About 6 months ago, my cat, who has feline leukemia, stopped eating, was constantly vomiting, sleeping, and cringed whenever I touched her. If he walks gingerly, it's not usually a problem, but if something catches his eye and he runs, mud is caked in his paws and nails. This previous method was to have a towel by the door, have him lie down, dig the chunks out of his paws them throw him in the bathtub. He didn't love that method so it took a lot of time. Now, with this, I fill it about 3/4 with warm water and go out tothe deck when he's ready to come in. I ask for each of his paws, he obliges, I rinse and turn for a few seconds each, and then hand him walk across a towel to come in the house to take off the excess water. I got the small 1.5oz pawtector. I don't know what I was thinking by getting the small one (would be great for a small dog or on the go), but it has helped relieve and protect my golden retrievers paws from the blazing sidewalks in the summertime. I was pleasantly surprised by this! Our yard is not landscaped at our new house yet which means Murphy comes in after it rains with paws caked in mud. Wiping with towels alone wasn't doing the trick, so we tried this. It works well! Depending on how muddy your pup's paws are, you may need to use it a couple times and change out the water, but it definitely works! I was surprised that Murph tolerated it as well as he did, as he hates his paws being touched. Surprisingly, he warmed up to this really well! My only problem is that it's very easy to knock over when you set it down to wipe off soaked paws… I wish the bottom was flared out more so it's more stable for washing and just setting down in general. It's been knocked over so many times while I've been drawing off his paws and then dirty water goes everywhere… not fun. Here in the Las Vegas desert my dog licks his paws constantly because it’s so dry. I figured I would try out this product to see how it works and it works like a charm. My dog broke his back just behind his front legs. We opted for home care and eventually chiropractic. The chiropractor recommended Pain Plus. My Jack doesn't mind taking them…BUT…he chooses the dosage! When I see him being stiff I offer a whole one and if he doesn't take it, I break it in half and offer him half. My dog is a rescue, approx. 13 years old & 68 lbs. He has been with us for 10 1/2 years. About two years ago he was diagnosed with Wobblers syndrome. Our dog twice got foxtail seeds in his paws which lead to serious infections. He missed a hunting trip and the second time his paw was huge with the infection and had to be lanced. Poor fella. I found Musher's Secret online and took a chance. He never got another seed or infection in his paws. We've now have two small dogs who are having a hard time this winter on the snow and ice. Both of them come inside from going out for 2-3 minutes (I set a timer.) limping with ice crusted on their paws. I'm sure Musher's Secret is going to take care of this problem. We use Quiet Moments for an 80 lb Catahoula Leopard dog. Prescription meds from the vet made her aggressive so we tried Quiet Moments. We only give her at most 1 tablet at a time, far lower then the recommended dose on the bottle for her weight, and it works wonderfully through thunderstorms or a night of fireworks. I initially thought this was just a gimmicky product, something that you don’t really need. Was I ever wrong! I have a German shepherd at home, and our backyard is mostly mud right now. The mud manages to get into every crevice of his paws, but this makes it so much easier to clean! He’s not a fan, but he’ll still do it. I love this thing! My 115lb pitbull hates mud and tries to avoid muddy spots in general but my yard gets minimal sun so the mud is everywhere. If he walks gingerly, it's not usually a problem, but if something catches his eye and he runs, mud is caked in his paws and nails. This previous method was to have a towel by the door, have him lie down, dig the chunks out of his paws them throw him in the bathtub. He didn't love that method so it took a lot of time. Now, with this, I fill it about 3/4 with warm water and go out tothe deck when he's ready to come in. I ask for each of his paws, he obliges, I rinse and turn for a few seconds each, and then hand him walk across a towel to come in the house to take off the excess water.
