I have been using the cushings gold for just over a month on my dog Max. I share him with a close friend and we have both noticed a big difference. His begging for food and insatiable hunger has subsided. He is not urinating in the house anymore! Max is 10 years old and I lost my previous pomeranian to cushings disease. One cannot underestimate how important that herbals are made with high quality ingredients, correctly and by someone that understands their uses. PetWellBeing is all that. And given I need added worm detox – I sprinkle a little pumpkin seed powder (homemade) on their foods too. I find this regiment keeps me from having to use the harsh drug chemicals in deworming. I was on the website looking for something to help my elderly chihuahua because I was unhappy with the meds the doctor had given me. You see he was in heart failure, and they always act like they are looking for them to die soon. I didn’t want that . NOW PETS CARDIOVASCULAR SUPPORT GREAT PRODUCT! My cat, who is 10 years old this July, had a heart murmur a year ago which was rated about a 5. Vet said I should take my cat to have an echocardiogram to see how the heart is & what was causing the murmur. I took it from my cats. One especially has an issue with the eyes. The orange tabby has a wet eye when he eats. He is very picky so I try to hide the powder in his wet food. Let me say that this helped him a lot especially when given every day. I know that L lysine is very good for viruses. like Herpes virus and EBV. My orange tabby has herpes virus and was pretty sick when he was young. I do not know about the taste but if you have a picky cat like me better hide it in his favourite wet food. It’s very sad to share that we lost our dear Cat due to kidney stone / kidney failure just a few days ago. After receiving this product I quickly added into my cat’s diet after he came back home from hospitalisation. However he slowly lost his appetite until we could not give him any water, food and medication. Just want to share how important it is to give your love pets enough fresh water and not depend on those conventional dry food and wet cans. I had my cat when he was only 3-4 months old 11 years ago. My precious senior American Staffordshire Terrier has her aches and pains, mostly in her back hip joints. In the mornings, it is so bad that she has trouble walking. Unfortunately this gave my dog really bad diarrhea and discomfort. I wasn't sure if this was what caused the diarrhea initially so I took her off this for a couple days and added it back into her water after she recovered, she proceeded to have diarrhea again the next day. Possibly different effects for different breeds. Coco is a Toy Poodle of 4kg for reference but i would not recommend this product either way.Ariel

I read before I bought this product, that some dogs don\'t like the water after you add this. So at first, my dog drank the water but then she stopped. She would come up, smell it and walk away. After a while, I switched to fresh water, without this product, and she drank so much so she was definitely thirsty but unwilling to drink. I can say that after using this for 2 days, her breath did smell good! So the product works! Can't say this will eliminate all bad breath, but will help between brushes and use of dental treats! This is my second bottle, and has helped reduce bad breath in our pitty. She doesn't mind the taste, and has not had any adverse issues with this addition. Recommend adding into water, not adding it first to the bowl due to it making a lot of bubbles. While I appreciate that chicken hearts are nutritious for dogs, these are so hard as to be unchewable for my small dogs even though they are strong jawed terriers. This is the first time I have purchased them so I can't say whether this is normal for this product. Perhaps a larger dog could swallow them whole but I think they represent a choking hazard for small dogs. My dogs do like the taste so I have been crushing them with a mortar and pestle and adding them to their food.Terri P.

Absolutely LOVES the single ingredient beef heart. He would eat the whole bag in two seconds if he could, but I only portion it out to him when I’m trying to train him or when he’s been a really good boy. It’s a good healthy treat. My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. I combined this with Charlotte’s Web Hip and Joint hemp for my dog with osteoarthritis. She could barely walk for three days. After two hours of taking this she is running and playing around even in the cold weather. Dobermans have high risk for heart disease. I have been using these capsules since 2017. They are great for starting you Doberman any age with this supplement. Sometimes from different purchases, I get yellow and clumpy capsules. I give these capsules to my dobies in a small meatball and put in back of mouth along with other added supplements daily. My dogs have no issues ingesting these. It is unknown if 100% helpful to reduce or keeping a healthy heart. Time will tell as mine age, but with their semi annual check ups, so far they continue in good health as of 2019 at ages 7 1/2 x2 and 3 yr old.DeeDee17

The first bottle we received the capsules separated with no problem and the contents was a lighter color plus the two halves were easy to separate. The second bottle we ordered the capsule contents was a darker color and the two capsule halves were not as easy to separate. In addition the contents of the two halves clumped and stuck to the ends of the capsule halves. The only way to get it out is to either squeeze the capsule or find a thin knife and pick it out as a clump. Both bottles had a moisture absorbing pack in them. The first bottle had no batch number on it but a 0214B next to the quality seal The second bottle number is 22743200 0417, next to the quality seal was 0314A With all the medication he is taking it is hard to tell if your product is helping but we can say he is still with us and doing as well as can be expected. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Back to the spray treatment, make sure she got dropper-watered, and by that evening she was gingerly back to parking in her 'askance' spot hoping for bits of our chicken dinner! I fully believe that had we not gotten Vetericyn and treated her with it in the few days prior to leaving that we wouldn't still have her today. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. My vet recommended this because of my dog's high ALT & ALKP blood levels(indicating liver issues). I give him a tablet daily. They're supposed to be chewable but he doesn't WANT to chew them, so I have to crush them up in some soft tasty food – problematic, seeing as he's supposed to tack his dose on an empty stomach for better absorption, but I suppose it's better than him not eating it at all. I also give him Hepato Support, so one way or another I assume he's getting helpful levels of the active ingredients. I honestly am not sure what to put for the value because it's rather costly & it's really hard to say what effect it's having – my dog's levels are still high, but they haven't gotten higher since we put him on the supplements. I was kind of hoping the levels would go DOWN back into normal range.trilln451

My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. I started looking else where and found these. After 3 months of being on hepato support 1/2 capsule in the morning and the other half in the evening her levels were right back down to a decent level and she is back to her lovable happy self. Tri-Heart is the same ingredients as Heart Guard but at a much more reasonable price. My dogs don't hesitate to take it with their bowl of food each month. They do get a little looser poops for the next 12 hours, but I haven't noticed any other side effects. The Heart Guard causes that for them as well.TamE

Let me lead with saying that after I came back here to look closer, yes, the website does indeed say these are tablets and not chewables. That said, I did not see that the first time I ordered and was misled by the "Generic for Heartgard" language. In human medicine, generic meds are the same as name brand and I made the (false) assumption this would carry forward. While these do indeed have the same active drug as the name brand, don't be fooled into thinking this is a "flavored" tablet. It's a very hard tab. My dogs usually willingly take medications even without an incentive like a treat. However, with these, it was a massive struggle. No matter what we tried to hide the tablet in, they refused to eat it, and even the old "put it in the back of their throat" trick was a struggle. For a comparison, if you've tried giving your dog Trifexis, it looks just the same. We eventually got these into our dogs, though it was traumatic for all involved. I certainly won't be doing this again. I'm returning the remainder and buying the name brand. The relatively small difference in price simply isn't worth the trauma to my dogs.Brandon

I have used tri-heart for many years on all of my dogs. I have never had a reaction any kind no matter what the age of the dog I am administering it to. I would recommend tri-heart as an affordable alternative to other brands. Trifexis is a good all around heartworm and flea preventative. Also works on internal parasites. Shadow takes it without issue and has had no reaction to it. Since taking it, he has not had any fleas on him and it has helped his flea allergy also. He's a happy boy. Takes it year round since we live in South Carolina and the winters are usually mild.Lynda

I have been using trifexis since it came out many years ago! It was mentioned to me by my vet who sits on the liscenceing board in TN. I have used it with my dogs past and present! I used to use a popular topical flea and tick medicine that worked great out in the West, North West and North East part of the country but for some reason not here in the south. We tried several flea and tick medications before we found this little gem. I’m so happy we found a flea medication that works in Florida. The only thing I don’t like about this is, its does not include a tick repellent and it’s really hard to get my dog to eat it. It really must not taste good. My older dog started drinking more water and lost some weight so the vet recommended we try the g/d formula. I'm sure the formula will help, but the kibble is too large for Ollie to chew. He had several teeth out last year and while he has a voracious appetite this is the first time I have had issues with him eating. I have cut this dry food up and mix a few green beans and peas with it to get him to eat it. It would be helpful to have a small dog formula or just make the kibble half the size. We will finish the 2 bags purchased, but will likely switch to an easier Senior formula with similar nutrition.Penny

Prescribed for our 7 lb chihuahua with kidney disease. The chunks are huge for him as this does not come in a mimi size, and he has bad teeth which they wont fix due to his health. So I ended up soaking the food in warm water ( about 15 minutes) until I can break it up with a fork. He wont eat it alone so after trial n error I figured out if I add a teaspoon or more of Casar soft food and add a small amount of water to mix it REALLY well, he will eat it. If I dont mix it well, he hunts through and picks out the Casar and walks away. The nibbles swell up quite a bit so I give half in am and half in pm. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! If your dog needs to wear something to stop them interfering with incisions post surgery then this suit works a treat and is much kinder to them than the dreaded cone. Very glad I purchased this. My Lurcher Heidi had to have a mammary tumour removed. She was terrified wearing an Elizabethan collar. So I got her a Buster collar but being long nosed Sighthound and with a flexable neck she could reach her stitches. The "Suitical" vest I got her from D forDog was absoulutley amazing. Comfy, stretchy and easy to wash and dry. It covered the area allowing healing . For toileting I just un-did the press studs and took her back legs out of the garment and rolled the Suitical back to her shoulders. Then when she had been to the toileting area I simply rolled it back and put her back legs through and did the garment up. It was similiar to a childs body suit. I can't praise this garment enough. I currently have two off your suitical recovery suits and highly recommend them to many friends. Not many companies cater for the larger doggies and the xxl fits my girl beautiful.
