Purchased this to store bird seed in. Lid and hinges are very flimsy. Latch for lid barely holds on. Lid also had a large line scored in the top where someone ran a box cutter on it. Not TS store though. They opened it in feont of me and it came from the warehouse luke that. I do not expect this to last very long. I bought this a month ago and am very disappointed. When it first arrived it had a very strong, almost chemical odor. I thought that would dissipate once it was out of the package for a day or so. It has been a few weeks now and the odor is still there. I have scrubbed it with detergent, outdoor hosed rinsed it thoroughly then sun dried it twice, sprayed it with Febreze Fabric odor eliminator multiple times, and have kept it on a screened in porch both in and out of the sun for weeks. The odor persists and is so bad you can almost taste it. This is too bad because it is a nice basket for our dog's toys. I will not put her toys in it – I will unfortunately have to write it off as a bad purchase and would definitely NOT recommend it. There were no other online reviews for me to look at. I tested this container by putting a very small amount of water in it and turning it upside down and the water leaked. I contacted the manufacturer who sent me a new gasket set, which did not solve the problem. I believe this is a design flaw. Do not buy this product if you want to make sure your dog's food stays fresh. I am trying the Gamma Vittles Vaults next. With a screw on lid, I believe those containers will be air tight. I like this product because of its usefulness and size. It might seem small but it can fit a lot. The amount of the food can fit the container depends on the size of the cat food pebbles. My usual cat food bag is 15lbs and the small size container fits almost the whole bag. Some of the leftover can be finish up by my two cats in about a week or it can fit inside a small container. This is really cool but the cheapest quality… the lid does not "fit" in the space securely/at all, it rests against it at an opposing angle to the upper edge… will be difficult to keep in place while my toddler is painting on it. The clip is stationary and does not open to put paper under, you have to lift very hard to slide paper under… There are no hinges for the lid… which might have helped with my first complaint of the door not being secured during usage. The upper trays could be larger, and fit better, maybe have a groove that theu snap into? Alot of wasted space on top, but will be able to replace them with something better. We bought these for cat and dog food. The fact they stacked was perfect for our apartment. Unfortunately, when we stacked one on top of the other, the bottom one got crushed and is now broken and bent in. The animals still can't get in them, and I like the locking easily accessible door. I bought three of these bins to store animal feed outside. I love that they are large and EASILY hold a 50-pound bag of feed. IF you close them properly, water does not seem to get in them. I'd still store them inside or under an awning if possible, these are not leak-proof or waterproof. There is a little latch on top where you can put a lock or carabiner through to secure the door, I love this feature. These do stack, however they don't stack WELL. The holes on top could have been made a little deeper for more stable stacking, to be honest. One of my bins already has a crack in it just from it falling off of another bin onto the grass. So these are not durable. They do their job but on a farm I do expect things to hold up a little better. We have been unable to return them yet due to being quarantined, and tonight I discovered that because the collapsing caused the door not to close completely, our cat food had been infested with meal moths. Has a very large sticker on the front of the bin that won't come off no matter what I do. Makes the brand new container unsightly!! I paid $22 for a DIY project trying to remove this sticker and stubborn residue and will probably end up with a brand new discolored and/or scratched container from trying to get this stupid sticker off. Overall quality is very good. Wheels roll nice and smooth. Only ‘problem’ is the hinges are not always fully assembled. When I closed the lid one hinge pin broke because it wasn’t in all the way. So this product is great. I own rabbits. I do not know if you know: but rabbit stuff is best bought in bulk. I have bulk hay, bulk bunny chow, bulk pet bedding,Bulk rabbit treats. Perfect for stacking, I have one for each type.The lid has a small airtight strip around the top to keep the contents fresh.The "chrome" lid is silver-grey plastic, not really chrome, but that should not deter you. Its a fine lid. The included scoop is sturdy and works great.I do not put wheels on anything in my home, because we have tile and laminate everywhere, but the included wheels look solid. We have three little dogs that eat a lot of kibble. This is a nice food storage bin for them. It is made if very hard plastic with a good clamping down lid, also made of hard plastic. It keeps their food fresher than just keeping it in the bag as I had been doing. It will hold a good size bag of food. Also on top is another bin which I have placed all of their harnesses and leashes. It is great to have them all in one place for when they are needed. The large bin has a food scoop for dishing it up. There are wheels you can put on the bin if you so desire, but for my three they kept pushing it around on the wheels so we had to take them off.gloriab82

This is exactly what I was looking for; I can mix two 12 pound bags of cat food in it at one time. Prior to this I mixed smaller amounts of food in large paper bags and then transferred it to several plastic canisters. The wheels allow me to easily roll the tote forward just far enough to scoop food out without pulling the entire unit out of a narrow lower cupboard. The lid closes securely. Good purchase.Karin
I like the two containers. I do not move them around much so the fact that the top one just sits on top of the bottom is fine. I was hoping that it really would hold large bags of dog food. I get 50lb bags though and it does not hold it all. Besides that, great product for the price!anastasia700
