enough… stopping 3" short of our Catahoula's tail. Despite his deep chest, the lower straps are at least 4" too long & must be overlapped with more than 2" protruding on both sides. The front strap is also a bit too long but less than 2". The Velcro holds well but we've only used the jacket a few times so far – I've read less than positive reviews about the Velcro not holding up past a year – a buckle would be nice (& we may add this). The jacket is rather stiff & when our dog turns or manuvers, the rear portion swings out a little left/right (like a hoop skirt) away from the ribcage, leaving the rump exposed, but this isn't a big deal & the stiffness will probably relax somewhat after repeated use &/or a wash. There's no opening for a harness, but an opening could be cut & nicely stitched pretty easily – we're going to do this. Having said all that we do like the jacket – it's made of tough Carhartt fabric (VERY important for adventurous doggies!), it stays in place even during vigorous rabbit chases through deep brush & offers very good protection… keeping in mind there's NO coverage underneath. We plan to get an additional "sweater" type garment to be worn as a base layer on colder days.Catahoulas are awesome
We have 2 dobermans and live in a very rural, snowy area. They play/wrestle constantly and they shredded through 4-5 coats due to their playing. We finally found the Carhartt Dog Chore coat and they've lasted 2 years now. I would've given this product 5 Stars, but there are 2 issues I can't ignore: 1) One dog is 65lbs and the Large size is a little small on her (because, as a Doberman, she has a huge ribcage). Our other dog is 85lbs and the XL is huge on him. So the fit range seems to be inconsistent. 2) The velcro lost most of its grip after the first year. Also, the stitching holding the velcro on is coming out. We need to use rubber bands to keep the coat strapped on. All that said, this is still the most functional and durable dog coat we've found.DougP
I have two dogs, a sm/md hound and a thin, barrel chested md sheppard. Sadly, I haven't actually found anything that fits my sheppard properly and thats the case here, medium is too small and large she swims in. So this review is for the hound. He is a perfect fit in a medium and I believe he weighs around 33-36lbs. The girls at the coffee stands absolutely think he is adorable, which is true. I love the jacket and so does he. but what is frustrating is the velcro straps have worn out in about 4 months of heavy use. I do believe thats partly on my end because they really are hard on jackets and harnesses. That said, I wish the jackets included two brass buttons or snaps in additon to the velcro to help prevent snags ripping the straps apart when they play and run in the forest. If you are not going to use this every day, or the dogs are not 2 and 3 years old at the dog park multiple times a week, like mine, I fully recommend this jacket. It is great, it just isn't up to real heavy, rough use for more than a few months. The teeth of the velco just start to pull out over time and then there are not enough left to hold it seccure. I will buy again, but im a little bummed about it. the jacket has a nice patina to it… there should also be an access hole for a harness loop to pass through, but there isn't. I had high hopes for this collar as my older dog has a chronic condition and we are all very tired of his cone bumping into all of us and the whole house, and so is he. But, despite measuring and it appearing to fit exactly as described in the instructions, he had NO TROUBLE getting to the growth on his underside. Complete waste of time and money. He may as well be wearing a sock. We tightened everything to the point of it being uncomfortable for the dog and still he just reaches around like its nothing. Cannot say my dog loves this tool yet but in time I think she will come to be OK with this which is great because I'm stunned at how much fur this got out and instantly vacuumed away. This gate is a nightmare to fit tightly enough to hold up to any leaning on it from curious children. Pushing down hard enough to get it in place knocks it out of place during install. The latch to open it sticks, and if I pull too hard I disengage it entirely instead of it remaining in the "remember my preferred width" position. It feels so bendy I worry pushing in hard enough will damage it. It is absolutely not functional as a gate for a determined, walking child. Its one advantage is it's low enough to easily step over and so we barely have to take it out thank goodness, but this would not be an advantage if we needed a proper barrier for a child older than maybe 2? Luckily we just need a gentle reminder they're not supposed to enter or leave that room without us in tow. Review of PetMeds in general: Fast delivery as promised, very polite and competent phone and computer customer service. Vetsulin: Hard to review a prescription product really but here's my experience: my vet had me try Vetsulin since Humulin did not work on my dog at all (Humulin is more easily available and at that time cheaper though this is probably no longer true#. His blood sugar levels have improved so-so on Vetsulin which is better than nothing on Humulin. We are gradually increasing the dose to see if those can be improved. My vet reminds me that you DO have to shake Vetsulin a little before using. #unlike Humulin which under no circumstances should the bottle be shaken) Caution – I believe I had a big problem for a few days when I accidentally left the bottle out for about 12 hours. You should always always refrigerate! I used it anyway because I was 'broke' and couldn't afford to buy more. My dog became very symptomatic, urinating a lot and stumbling around in an uncoordinated way. When I finally got paid and could buy more, he did get better again. I don't know if the nonrefrigeration just made it lose effectiveness or if it actually 'went bad' but I do not want to risk this again! Anyway, there's hope that we'll find a dose that works. Diabetes is almost completely unknown in Ibizans and there's no hereditary background for him based on info I trust. I don't know why he got it but he had become overweight which was strange since most Ibizans are very light eaters.
The Vetsulin is sent directly from a contracted Vet & appears to be fine. My experience with Vetsulin is this: It saved my dog's life, but is difficult to maintain a steady level. In part by the dog's diabetes and in part by the ability to control their sugar. We've gone from 1.5 units to 4 units in a little over a year for a 10lb dog. I've asked around and it's not completely unusual but it does tend to get really expensive so a lot of people are switching to a competitor. The price here is already inflated but I have a gift card that I need to use so I'll take the hit. It could have been packed better. It comes in the standard large foam cooler but it was not lined, it had 3 ice packs on the bottom and some plastic where a competitor's came fully lined and encapsulated. It's 107 degrees here today so that could be a concern, especially since Petco was unable to give me any legitimate updates (long story that we can't share here but I took it up with customer service to no resolve).DelilahsMama

This vacuum is magical! I have a Husky mix and a Brittany. It’s shedding season right now, and my other vacuum was just making hair balls. I have a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. 1000 sq ft or so I believe. I had two canisters filled to the brim from just my living room, and 2 1/3 from the dogs room. And this was AFTER I used my other vacuum a couple hours before. The tool attachments work amazing as well! I also like that there is a suction meter on the vacuum. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is how stiff the hose is. It doesn’t really extend much without pulling the vacuum over. Bonked myself in the head with the vacuum falling on me a few times from trying to clean the corners with the crevice tool.Sky
I actually really liked this vacuum the first time I used it. My husband and I have a GSD who sheds a lot and has longer hair. We previously used a Shark robot vacuum and a Dyson but were frustrated with constantly needing to empty and the hair getting trapped in the inlet. I purchased this in March 2022 and noticed that it didn't seem to be picking up any hair and found that the belt had broken (presumably) due to hair being trapped in the belt compartment. Not that I had extremely high hopes for this vacuum based on the price point, but I had at least figured that it would last more than 3 months. It would also have been helpful for Bissell to include extra belts in the box if this is a known issue. Would definitely not classify this as a "PET" vacuum which is all over the description and photos (including dogs). I guess it really is true – buy it nice or buy it twice.
I chose this vacuum based upon my previous experience with another Bissell product. A few years ago we sold our house and moved into a motor home to travel the country with our German Shepard ( German Shedder). I gave up my Oreck XL 21for the house and bought a Bissell cordless upright for the motor home. With the " Shedder" , one must vac. daily. The little Bissell never failed to impress me, every use produced another dog in the canister. Once we settled into a home , I still used the cordless to chase dog hair but was looking for a unit with greater hair capacity. That's why I chose a Bissell above any other brand. It fits my need perfectly. I still use the cordless in its detachable hand held feature as a " bug sucker" here in the Midwest as all the crawling critters seek a winter home. My little puggle developed a severe food allergy at an older age, she is now 14. She could no longer keep any food down…nothing! She would either vomit or have liquid diarrhea all day long. She got so severely sick and skinny that we almost had to put her down. My vet suggested hydrolyzed protein food (a different brand), and it worked, for a little while. But then got worse.
