My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I have a mare who has super sensitive skin. She was out to pasture in the spring and before I could notice the gnats got to her belly and it was bad. My German Shepard had recurrent ear infections for over a year. At first it was once a month, then twice, and it ended up with painful inflammations every week with pus discharges and bad smell. That was terrible, nothing helped, antibiotics prescribed by vet stopped the process for some days, but afterwards everything was back again, and internal antibiotics made my dog weak. Then we found out that this was not a bacterial infection, it was fungi! But we could not find any efficient remedies against it. We used oregano oil and similar herbs internally, but they helped also only for a while. Then I found out information about Zymox and ordered it, that was our last hope. The first time I cleaned my dogs ears with Zymox, it smelled awfully. The next day the smell was not so bad, and after some other days there were no smell at all… We used it as indicated, 14 days, but already after 7 days my dog recovered. It is 10 months from then now, and there is no more any sign of ear problems…. I am SO grateful that someone has developed such an efficient product and there is a possibility to order it from abroad. I can't imagine where we would be now if there were no Zymox….Helen

My poodle has a lot of ear hair that needs to be cleaned often. In between baths, the smell can get kinda funky. Used this ear rinse to see if it would help and it does. It keeps the waxy smell away longer but it's not mask any existing smells. It's easy enough to use and my dog doesn't seem to mind it too much. I would definitely keep using this product since it keeps the freshness in between baths and if it helps prevent ear infections. Thanks to all the reviews I thought I’d give this a go. My dog Einstein had another vascular tumor removed (2nd time, same place) on his inner front left upper leg. The Vet has to leave it open w/no sutures since he had to remove much more around the margins & go deeper so hopefully it won’t come back again so it had to heal as a huge open wound. It was kind of gross. Since he loves to be outside most of the time I wanted to keep it clean & not get infected so I ordered this & how thrilled I am with this product! The product is "heavy water" which is a weak acid, and it seemed to be helping (ringworm) and causing no skin irritation for my dog, but alas the 8oz bottle ran out too soon – I should've bought at least 16oz. I bought this product Saturday and used it Sunday on my mare since she got her foot stuck in the fence and she pull it out and ripped off the hid of her ankle right above the coronary band. Found this ear rinse for dogs at Walmart by Pet Armor brand. It's priced very reasonably at under five dollars tax an all so it's affordable for most pet parents. We had no choice but to find a safe ear cleaning solution bc our dogs are pitty's with unclipped ears so they're prone to dirt/wounds. This solution seemed to work very well without causing further irritation. After rinsing, wiping out, and cleaning his ears we've noticed a huge decline in his head shaking/scratching so I'd say it's definitely a great pet parent item to have on hand!megan.p
I have a West Highland White Terrier and he has had ear infections practically from day one. I have probably spent thousands of dollars taking him to different vets and buying prescriptions that they prescribed. We have some dogs with big floppy ears. They also love to roll in the mud and dirt. So, as you can imagine, that can make for some disgusting ears. Growing up around horses I learned that there is always a scratch, bite, burn, scar, or some type of "spot" that needs a little ointment. I was told by our vet. Just fill the ear canal and then let the dog shake her head. This will prevent using a cleaning implement and possibly pushing the dirt and unwanted debris down into the ear canal. It's painless for my girl Kylie. I have an English Cocker, with long heavy ears. She is prone to ear infections. My vet recommended this product. I put it into both ear canals, and then rub the top of the ears for 30 seconds, making sure I get that wet, squishy sound. I do it three times a week, and she has not had an ear infection for 2 years! The only negative is that it has a little bit of a chemical/perfume smell while it is still wet. As soon as it dries, there is no smell. When the house is cold, I put the container in the microwave for about 5 seconds. It's much more pleasant for her to have warm solution going into her ears.Joan

Delivered in two days. This product seems to be working as advertised. My Great Pyrenees had a yeast infection in her left ear. I tried other products but they didn't help. My Lab/Weimaraner has the biggest floppiest most beautiful soft and silky ears in the world. When he shakes his head they flap sheets on the clothesline on a windy day. But they were itchy and smelly and he had gotten sores on the tips of them from flapping them into things, He was miserable, I was miserable. Ordered this product after doing research online for what I was SURE was an ear infection in our American bulldog, but was hesitant to get another large vet bill after a recent eye injury that left us $500 in the hole. It should come as little surprise that any cat is going to hate having a liquid put in their ears. My cat hated her very expensive prescription medication that never did fully eradicate her ear mites, so I didn't expect her to feel differently about this product. It's too early to say with 100% confidence that this is going to knock out the now only slight, but persistent ear mite problem she seems to have, but so far, so good (3 days of applications). The only tricky thing is remembering which ear I got on each application because there is no way on earth that I can get her to let me do both ears at once. If this knocks it out, then the price point, as well as the ingredient list, totally have me sold. Much better than what I was spending at the vet! My 5 year old American Bulldog is white and has very sensitive skin. He plays and works hard. Since he was a puppy he's been prone to skin issues especially under his belly. Mites are a big problem where I live and can really cause him problems. Ive found that this shampoo as a supplement to his regular shampoo gets rid of these skin irritations. If you want sulfur in your shampoo, this is the stuff. My dog has some mange on the underside from laying in the grass I guess. He's only on the lawn when I'm out with him, no walk in the woods, etc. This seems to be getting rid of it. I am also using a 10% ointment rubbing on the two areas. After two weeks, the scoptic scabies are almost gone. I tried neem oil and the other home stuff, but nothing worked like this shampoo and the 10% ointment.
