Apoquel has done wonders for my German Shepherd who recently developed seasonal allergies at six years old. He was scratching and biting at himself 24/7 and he caused an infection on his foot from the constant licking. He was so miserable until our vet put him on apoquel along w an antibiotic for his infection. The apoquel worked very quickly with relief felt later the same day he started. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. I highly recommend trying this if your pets dr thinks it's a good fit.michelle.e

This product didn't work for my dog at all. It just changed the colour of her diarrhea. I think one of the problems is that the directions say to give to your dog every four hours. However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. The only way I could give it to her was by mixing it up in her food, but I can't be feeding her every four hours otherwise she'd be overweight.Jerome

I just bought this item for my 14 year old malti-poo and the pill is so huge that even if I crush it up and disguise it he spit it out. Unless the company can make smaller size pill then I will not purchase this item again. My dog had an uncoordinated walk, she would trip and lose her balance at times. Her rear limbs were her weakest. I used many other products that contained glucosamine/chondroitin etc for a while but didn't seem to help much, maybe prevented it from getting worse. I just want to share our experience with the Veterinarian formula clinically care Dog shampoo. I just moved into this apartment complex Jun 2019 and on June 26 2020 picture one. We had a opportunity to rescue this beautiful black dog with some white under her neck (red when we got her because of the leash the lady had on her was twice the size she should’ve had and it rubbed her neck raw where she tied her outside). So as soon as we seen her we knew we wanted to bring her to our loving home where I share my home with my fiancé and 3 children. The ages 12,15,&18. So that day we brought her home and because she was tied outside a lot so with that . We immediately gave her a flea and tick bath and used Walmart brand flea and tick repellent. For her to wear around her neck (Now think about it … her life has completely changed at this point and she was loving it)Then we allowed her to roam the house and to find her spots. All she came with was a cage for her size a bag of Ol Roy and a 2 way oversized hoodies. The lady said here is her food and she’s uses the bathroom outside (obviously) and I asked how will she tell me she has to go? She said not to worry she’ll let ya know then she laughed…. Since having her home after a few hrs she started to warm up us… trusting us. She came with dog food she refused to eat!! Absolutely refused so we got her kibbles and bits and she loves it!! She was wagging her tail with enjoyment and happiness! So I figured she was ok with us. As far as her activity she was active she wasn’t showing a bit of grieving one bit as far as we could tell. (However, with going to the bathroom situation she was horrible at first peed everywhere and pooped behind couches and such but I’ve converted over to puppy pads.) THAT WAS A JOB! yay! Then over a few weeks I noticed her itching and scratching and over the weeks progressively gotten worse… The second Picture (Waiting at the Vets in the floor of the car) I took her to the Vet see if it’s allergies,nerves, etc . Because it started out of no where with no warning signs other then the scratching and scratching so he prescribed a steriod to take at home and a shot of steroids an with giving her those it chilled her down from scratching as much as she was and seemed to be helping but the after a few months she has now gotten even worse than she was she was bleeding all over!! The third picture is her second time to the vet trying to get more information and help not a lot was given but he did say he believes it may be a a airborne allgrine and she would need a shot every 6-8wks she is clothed we couldn’t bare showing how her skin looked was awful (winter she was bare skin with several abrasions where she begun biting herself )😭😭 so after that visit I researched Amazon for help researched google and ran across this shampoo and God am I so ever glad because after a few washes here she is today looks sooo shiny she now looks like picture number 4&5 !!!! Adopted a pocket bully from a lady 2 weeks ago and noticed he had what she called 'hotspots' ALL OVER him. We felt so bad and wanted to do something quick but wasn't sure wat it was exactly that he was enduring. So we picked up coconut oil and fish oil pills to start him on for his coat and skin. Well as healed within a week but noticed REALLY inflamed and almost bleeding rashes on back of his neck and knew we had to do something. Went to Walmart today and found this stuff because we came to the conclusion it has to be se type of skin condition dermititis or parasitic…wasn't too sure but his skin was soooo dandruffy and flaking . My 14 year old Chihuahua had weeks of horrible itching and scratching. He had terrible hard scales peeling off of his back that started in small patches and then spread to most of his back. I ask him a question about probiotics, he immediately start talking to me rude and then when I try to explain him what’s goin on what the issue I have I that time he was like I don’t understand what you saying like my man in what part of world that he lives that he didn’t understand a simple question and start talking rude, well after that he was looking for someone that speak Spanish because I’m what he understood he didn’t understand what I was trying to asking him. I read tons of reviews on multiple sites and decided to try these on my dogs. These legit work!!! My dogs(we have 5) had a bad can of stress diarrhea for a week from moving to a new home. First off, this product was shipped to me with every precaution against seepage, spillage or the bottle leaking (see photos). I order a lot online and was very impressed at how the product was packed for shipment. The bottle was encased in a bubble, sealed pack that I had to cut open with scissors to access the 32 ounce bottle. This product contains 1600mg of Glucosamine Hcl, 1200 MG Chondroitin Sulfate and undisclosed amount of HA (Hyaluronic Acid). The formula also contains aloe vera juice, citric acid, potassium sorbate, vegetable glycerin, Stevia and water. There are some cautions such as pregnant or animals intended for breeding that safe use hasn't been proven so read the caution section carefully. For my small dog, the directions stated to shake the product well, and measure out two teaspoons; there is a weight chart to indicate what dosage you should use according to your pet's weight. (Refrigerate after opening the product). I mixed the formula in with my dog's food, and she didn't seem to turn her nose up at her food, she is a very picky eater. She finished her food with no issue each time I added the liquid which was daily. I haven't used this for very long but after a few days, she seems to be moving with more ease. I will continue to give her this supplement because I believe just like humans, as our pet's age their joints begin to deteriorate and anything I can do to lessen her pain as she ages, I'm all for.Paige

I was originally given this product by my mother who was using it for her Chihuahua who had injured his ACL and had to have surgery. This supplement is easy to administer, I just mix it in my dogs dry food. She did not seem to like the taste clean, but it mixed into the food really well. I'm hoping great improves very little ones. My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. I combined this with Charlotte’s Web Hip and Joint hemp for my dog with osteoarthritis. She could barely walk for three days. After two hours of taking this she is running and playing around even in the cold weather. My dog broke his back just behind his front legs. We opted for home care and eventually chiropractic. The chiropractor recommended Pain Plus. My Jack doesn't mind taking them…BUT…he chooses the dosage! When I see him being stiff I offer a whole one and if he doesn't take it, I break it in half and offer him half. My dog is a rescue, approx. 13 years old & 68 lbs. He has been with us for 10 1/2 years. About two years ago he was diagnosed with Wobblers syndrome. My 8 year old, 100 lb., Lab/Chow mix had her ACL repaired in her left hind leg when she was 2 years old. Ever since she would often get sore and slightly limp after playtime. My dog has had a bad leg and was recommended to have surgery. We were hesitant because it costs $1200. I was at Petco one day and saw this item. I bought it to help my dog heal faster after surgey. I hesitated to buy the hip and joint advanced liquid for cats. I often think homeopathic products are a gimmick. When my 13 year old 20 pound Russian Blue started having trouble walking down stairs and was hesitating before jumping up, I consulted my vet only to be told there wasn't treatment approved for cats joint maintenance yet. I bought a bottle and wasn't sure how I was going to administer it to my cat. She's very feisty and there was no way I'd be able to give it to her in a dropper. I poured it on her food and she ate every last bit of it. I started giving it to her every morning without a problem and before the bottle was gone she was moving like a kitten!  I just received my second bottle. The vet said a shot should be approved sometime this year for cats with joint problems, but I don't intend to put her through the monthly trauma as long as liquid vet keeps working. I couldn't be happier.

I can't really say much about this because I can't take it myself and my dog can't tell me what they think about it but what I could tell you is that These are the perfect size for large sized dogs. They do have a stinky dog food/smell to it and you definitely gotta wash your hands after handling it. My dog normally does not take anything other than treats however he thinks this is a treat and has no problem taking it. He doesn't fight me about it and he doesn't spit it out or any of that. I am hoping overtime that we see a difference and that this works effectively as effectively as it's intended to. Over all I would recommend it to any dog owners. I think you could be a very effective vitamin for your dog as we all know our dogs are our family and we want to take care of them. The container is easy to open.Thawifey77

These seem to be great. Both of my dogs LOVE them. We have a 2 year old French Bulldog as well as a 8 year old Boxer, and both dogs seem to absolutely love them, as well as they both do great with them. No runs throw up etc.. I'm not gunna lie and say I know they work as far as Hip and Joints go, because unfortunately I cant talk to my dogs so they cant relay how they feel to me and neither one of them have problems as of right now, but what I do know is both of my dogs breeds are known for joints and hip problems, especially Ozzie our little Frenchie, so I feel like anything like this with a good ingredients list cant hurt as long as the dogs body is accepting them without obvious problems. Also, French bulldogs are more prone to having reactions and allergy problems etc, but Ozzie does great with these and has had no obvious problems, reactions, side effects etc.. So overall I am VERY happy with these, as well as my 2 pups, they both go crazy when I dig these out. They are SUPER stinky to us humans lol so they must taste amazing for them. I do think the high price is kind of crazy, but hey, everything in this world is crazy so not surprised. You do get quit a bit in this tub and they will last awhile for us as i don't religiously give these to our dogs everyday. My pup had a benign growth on his leg removed because he was constantly licking it. My little dog was sprayed by a skunk a little over a month ago and we used shampoo that left her skin in ruin. It was so dry and she developed sores that would open and cause hair loss. The Vet and store clerk Mike both recommended a conditioner with oatmeal. We had 3 options, but I opted for this one since it says it was tested on humans (if it’s safe for me, it should be safe for my dog?). This is our third bottle of salmon oil and it gives the dogs a smooth healthy coat, plus healthy muscle tone too.We think it's a good investment for your dogs health. We use a 32 oz bottle and when that runs out I order another bottle in about 3-4 months later, and our dogs look great. This time I also got the Pollock oil to see how it worked, the dogs liked the flavor of that too. We would recommend this product, we show dogs and the coat and skin condition is very important. The quality seems good and it was sealed. I was skeptical about paying that much for it for 4oz as I am on a fixed income. But it will last for awhile. I purchased this to help with my 3 cats health. The cat I really bought it for is a bit overweight and has terrible dander and shedding compared to the other 2. I squirt a little on their treats. Unfortunately she is the only one who won't touch it. Even on her favorite treat. My other 2 either love it or will just do anything to get to their treats, lol. I will try doing a teeny amount and hopefully I can work up to more.debikk

I have used this since Koda was 8 months old. He is an Australian Shepherd with a Blue Merle coat He is now 3 and his coat and skin are excellent. I add it to his food a few times a week Just 2-3 pumps. He loves the flavour:) It's the only one I buy It has excellent reviews I highly recommend this for your dog'sleigh.b
