I decided to try Quiet Moments because I was having difficulty finding the brand recommended by my veterinarian. My elderly Dachshund was having anxiety issues, so had looked for something "non-chemical" to treat her with if at all possible. I'm cautiously pleased after using it for three weeks now. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. She seems much more comfortable after her baths and I love how clean it gets all my dogs. Its very easy to lather up and it rinses clean. The smell is great if youre into fruity…if you dont like fruity itd be best to skip this one. Good dog shampoo is really hard to find but I really like this one. It is a little bit pricey but the bottle is a good size. The only way I would improve this product is making it a little cheaper or affordable. My dogs and I love this very much. I love the whole line, but lately, my dog has been suffering from allergies, so I switched to this one. It smells amazing, which I love, but more importantly, it's definitely helping with her skin irritations from her allergies. She doesn't scratch even half as much as before. Best thing, since sliced bread ! Like many other people I hesitated a long time to make the purchase due to the cost and could have saved myself a lot of sleepless nights if I bought this sooner. My neighbour has a German Shepard and another big dog. Their favourite time (although not the only time) is to bark through the night in close proximity to our bedroom window. Both dogs are untrained and the owners don't care about the nuisance their dogs are causing. The German Shepard's barking improved within a day. The other dog is older and still barks, but less and now goes to the other side of their property where the barking is not causing such a nuisance. We have mounted the device on our TV antenna on top of our roof due to the neighbour's property being higher than ours and will raise it more, which may perhaps help sort out the barking on the other side of the house as well. When the dogs are out of reach of the bark pick-up zone, I simply push the remote, which works great from almost my whole house. The remote and I are now inseparable when I am home. So far this thing is a lifesaver. I WILL say, we live on a city block, where about 6 yards converge in one area, with lots of fences between. We mounted ours from a 2nd story-patio pointing down into an adjacent yard where two VERY territorial dogs reside in the backyard. The owners let them randomly run in and out for every little noise they year through the doggy-door to bark for HOURS. The device is quite sensitive, I have to keep it turned down almost as low as possible so it doesn't go off randomly (in audible mode), for every little sound it picks up. But it does go off for the dogs, and it does seem to work on them because they'll immediately whine after 3 barks and then circle the backyard before heading back indoors. No more barking at every single neighbor for simply opening a door, or LOOKING OUT A WINDOW DOWN AT THEM, or even seeing a silhouette behind A CLOSED CURTAIN. YEESH. We have some great neighbors who have several dogs, one or two of which bark far too much. After several years of enduring it I decided to try this Ultimate Bark Controller. I mounted it to our house about 10 feet above the ground and pointed directly into their yard. I turned the sensitivity to max and set it on audible so I could tell when it was being triggered. Almost immediately it began to have an affect. It didn’t stop the barking completely or all at once, but over time it has greatly reduced the amount of barking and especially the needless barking. If people walk down the sidewalk the dogs still bark, but without anything to instigate barking their problem barkers are much quieter dogs now. This has helped out our neighborhood. Almost all of our neighbors have dogs and all of them bark too much, including our own dogs. However this device has helped reduce barking all around just by reducing the barking in this one yard. Was sceptical and know it doesn't work on EVERY dog but I have annoying small dog owned by a neighbour in my apartment complex that always rushes up to their grille and barks its head off when anyone uses the lift near their door. I am pleasantly surprised that the Dazer11 appears to work. I have 4 yapping chihuahuas Nextdoor that must breath through their bums. The barking is nonstop for 8,10,12 hrs a day. Not bad. The first one I got I ended up giving to a friend who was having issues with her own dog and others while walking. I had used it for quite a while before hand and was happy with it. Decided to get another for myself. The recent one was quite a bit more expensive than the first sadly. However I feel secure with it on board. It has helped me out on a few occasions with aggressive dogs. Though if used on a particular dog several times (useless dog owners) it seems to lose it's effectiveness. Perhaps they just get use to it. Also I found not all dogs respond to it. I guess dogs have varying levels of hearing even deafness. However all in all I would recommend.Trevor

I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I got 2 in XL: one in Camo with orange stripes and the sport in platinum which has a quilted weave and feels thicker so I could see if they had any preference since they both fit on either dog (they like them both). My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. The only reason the ThunderShirt didn't earn 5 stars from me is that at a svelte145 pounds Yulee was squeezed too much for our liking by the largest size (XXL) offered. We wrapped him in it without over tightening the material to make it uncomfortable while still affording him the gentle pressure and protective aspect of security. The fabric of the ThunderShirt Sport is a lightweight polyester which I felt might be lighter and more breathable than the other models with a poly, spandex and rayon blend. With all the fur this guy has he doesn't need any additional warmth. My dachshund lab mix ( weird I know) started having seizures every 4 weeks or so. They got worse as time went on ( he is almost 3), the vet prescribed seizure medication which he'd have to take " for life" but after reading on it I saw very bad things about the dogs quality of life. After researching I decided to try this first I figured what could it hurt. I give to him in the morning ( 4 drops.. hes 35 pounds) normally between two pieces of cheese because he doesn't like the taste, and 3 drops at night. He has only had 2 seizures since I started this product and his grand mal seizures which lasted over an hour before with violent shakes, defalcating, vomit, and weird body movements, is now just slight panting and last about 1-4 minutes! My arthritic labrador loves the water, hence I couldn't stop her paddling in a very cold stream and she suffered for it the next day, couldn't put her weight on one leg in particular and limping badly. I had a perfectly pleasant experience with this company, but the product itself has only caused my puppy to act out. I'm not sure why, especially after reading so many positive reviews, but these "calming bites" trigger the opposite behavior in my dog. He has far more energy and it's all destructive/aggressive. Every time I've given him a full tablet, he has stayed up later than usual wanted to play (think midnight instead of 9 PM). So these bites aren't for us. My dog suffers from hot spots on his feet and it makes him just miserable as one heals and another pops up in a different spot. My vet recommended I try a shampoo formulated specifically for hot spots and I found this at a major online retailer. A sixteen ounce bottle ran me about $7 as an add on item which I thought was quite economical since my dog is so small and that one bottle should last me through many, many washes. The formula uses Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera, Chamomile to calm dry, itchy skin and despite being a bit strong smelling during the bathing process the smell does not linger after drying. After the first bath with this I noticed a definite improvement in my dog's spots and he seemed more relaxed and less prone to lick the sore areas. After a month of weekly baths his spots were gone and they have not reappeared since. He also had a bit of a dandruff problem during the summer as he likes to sit outside and sunbathe which dries out his skin. Very best natural shampoo on the market. My little morky is allergic to flea bites and if even one gets on her she will start scratching and all her hair starts falling out yntil we do something to get them off her which is usually a pill and a good bath to clean off the eggs this shampoo does exactly what its advertised to do and I hope they never stop making it. LOVE Vet's Best Hot Spot shampoo. My dog developed seasonal allergies a few years ago and was sneezing and itching SO badly she was ripping her fur out in multiple places. She especially had bad hot spots on her front paws, where she was chewing and biting nonstop trying to ease the itchiness. There were a few times that it was so bad we ended up getting her an allergy shot from the vet, but I did not like the side effects of that shot. So one year I got the Vet's Best Shampoo after doing some research online and found this to be a life saver. It smells good and really seemed to ease and soothe her hot, itchy, irritated skin. Her skin was getting raw in some spots where she couldn't stop itching and this seems very gentle on her skin and calmed the irritation down. My little dog was sprayed by a skunk a little over a month ago and we used shampoo that left her skin in ruin. It was so dry and she developed sores that would open and cause hair loss. My dog is a short haired dog and doesn't require to much up keep. He does have some dry skin. He always has, so I have to make sure that whatever I use doesn't dry his skin out. When we got him groomed in the past our groomer used bio groom and she told us it was good for his skin. She used a different type but the same brand. I have used this product for many years. It really helps with the brushing process. Tangles just ease out. It also seems to repel dirt and help my dogs stay clean longer between baths. I highly recommend THE Stuff for dogs.KRISTY H.

I keep three of my four havanese in a full coat, and the stuff makes their maintence very very minimal, and most importantly, combing them is not uncomfortable for them at all! I have been using this grooming tool all throughout shedding season on my dog, and it has been a lifesaver. Even though my dog is short haired, he sheds a lot, so especially during the springtime I'm brushing him all the time. He loves when I pull out my Gentle Groomer and it seems as though he'd stand there for hours letting me brush him with this!
