Our dog seems to like the way it feels in his eyes. He is totally blind but he doesn't try to rub it out, as with other drops that veterinarians have prescribed in the past. In fact at morning and night both, he seems to sense when it is time for us to put in his drops. He starts barking at us when it's time and bumps his way into the kitchen, where we usually apply them. If he doesn't need to go outside to pee or whatever, then he simply makes his way peacefully back to his pallet. We put this product in about five minutes after we put in an antibiotic drop. At first I had to mash it and add to the wet food, but I then I tried cutting into tiny pieces (by itself) before the breakfast meal, gradually increasing the size each month. Bebe is one of my Min. PIns, and a show dog. When she was about 8 months old, my sister was taking her to a show in Ca. That morning Bebe, out in the yard got into a nest of ants. I love how versatile this is! I have 3 dogs. My largest being 80lbs and two 10lb dogs. My small Feist breed has developed severe separation anxiety and aggression which has become unsafe and unhealthy for her. To put it simply, I have a nervous wreck of a pitty. I love that this is liquid and super easy to add to her bowl of food. My girl definitely noticed a change and we had to do a super slow introduction with it. We're still not up to the dose she should be at for her weight. After getting a recommendation from the vet, we used this on our dog with very successful results. Tapeworms require a different product. Obviously, your dog should be diagnosed at your vet's office. Then you will know WHAT type of worms your dog has, and what treatment is necessary. It goes without saying that you must READ the directions as well as get instructions from your vet. I find mixing the powder with canned food or a glob of yogurt is all you need to do to get your dog to gobble it up. Weighted my dog and he was 27lbs so correct wight for what I got.. 2 weeks later gave him the second dose just in case. 1 week later still had worms. Then Bought this Safe Guard 4 and gave the 3 packets for body weight like directed. Week after giving him that. Still saw worms. So I took him to the vet to see if maybe it was worms that these 2 dewormers just didn’t treat for. Nope, he had tapeworm and both this one and the Safe Guard 4 supposedly treat for tapeworm. Also, before I started all of this I did treat my home and yard for fleas and our dog so he shouldn’t have kept getting tapeworm from fleas. I am skeptic of reviews when people report glowing results, especially when there are grandiose claims. After consultation with our vet and out of desparation I tried SynoviG3 to help my 4-year old dog, who was having such significant problems with limping and even his leg collapsing that I couldn't even walk him! My 11 year old yorkie developed arthritis in her back knees. She started limping and her entire demeanor changed. I took her to the vet and got her on Rimadyl. It seemed to help very little and after 10 days the vet reported the swelling was still quite severe. I was devastated. Our dog could not take oral flea preventative, as they made her very ill and lethargic. She was then placed on a topical solution, which worked for years before the fleas became immune. For those of you scratching your head wondering why Angel Eyes is no longer working, the news isn't good. I have a Pomapoo and a Bichon and the original wipes worked like a miracle and my four-legged babies had clean eyes always. Then the change happened. The miracle ingredient was removed about three years ago. I have tried many products and nothing works as well for my dogs. I'm glad that some of you still find some various forms of the product to your standards. Currently I use a fragrance free lotion, careful to put just a thin coating on the stain, rubbing it in gently to soften the hard crusty eye secretions and as it softens, gently use a small pet brush or fingers depending what works best for you and your pet. I also make a paste out baking soda and use a childs toothbrush and wash they stains, careful to keep it out of their eyes. Just my two cents. Use at your own discretion. I have been using this on My Maltese for many years, used to have antibiotic in it which I believed was the active ingredient that was working, and you had to get it from the U.S. Due to U.K. laws on this without prescription. The new version easily available in he U.K. is now just as affective and you can see it start to dry up the runny eyes in about 5 days of starting it. Keep using it until has totally dried the eyes and you don't need to keep using it. one level mustard spoon size amount on there dinner or on the tongue. I have been told pink staining is a fungal infection that can spread from eye to the mouth causing the whole face to be pink or black stained. My precious 15 yr old boy has canine cognitive dysfunction, and the vet recommended this food back in May. He has now been on it 2 months, and I was hoping to see more improvement. Essentially I've seen minimal. He doesn't go to the hinged side of the door anymore but there are still many days of pacing, getting stuck in various places, restless nights. Sadie is getting older and started having bladder problems while she was sleeping. Our veterinarian prescribed Proin to help with the problem. We started with one 50mg pill twice a day at meal time and while it fixed the bladder problem it changed her attitude making her anxious. So the veterinarian said go to half a pill, twice a day. We did but continued to have the same side effects. So we went to 1/4 of a pill twice a day at meal time and are having good success. Her good attitude is back and her bladder problems seem fixed. No more wet spots on the floor and no more wet tail. The veterinarian says we may need to increase the dosage later as she gets older but the problem is fixed for now. My older dog started drinking more water and lost some weight so the vet recommended we try the g/d formula. I'm sure the formula will help, but the kibble is too large for Ollie to chew. He had several teeth out last year and while he has a voracious appetite this is the first time I have had issues with him eating. I have cut this dry food up and mix a few green beans and peas with it to get him to eat it. It would be helpful to have a small dog formula or just make the kibble half the size. Prescribed for our 7 lb chihuahua with kidney disease. The chunks are huge for him as this does not come in a mimi size, and he has bad teeth which they wont fix due to his health. So I ended up soaking the food in warm water ( about 15 minutes) until I can break it up with a fork. He wont eat it alone so after trial n error I figured out if I add a teaspoon or more of Casar soft food and add a small amount of water to mix it REALLY well, he will eat it. If I dont mix it well, he hunts through and picks out the Casar and walks away. The nibbles swell up quite a bit so I give half in am and half in pm. At my vet's directive, I started my Shih Tzu mix on the g/d 6 months ago. I decided to get the canned and dry to strike a balance, and to give her something to crunch. She is almost two, so I felt the dry would be good for her teeth. I had no idea the kibble would be so large! I have had two other small dogs on k/d and i/d in the past, and the dry was appropriately sized. I have had to wet and smash the g/d dry, otherwise she picks them out of dish, drops on floor and tries to eat later, but with another dog in house I can't risk it. First time trying this out for my dog. So Far he enjoys eating these Vetriscience Clear & Bright Chews. He always looks for them before he actually eats his food. I'm glad he isn't picky. I like that it says it's good for the eyes. So far I see a slight difference in his eyes. My dog tends to have a lot of eye goo but probably because he has seasonal allergies. We actually have the senior advanced bites but j didn’t see them available to review. Our pooch seems to love them. We have used the one in the envelope a few times and that led us to purchase the bigger tub size. although we can’t physically see a difference I have no doubt they seem to be working and apparently are tasty. They seem to be pricey for 90 count but if you give one a day that is about $12 or so a month which is extremely reasonable to me! I have a black lab that has really sensitive skin. A few months ago he chewed his tail until it was a raw bloody mess. I picked this up at PetSmart and applied it twice that day. I truly am impressed with how well this product works. My dog recently dug a hole in our backyard and cut her paw on some wood chips.
