Bought a couple weeks back hoping to help with terrier/chi/corgi mix who accumulates massive amounts of buildup in her fur on the lower part of her eyes. The problem is, she has to eat it first and she refuses. Even when we've coated it with bacon grease or something she likes. This is a common issue with she and her brother. As my dog has only been on Angel Eyes for less than 3 weeks it is hard for me, at this time, to review this product. For those of you scratching your head wondering why Angel Eyes is no longer working, the news isn't good. I have a Pomapoo and a Bichon and the original wipes worked like a miracle and my four-legged babies had clean eyes always. Then the change happened. The miracle ingredient was removed about three years ago. I have tried many products and nothing works as well for my dogs. I'm glad that some of you still find some various forms of the product to your standards. Currently I use a fragrance free lotion, careful to put just a thin coating on the stain, rubbing it in gently to soften the hard crusty eye secretions and as it softens, gently use a small pet brush or fingers depending what works best for you and your pet. I have been using this on My Maltese for many years, used to have antibiotic in it which I believed was the active ingredient that was working, and you had to get it from the U.S. Due to U.K. laws on this without prescription. The new version easily available in he U.K. is now just as affective and you can see it start to dry up the runny eyes in about 5 days of starting it. I received this product in exchange for a fair and honest review. At first I had to get past the smell but my frenchie loves them. The treats themselves are a nice size. They are a bit on the crumbly side. When he ate them he left plenty of crumbs on the floor which my Aussie gladly cleaned up. I think these would be better crumbled up and mixed in food rather than given as single treats. I gave these treats to my frenchie over a three week period. I can report that I did not see a significant reduction in the tear stains but I appreciated the knowledge that my bulldog was getting the added benefit of antioxidant & immunity support.
This product is great. My pup has issues with dry eyes and the skin around his eyes gets dry. He also gets buildup in the area near his tear duct. I got him this since I already trust the brand from using their other products. I followed directions provided for just over ten days. By the fifth day I noticed the ridges around his eyes look moister. He was not blinking as much, and his tear ducts did not have dry buildup. This is the second Tear Stain Remover I have tried on my pup. I'm just beginning to think that his tear stains will never go away completely so his face is beautifully white like it should be. I honestly don't think it's the products fault, he just tears up a LOT right now, I think due to the heat of summer and he literally sweats (as I'm sure other English Bulldogs do?). I have two Pomeranians, One Tan colored, One Black colored, I have one very old Chihuahua mix breed, black/grey and two guest dog both Huskies one is an adult Husky and one is only a puppy of a couple of month. The first I noticed when I opened this bottle of tear stain remover the scent was very strong. I am not sure if it was the Lemongrass Oil I smelled or the combination of the Lemongrass Oil and the Lavender. The ingredients according to the bottle are; Purified water, Biodegradable Surfactant Blend, Lemongrass Oil, Lavender Oil, Garlic Extract, Tea Tree Oil, Hydrogen Peroxide, Paraben Free Preservative. The direction are not very clear. The instruction say to use a capful the problem is the bottle does not come with a cap it comes with a twist or turn cap. So all you really have to do is tur the cap open and then pour a little on a cotton ball and if you do not have any you can use a soft cloth or use a small gauze. Then just slowly rub the area from the eyes. Make sure before you pour the stain remover that you shake the bottle really good with the lid closed. After you have used this stain remover you dry the area with a soft towel or wash cloth. In the beginning you will need to use this daily but after you have removed the staining you can start using this weekly. Also if you have white or tan dogs and you have stubborn stains on their paws you might want to try this after they come in from the mud and you can not get every thing off with just a quick rinse, This does seem to work for my tan Pomeranian when she comes in from running in the back yard in the mud and I can not get her paws clean all the stains. With so many dogs we do regular grooming but not every week like I know some Pomeranian owners are able to do. Angel Eyes wont help the existing stains but it does prevents stains. Nothing was working for my Maltese even after researching products and methods. Ive learned all you need to do is keep applying It daily. In time youll see the white grow out. Cut off the older stained fur. This new formula doesn't work. I ordered this product 4 times, including one order where I got a special promotion package with 3 bottles. They all worked perfectly. The last two had not work at all. I thought it was the new one call natural so after getting a refund for it I went ahead and ordered the plus beef because that worked in the past. It didn't work either. I'm not ordering this again unless they go back to the old formula.

For those of you scratching your head wondering why Angel Eyes is no longer working, the news isn't good. I have a Pomapoo and a Bichon and the original wipes worked like a miracle and my four-legged babies had clean eyes always. Then the change happened. The miracle ingredient was removed about three years ago. I have tried many products and nothing works as well for my dogs. I'm glad that some of you still find some various forms of the product to your standards. Currently I use a fragrance free lotion, careful to put just a thin coating on the stain, rubbing it in gently to soften the hard crusty eye secretions and as it softens, gently use a small pet brush or fingers depending what works best for you and your pet. I also make a paste out baking soda and use a childs toothbrush and wash they stains, careful to keep it out of their eyes. Just my two cents. Use at your own discretion.
