It’s not a bad shampoo it didn’t seem to help with the itching thou which is why I got it but it was super gentle and left his fur nice and soft also the smell now I got it because honeysuckle usually smells really nice but this it smelt like nothing. After the first bath with this I noticed a definite improvement in my dog's spots and he seemed more relaxed and less prone to lick the sore areas. After a month of weekly baths his spots were gone and they have not reappeared since. He also had a bit of a dandruff problem during the summer as he likes to sit outside and sunbathe which dries out his skin. My little chihuahua will not eat her Pet Fresh food with this ground up in the food. I cut the tiny pink pill in half and crushed it into her bowl. She will smell her food and walk away, so this has not worked for her itchy problem. The pills might work for other breeds, but not for me. My poor Dexter has had his share of skin issues. And there is very little to stop the itch, scratching, biting, and whining. That's why I am thrilled to have this spray. I was a little skeptical about this product as it didnt have any reviews, never the less I went ahead and bought it anyway. It was easy enough to apply to my 6 month old kitten, he didnt put up that much of a fuss with my spraying it on him and rubbing it in, and I was also very surprised that he didnt start going crazy afterwards like other anti itch products I had used before, causing stinging and irritation. We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. Even though the regimen is over, we are still bathing him regularly and applying the Skin Soother. That was over a month ago and he continues to look better than ever! My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. However, currently I greatly regret purchasing two of the tins instead of the smaller sticks. All in all, this product works and I would buy it again! Recieved a 3oz bottle of Vetericyn Plus Hotspot Antimicrobial Hydrogel for free in exchange for an honest review. I have to say, this stuff is amazing! My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. The day I received it, I rubbed down her belly with it (this is where she itches the most) and it seemed like she felt instant relief. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I gave two of the chewables to my pup the next morning, not expecting much, but just hoping that there would at least be a little relief. Much to my surprise, she didn't scratch AT ALL that day!! I was still skeptical, but same results the next day, the day after that, etc. It has now been over a month, and she STILL doesn't even have any break through scratching, NO MORE scabs, NO MORE pulling out her hair in spots! I am just in awe, and can't thank you enough!! So, I'm here to tell you that there IS hope out there for your pups that suffer from allergies, and this may just be it for your pup, too! Pet Parents Allergy Supplement is wonderful! My dogs have less skin and eye irritation and can enjoy outdoor excursions during summer (allergy) season. It's great that it comes in Salmon flavor since one of my Shih Tzus has a chicken allergy. This really makes a difference for their ears, eyes, and skin. We were able to take the Shih Tzus off apoquel. Thanks to the folks at Pet Parents for great pricing, fantastic product, and quick delivery! I'm completely blown away by this product. I stopped giving apoquel to my dog, not only because of the expense (costing more than $200 a month), but also because of all the reviews I have read about the danger to a dog's immune system with prolonged use. But my large German shepherd continued to scratch and scratch and scratch. After the first application of Skin Tonic Spray for Pets & People, his itching subsided greatly. After the second application a few days later, he stopped scratching completely. I don't know how you managed it, but this stuff is gold! I have intentionally waited to write a review because I wanted to give enough time to see if the Fidoplex was going to make a difference. I bought this supplement a year ago because my cavalier king charles spaniel had recently experienced two bad episodes with ivdd and she’s only 4 years old. It’s so painful to see your little one suffer like that and the treatment is slow to help, although the laser treatments and steroids did return her to her old self. Not wanting to see her struggle to manage everyday activity, I was ready to try what I could to prevent recurrences. I read about Fidoplex and decided to give it a try. We took our Newfie/Lab to the vet to get vaccinated for a training class. Shortly after his shots, he developed a skin allergy with two hot spots on each hip. The vets thought it was a staph infection and put him on antibiotics & steroids. The issue reappeared after he finished the meds. The other vet thought he had skin allergies & put him on a 2nd round of steroids & antibiotics. That's when we searched online and found Wondercide. The Skin Tonic worked!
