I used it on my German Shepard who is itchy from allergies. It soothed her and cut out the scratching. I would definitely recommend. I did a little research on the product before I used it to see if anyone had any major issues when they tried it. I use it a couple times a week or more depending on how flaired up she gets. I do like that it's an all natural product. I also use the Burts Bees shampoo and conditioner as well. Our dog twice got foxtail seeds in his paws which lead to serious infections. He missed a hunting trip and the second time his paw was huge with the infection and had to be lanced. Poor fella. I have this in Mocha and Peachy Pink and love both for a sheer colorful lip balm/gloss. It's not too shiny but adds a sheer wash of color and a bit of shine that makes my lips look fuller. No smell or taste so it's great to go in your gym bag. Really moisturizes my lips. Doesn't stay on long so I keep reapplying but that's fine with me! My lips have never looked better!! Don't think I would use as a blush or balm elsewhere because it does have color and isn't designed to sink into the skin. If you wanted color and shine on your skin then this would be your product! Ok, so straight up, my raw ass face with just paw paw on my lips corners of eyes and cheeks in this pic and I look fab. The consistency was a bit sticky when it came out, but blends out I to a pleasant moisturized softness. This stuff is great, the pigment is perfect, you can layer it up for more drama and a bit of shine. Boy is it thick tho. The only con I will say is the smell. It smells like 80s lipstick. I'm not really sure what it is about my skin, but I have a terrible time with powder blush and bronzer- I can never get it to blend and it's always streaky. It is very possible that the issue is my lack of makeup skills. I originally got the Peach Pink shade to use as lip balm, but I wasn't a huge fan. The color definitely wasn't for me, it tastes a little funky, and the pigment is kind of odd and separates a little. I was disappointed and didn't want it to go to waste so I tried it on my cheeks- and I loved it. It blends super easy, gives you a dewy look, and is sheer enough to not be streaky and look natural. That being said, I am on the fairer side. I saw another review saying that it wasn't good on medium or dark skin, and I thought that this was a really good point considering how it's not necessarily very pigmented. I wanted to point this out because though it works for me, I would much prefer to use a product that is inclusive in its shades and formula.Sarah

My dogs loved the licking mat, but there are two things wrong with it. First, it moves as the dogs lick it and eventually it ends up under some place where they can no longer reach it. Secondly, and most importantly, they are almost impossible to clean after they've been used. It's a great idea, but more thought needs to be put into it to make it an outstanding product. My first experience with my Boston Terrier and the licking mat was a bust. She sniffed it and walked away. The next time I used it we were having people over and I put tuna salad in it. Usually when people come over, she goes into a barking fit every time the front door opens. With the tuna salad in the mat, she totally ignored people coming in and entertained herself for a good 30 mins. Lately, our 14 year old Puggle has brought barking at the dinner table to a whole new level. She has always been good obsessed, but it’s gotten so bad we can’t carry on a conversation. I bought this for my one dog's really dry paws. He'd scratch me with his paw pads every time he'd put them on me. Honestly, it did work well; within a few days his paws were already looking and feeling better. However, he hates having his paws touched, so it's a bit of a struggle each time (despite easing him into it). The smell is fairly neutral; it actually smells like a humectant I used to use on my hair. It soaks in quite nicely, though he does try to lick it off as soon as I apply it, so it helps to have a way to distract him for a few minutes.sarah.w
Our dog twice got foxtail seeds in his paws which lead to serious infections. He missed a hunting trip and the second time his paw was huge with the infection and had to be lanced. Poor fella. I found Musher's Secret online and took a chance. He never got another seed or infection in his paws. We've now have two small dogs who are having a hard time this winter on the snow and ice. Both of them come inside from going out for 2-3 minutes (I set a timer.) limping with ice crusted on their paws. I'm sure Musher's Secret is going to take care of this problem. Musher secret pet paw protection is used year round for both my dogs. Living in the NYC, I deal with snow, salt, ice, and blistering pavement in the summers, and this product is an absolute miracle and super easy to apply. In the winter, I put it on their paws 2 to 3 times a week and they can withstand the bitter cold and salty walks. In the summer when the temperature is 80 and above, I put it on their paws and she can walk on asphalt without issue. It also helps protect their paws from pesticides and environmental allergies. My two rescue pitbulls always have bad environmental allergies on their paws, but this def helps. Best part, non-toxic, non-gmo, gluten free, 100% natural, made from food grade waxes and safe. This stuff is amazing! Our hound suffered with red, inflamed and itchy skin for over a year. He was constantly scratching, digging and licking at his skin; he had dandruff and countless hotspots. We tried everything; numerous diet changes, allergy pills and different supplements and shampoos, nothing worked and we just couldn’t figure it out. Poor guy suffered daily from constant itch. I noticed immediate improvement in his scratching and itching after the first rub-in. By the 2nd and 3rd applications he was a completely different dog, and comfortable for the first time in ages! The dog had a TPLO surgery and had half of his back and his leg fur shaved off. The leg fur was coming back in about a month, but his back was completely bare with almost no sign of new fur growth. His skin also became dry and flaky, and he has never had any skin problems before. After looking for hydrating solutions I found this moisturizer and decided to give it a try, I liked the fact that is is a leave-on moisturizer for both skin and fur. As a bonus I found out that it has a very pleasant sent. This products works well. My older Cocker Spaniel started having health issue that has required me to place him on a low fat diet. Due to his health issues and I think changing his food, he started having skin problems. He now has very bad dry skin / dandruff. In addition to a medicated shampoo, the vet recommended coconut oil to help hydrate his skin. The coconut oil was really oily on his fur and I don't think he was fond of the smell. My other two dogs would run up to him and just sniff him after I applied it. I decided to try this and it is wonderful. It absorbs into the fur and skin and the smell is good. Much better than coconut. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than coconut oil. but it works well and for me and my dog, it is a much better alternative to help battle his skin issues.Cfb

They told me he had old man nose and to try to keep putting vitamin E cream on it. I tried that and there was no change and I was so discouraged because I couldn't help him. So I have a beabull, mostly English bulldog. He’s a 7/8 mix. Out of nowhere his cute little black nose started getting crusty and cracked. I waited a while and it didn’t let up. A friend said there was nothing you could do but I found this online. I didn’t think it would work but we are on day four and his nose is DRASTICALLY improved. He hates when I put it on (he does that with everything ever though) so I have to put some peanut butter on a spoon and have him lick it after I apply it to his nose or he’ll just lick it right off his nose. I bought this for my dog’s (14 year old Shar Pei) keratin buildup on his nose and paws. It dissolved the stuff great and I was able to wipe off the stuff on his paws after one application. That was really impressive. My dog has fairly mild Hyperkeratosis but his nose gets a fairly thick layer of buildup, and this product allows you to remove it fairly easily after a few applications over a couple days and a cooperative pooch. I was really impressed with how well it worked. I use it now preventatively which prevents bad buildup on his nose and paws, so all in all I’m certainly a big fan. I recommend at least the 2oz can if you think you’ll use it on the paws. The 2 oz can generally lasts me a couple months even with multiple applications per day.
