This has been the best pfd for our Catahoula Leopard. It has survived a full summer of kayaking, swimming, and running through the tall grass and brush along the shoreline…and it still looks and works like it did the first time we put it on her. There is a ‚ÄúD‚Äù ring to attach a leash on the top so there is no need for a harness. The top handle is very thick and is incredibly useful if you need to pull your dog out of the water without fear of hurting or causing your dog discomfort. It was and still is easy to adjust to fit her frame (barrel chest- like a pit bull) and narrow waist. The instructional video for fitting the pfd to your dog provided by Ruffwear was a HUGE bonus. When our dog doesn‚Äôt wear the pfd she only goes into the water where her feet touch. When she is wearing the pfd, she automatically transitions to paddling in deeper water because her head is always above the water. This is a wonderful hoodie and indeed is very soft inside. My Kaya loves it so much that she wants to wear it to sleep at night. I like a number of things about it, with the softness being one, it washes very well (a very small amount of shrinkage, but not enough that it won't still fit well), love the leash hole on the back, and it covers her well in cold weather. I purchased a size Xlarge for my poodle (12" neck, 13" back length, 18" chest) because I wanted a 'generous' fit. She wears it over her snowsuits when it is very cold (zero and below) and wears it on it's own above 35 degrees or so. The Vibrant Life Pet Kennel came in a box unassembled. It took 5 minutes to put it together. The top section plastic feels a bit flimsy, but the bottom portion seems to easily hold the weight of 15 pounds. It is roomy for a small dog and provides a safe space and easy transport. The top looks like it has compartments which would be nice to store paperwork and a leash, but these do not open. I believe this is a missed opportunity to add a convenient and needed feature. We ordered this to give our old girl something to keep a growth under her chest from wobbling while she walks, and to keep her warm as she ages. At 13, she still has the need to walk. This is a nice snug fit, just barely fits over her long legs while putting it on, but as it stretches out a bit, its getting easier. She doesn't object to now after the first walk on a cold day. Very nice carriage, I should give it a three-star rating instead of four because of the wheels they are 6-in wheels but the tires are very thin plastic. not good unless you're on the very hard surface for me to get to a high surface I have to walk three yards into some gravel and those tires compared to the tires of my other pet carriage are really terrible. very satisfied with the carriage the roominess the handy storage bag and water bottle holder. The bottom pad is comfy for pets. it's really too bad to make such a nice stroller and ruin it by putting awful wheels.Sunshine1944
Love it!its literally changed my life!I can now go places and not have the worry of what to do with my dogs.They love it too cause get to go with mom.I have 3chihuahuas and there is plenty of room for them all.it goes on gravel and concrete no problem and even have cup holders.Has lock brakes so wont roll away and option to shade them with cover down or they can see out mesh window when up.Just love itErinm

Loved this stroller for my little Chica. 5 lbs. She lived to look out the mesh windows. It is a little hard to store things in the bottom though. You must lift up the top to retrieve items. Kind of inconvenient. Otherwise it is really fun to push my little girl around. With hip and knee problems on her and shoulder problems for me this stroller makes our senior years much easier.Kathy
The stroller required some very minor assembly. The wheels had to be attached to the stroller, but quickly and easily snapped into place. Once the wheels were attached, all that was left to do was to unfold the stroller and to secure the part where the pet(s) would be riding. That was done by pulling the flap that runs along the front and sides of the stroller over the bar and snapping it into place. The drink holder, which attaches to the handle, also just snaps into place. The small "basket" on the bottom also has a flap that has to be pulled over a bar and snapped into place. That's all the assembly the stroller required. There was no need for any kind of tool. Two of my cats tooks turns in the stroller and were both able to sit and lay down in it without being cramped and both looked really comfortable in it. Sitting up, they could probably both sit side by side comfortably in the stroller. One cat is approx. 11 lbs and the other is approx. 16 lbs. The stroller handles easily on hardwood, but is slightly more challenging on carpet. Going around corners and turning around was fairly easy. Lastly, the color is a slightly darker purple / lavendar than it appears in the picture. I don't know how well it works outside or when it's been exposed to the elements, since it only just arrived a little while ago, but it seems sturdy enough at the time of this review.
