All-Absorb Training Pads These super absorbent training pads came in a package of 40 pads measuring 28×34. The extra-large size is a great size for even the smallest pets. I have used many different brands of puppy pads, some good and some not so good, I can say this brand was very good. I found that they are, or have been so far leak proof and as claimed dry rather quickly. I have not noticed any smell so the odor neutralizer must be working. I have used these pads for my elderly dog as well as line the cat carriers for the visit to the vet which have been a life saver for my nervous cat. To me these pads for not just for puppies and dogs, I have also used these in the car to place a cooler on so when the items are taken out there are not spills or stains. I am reviewing these All-Absorb regular training pads that I have used several times for my fur baby. These are much larger and more absorbent than what I have been purchasing. The size is large enough to trap urine. They are thicker as well. The measurements are 28"x34". My Yorkie has been pad-trained for many years. I find that these pads are leak proof, quick drying, odor neutralizer, and puppy attractant. They come with a 40 count X-Large in the package I am reviewing.These are great for training new puppies. I received the 28 x 34 size training pads. This size pad will certainly cover a large area. It seems to be made very well. There's the back sheet which is plastic, and the top sheet is nicely padded to soak up messes. And I don't smell anything, but there must be some scent because it got my dog's attention, so it's nice that it's not noticeable to people, or at least me. And I'll be honest, and say that I did not want these for puppy training, although I would certainly purchase them for that if I did need that type of product, simply because they are well made and would obviously work. But I wanted these because I have an older female dog, and in her later years, she leaks sometimes. She doesn't potty in the house, but she had minor accidents. This 28 x 34 size is ideal to put on top of her loveseat (her bed) and she has no problem laying on it. So this is actually a multi-use product, and perfect for both training pups and helping out the older ones, too. Definitely 5 stars from me.Laura

They’re absorbent and comparable to the other brands. They are scented, which cuts the odors. I had purchased potty pads from another company, that has carbonized layers that didn’t work for my pup. She’s chewing on everything, and the materials in them swells like the pads that are at the bottom of raw meat. I had to watch her closely until she voided bc of the risk of it swelling in her abdomen. These pads, tho, don’t do that. Not worth it. I bought 3 packs of these because I have a puppy who is still learning to potty outside. The first time I put one down she peed on it and it was like there was nothing down. It went right through and leaked all over the floor as I tried to put it in the garbage. I am not doubling them up. Still not much of a difference, but it’s better than nothing right now. These are not absorbent at all puppy peed on it and it not only went off of it but straight through it. I then doubled layered and one puppy pee still went through both pads to the floor. When I picked them up the pee just dripped out everywhere. These are the worst pads I have ever encountered. These are the best pads I’ve used so far. I’ve tried them all: charcoal activated, huge ones, small ones, blue ones, green ones…. Everything. My cat has special needs as she is older and doesn’t like the feel of litter in her paws due to arthritis. So we line her litter boxes with these and she uses them happily. These smell nice when you put them out initially and the smell dissipates after a little bit. So the smell isn’t overwhelming. It also hasnt deterred my pet from using them. They’re very absorbent and they’ve never failed me in that sense. They certainly hold lots of urine. But as soon as they’re soiled, they do not mask the smell of urine or feces fully. They help, but they’re not magic after all. We change them out as soon as she uses them and would recommend it for anyone using them for puppy training. However, since walking on the urine will wet their paws and then move the peepee paw marks wherever else they go, as far as “transfer” goes, they’re not 100%. If our girl pees and it catches her back paws, they do get a little wet with pee and we have to wash her little pawpaws. So that’s something to consider.Celeste

This day I accidentally bought the purple lavender scented ones. I figured if anything my living room will have the added pleasure of smelling great. Well then. My 3 adorable ferrets decided that this scent brought them back to the memories of their ancestors and decided to dig up these new pads as if they had a mission to generate a warp-hole to lavender fields of old. Sensing this could be a problem I took the duct tape approach. Lets tape these suckers into the cage so they can be dug up no more! Eureka! Well, no. The story only really begins here. Then one of them actually used the pad. I mean, well how much could a little carpet shark or three really pee right? Upon the first usage of this lavender scented pad my babies cage was covered in a flood like in the days of Noah! I think they released the Kraken! I had synchronize swimmers on my hands. This just did not work. After calling a clean up crew I decided that it just might be best to return to Walmart to pick up a package of the blue lined pads after all, as who could deal with all this on the daily. I keep my Welsh Terrier in most of the hotter season in TX due to the horrible chigger bites. My poor little terrier gets eaten up by them and I have repelled and repelled; nothing has worked thus far. I bought these pads at Walmart.com and did store pickup because I needed pads. I decided to try these supposedly 2x more absorbant with Pro Grip Technology. EVERY time my puppy pees if its NOT in the middle of the pad, it leaks everywhere! I am so upset! Carpets are ruined, will NEVER recommend or buy again! I like these pads primarily for their large size and high absorbency. I have a senior female Labrador Retriever who expels a significant amount of liquid waste when she empties her bladder. It’s a good potty pad for my 10lb pup. It definitely meets my expectations for a pad. At this price, you would think you’d get the bare minimum, but each pad has four sticky pads on the underside (one on each corner) so the pad won’t slip once set down at its intended location. The only hold up is that it does not stick to carpet as well as it sticks to harder surfaces (like hardwood or tile), but this caveat is negligible. I would recommend this product!irene.p
Yes you will save money when buying these. Yes they hold about 2 cups of liquid. However they are slow to absorb. I had been using Nature's Miracle scented pads for a few months before deciding to try another cheaper product. I chose this one, and wish I hadn't. My small cat, about 8lbs will start peeing on this and then half way through urinating it will start to spread and get her feet wet. Which means when she gets off the pad the next 4 steps leave wet spots of her urine. Nature's Miracle doesn't hold 2 cups, but it absorbs much faster and locks in the liquid better than this brand.teresa.r

I have a pad down every day-night for my 8yr old dog. He is paper trained and is house Brock. But he does use the pad as well. He has had a pad ever since he was born. I’m not going to spend more money for a pad that smells like lavender anymore. This pad is less money and does everything the others do but smell like flowers, it sucks up the urine much faster and hold better than the others. This does cover the smell, but they didn’t add flowers or anything else. I’m telling you this is much better than the more expensive ones that you pay for to smell flowers. If you want flowers and save money, buy these pads, get a vase and keep flowers in them.Laura

Bought these for my 8 month old Chocolate Lab puppy who only weighs 45 lbs, expected these to work as they should, very thin, would work for a small dog/puppy but not for bigger dogs/pups. My puppy goes out most of the time to potty, the only time pads are used are over night or while she is home alone and they are took up after 24 hrs of being down so they are barely used, yet pee did bleed threw to floor. Will not recommend for bigger dogs or pups but these are a decent size, would recommend for smaller dogs/puppies and cats.Abby

i have been buying these pad for nearly 2 years and found they were the best pads for the money. yes I had leaks because my dog didn't get her fanny over far enough on the paper. i have been paying 49.99 for 300 pads, however the company has recently decided to reduce the quantity to 150 pads but the price remains the same. I will NOT be buying these pad at a quantity reduction but not price reduction. I have gone elsewhere.
If I could give it a lower rating I would, the product I received was completely different from the picture and no company name so I can't even verify if its the same product. I already use the Procure pads/chux and know the feel of it. The pads I received were yellow, cheap quality/plasticy, and basically doesn't absorb but repel water/excrement instead. Very disappointing. I don't usually shop at Walmart (or ever) and this just adds onto the reason why. Obviously, I'm not going through the trouble attempting to return this. Still functional, but will be more work and more waste to use.wendy
These training pads work great. I read some of the negative reviews and don't understand their problem. I have two pits that are about 50-55 lbs each and i have had no problem with overages. I have used several different brands and haven't found one any thicker that these. One of the things i really like about this product is the cost. I was spending about $5 less than these on amazon and only getting 1/3 of the quantity. I also really appreciate this company and their swiftness in getting their product out the door. I usally get the pads 2-3 days ahead of schedule. I also read a review about someone that had a hard time opening the pads. I found that if my hands are slightly damp they grip the sides of the pad better and its easier to open. just a thought if you are having trouble opening them up. I would recommend this product. They are the best buy for the money.haley582

These are great puppy / dog pads and I’ve used them for many years. I found them when Sams stopped carrying certain ones. They are pretty thick and don’t easily rip (like ones I tried from Petco – very thin and ripped easily). But the price increase is a bit much. A $6 jump?! Come on Target – people are struggling to keep their pets due to costs, shelters are over flowing with surrenders. Don’t make another necessity more expensive when nothing has been added / changed to the product to make it better or worth the new price.Luna6
These are fantastic! I line my garage floor with these like a runway for doggy duty. I found it more space and cost efficient to use the XL size rather than size large for my two chihuahuas. I clean up after them daily and change out the pads weekly depending on how often they use them. They go outside on nice days but if it's raining or too cold, they will use these in the garage. These pads do not adhere to anything so the best thing to do (especially in the garage ) is to use small chunks of brick or landscaping scallop to weigh them down to keep the wind from flipping the edges over. I overlap several ones, with the top edge facing away from the garage opening. It's worked wonders. These are very effective with holding the urine and do not leak. These are great quality for the money, great value. I'm now upsizing to XXL to see if that's the size I want. I'm combining sizes depending on where they're placed in the garage.AnnV
I definitely liked the XL size of these pads. Having bought another store brand previously, and being very unhappy with that purchase, I was skeptical to try these. But, I am really glad that I did! These are far more leak proof than the other store brand. While I’d have to agree with some of the other reviewers that they don’t seem very thick and absorbent, the backing does do a good job of keeping the floor underneath clean and dry. I'm about half way through my large bag which was the only size they had at my store, but will definitely purchase these again. My only suggestion would be to add some sort of odor blocker. Otherwise, I would definitely itely recommend these.RobinH
