I decided to try Quiet Moments because I was having difficulty finding the brand recommended by my veterinarian. My elderly Dachshund was having anxiety issues, so had looked for something "non-chemical" to treat her with if at all possible. I'm cautiously pleased after using it for three weeks now. It appears to be working almost as well as the supplement I had previously been using–and it's available here in town at our (new!) Tractor Supply. Big plus–our Tractor Supply offers online purchase and curbside pickup, something that's great for elderly/disabled! First time ordering and the item came quickly which was great. Unfortunately, the box was completely busted open and the treats had fallen out into the shipping bag. My dog was in a high-stress situation so I didn't have time to take a picture or send the treats back, but I really wish they handled my package with more care. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! Found this ear rinse for dogs at Walmart by Pet Armor brand. It's priced very reasonably at under five dollars tax an all so it's affordable for most pet parents. We had no choice but to find a safe ear cleaning solution bc our dogs are pitty's with unclipped ears so they're prone to dirt/wounds. This solution seemed to work very well without causing further irritation. After rinsing, wiping out, and cleaning his ears we've noticed a huge decline in his head shaking/scratching so I'd say it's definitely a great pet parent item to have on hand!megan.p

I have a West Highland White Terrier and he has had ear infections practically from day one. I have probably spent thousands of dollars taking him to different vets and buying prescriptions that they prescribed. We have some dogs with big floppy ears. They also love to roll in the mud and dirt. So, as you can imagine, that can make for some disgusting ears. I was very surprised with how well it worked. My cats nose cleared up quite nicely. I think the taste wasn't so good for her though. Maybe you can figure a way to give it a flavor cat's like. Also, you should make it so we can administer it easier. I had to use a syringe to be able to manage giving it to her. I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. I cannot dose her directly into her mouth, being a cat once was enough and she wriggles free when I try to dose her. She is not cured but is much better and her quality of life is much improved. I have rescued dogs my entire life with great results, until I met Max. I've had him for 2.5 years, and although there is a difference, I have still considered rehoming him. The destructive path that he weaves through my house is not only costly but unbelievable. I've even hired a dog trainer who works with him on a daily basis. We are at "Do or Die" time so a 10×20 kennel with a doggy door was installed. There is even a deck for him to lounge on with a roof on it! At the same time the Calming Bites were implemented. We are 3 days into this, and all that I see is a different dog. A calmer dog. There has been no destruction in the house and he uses the kennel to go potty. I adopted two very rambunctious puppies and bought many bottles of Grannick's Bitter Apple to deter them from chewing on things like furniture, shoes, etc. I tried other deterrents as well as puppy chew toys. In my opinion, Grannick's works the best. I gave this product four stars because the pump strayer was defective on a several bottles and did not spray. The liquid just dribbled out. I had to buy a spray bottle to properly apply it. Note: The product may stain. I used it anyway because I did not want the puppies to destroy my sofa. Also, I had to reapply it until my puppies learned that my sofa tastes bad and puppy chew toys taste good. Prior to the puppies, I used Grannick's Bitter Apple on my older dog. He developed a hot spot on his leg. I sprayed his fur around the hot spot, not on the hot spot itself. It worked very well in stopping him from licking that spot.VinTiff2021

You have to do more than just ONE spraying I have two 9 month old Staffordshire Bull Terriers that will eat chew thru anything! Of Couse love my slippers. I took my slippers and spayed heavy where they would pick them up. Then the next day spayed again. Worked! When you spray this stuff it does not leave water marks or anything. I even sprayed my fav pair of suede leather Merrils to protect them. Now I am having to spray blankets on the bed, yep they chew thru these. Leaves no smell to me unless of Course just done and put my nose to the item. Just in case- some of my fav slippers that I now leave on the floor just in case I give them a light spray once a week or so. These bottles are large and the liquid goes a long ways.giving you Lots of treatments. So if the first sprays do not work have some common since and spray again. I love my Staffies but admit they are little heathens when it comes to chewing up items. And yes They also have cow hooves and Antlers bones but still love material. Before this product of Bitters lost of my sofa side. Spayed using this 3 times on the edge they are no longer going to it. So the stuff works but you must do the work to spray more than once. Oheven works on the side wall of sheet rock. Yep little delicate Mistytook a liking to sheet rock. It is now sprayed and not touched. Left no marks on the sheet rock paint. Best thing, since sliced bread ! Like many other people I hesitated a long time to make the purchase due to the cost and could have saved myself a lot of sleepless nights if I bought this sooner. My neighbour has a German Shepard and another big dog. Their favourite time (although not the only time) is to bark through the night in close proximity to our bedroom window. Both dogs are untrained and the owners don't care about the nuisance their dogs are causing. The German Shepard's barking improved within a day. The other dog is older and still barks, but less and now goes to the other side of their property where the barking is not causing such a nuisance. We have mounted the device on our TV antenna on top of our roof due to the neighbour's property being higher than ours and will raise it more, which may perhaps help sort out the barking on the other side of the house as well. When the dogs are out of reach of the bark pick-up zone, I simply push the remote, which works great from almost my whole house. The remote and I are now inseparable when I am home. So far this thing is a lifesaver. I WILL say, we live on a city block, where about 6 yards converge in one area, with lots of fences between. We mounted ours from a 2nd story-patio pointing down into an adjacent yard where two VERY territorial dogs reside in the backyard. The owners let them randomly run in and out for every little noise they year through the doggy-door to bark for HOURS. The device is quite sensitive, I have to keep it turned down almost as low as possible so it doesn't go off randomly (in audible mode), for every little sound it picks up. But it does go off for the dogs, and it does seem to work on them because they'll immediately whine after 3 barks and then circle the backyard before heading back indoors. No more barking at every single neighbor for simply opening a door, or LOOKING OUT A WINDOW DOWN AT THEM, or even seeing a silhouette behind A CLOSED CURTAIN. YEESH. We have some great neighbors who have several dogs, one or two of which bark far too much. After several years of enduring it I decided to try this Ultimate Bark Controller. I mounted it to our house about 10 feet above the ground and pointed directly into their yard. I turned the sensitivity to max and set it on audible so I could tell when it was being triggered. Almost immediately it began to have an affect. It didn’t stop the barking completely or all at once, but over time it has greatly reduced the amount of barking and especially the needless barking. If people walk down the sidewalk the dogs still bark, but without anything to instigate barking their problem barkers are much quieter dogs now. This has helped out our neighborhood. Almost all of our neighbors have dogs and all of them bark too much, including our own dogs. However this device has helped reduce barking all around just by reducing the barking in this one yard. Don’t expect miracles, but you can expect results. Furthermore it does not appear to hurt any dogs in any way. I have not seen any painful reactions to the device. One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. She seems much more comfortable after her baths and I love how clean it gets all my dogs. Its very easy to lather up and it rinses clean. The smell is great if youre into fruity…if you dont like fruity itd be best to skip this one. Good dog shampoo is really hard to find but I really like this one. It is a little bit pricey but the bottle is a good size. The only way I would improve this product is making it a little cheaper or affordable. My dogs and I love this very much. I love the whole line, but lately, my dog has been suffering from allergies, so I switched to this one. It smells amazing, which I love, but more importantly, it's definitely helping with her skin irritations from her allergies. She doesn't scratch even half as much as before. Before I switched, she would scratch so hard, her belly was covered in scratched, bite marks from chewing, and sometimes it was so bad she bled. Now, she has a clear tummy, because she doesn't have the urge to scratch. This was a lifesaver. Purchased this product with not much confidence made a huge difference in my GSD allergies. Sprayed on the area he was chewing when he would begin chewing. It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. Rosebud was biting at her nether parts due to itching. This applied liberally relieved her jitters. I got this because we had two other dogs several years ago who were both affected by itching in different doggy-parts (stomach, behind, etc) and I used a similar product for them which also worked well. I believe a Hot Spot Anti-itch Spray is an essential for any dog's care kit. This product does the job to ease a dpog's constant itching well.MarkD2

I have an English Cocker, with long heavy ears. She is prone to ear infections. My vet recommended this product. I put it into both ear canals, and then rub the top of the ears for 30 seconds, making sure I get that wet, squishy sound. I do it three times a week, and she has not had an ear infection for 2 years! The only negative is that it has a little bit of a chemical/perfume smell while it is still wet. As soon as it dries, there is no smell. When the house is cold, I put the container in the microwave for about 5 seconds. It's much more pleasant for her to have warm solution going into her ears.Joan

I have a golden that has severe allergies and has to see the dermatologist they recommend this product 3 times a week once a day to keep the yeast at bay. It really works it has limited her issues. Cat had been shaking head and attempting to scratch ears. Quick search online pointed towards mites. Bought Johnsons ear drops to try on the fury one. After cleaning excess deposits from his ears administered these for a week and all clear. Great stuff.l730lcf

I am so pleased with these drops. My dog has very hairy ears and suffered with itching. Always taking him the vet with them. I have been using these ear drops and I can't recommend them enough. These have an extremely small amount of melatonin in them, which at first worked okay, but after a month it's not cutting it. A 10lb dog can have 1 MG of melatonin and be fine, which is almost 10x the amount found in one of these treats. Don't buy these if you're looking for nighttime calming for elderly dementia dogs who are restless at night, they won't work. Get some melatonin and ask your vet the correct amount to dose.gotosleepthor

My little senior dog has night time anxiety and no matter what we did were unable to get her to calm down let alone get her to sleep. It was effecting our lives greatly to the point where we were getting 1-2 hours of sleep a night. Me and my husband went out of town for the weekend and decided to bring out year and a half old corgi/aussie mix with us. She is FULL of energy and since the pandemic hasn't loved one of us leaving a space and if both of us leave has a full on fit once the door is closed. She was playing in the water for about two hours, came back and I put the treats in her dinner, gave her a bath, and then put her in her cage with her Kong. No crying when we left, good first sign. Normally when we come back in from somewhere if she was asleep she'll wake up, not this time! We came in and she was as comfortable as could be on her back asleep! This is the best ear cleanser I have found for my dogs itchy ears. Her ears aren’t dirty but she always seems to have itchy ears. When she starts dragging her ears on the carpet I use this and it relives the itch. The greasy Animax, I think is the name, that the vets have given for her, never gets rid of her itchy ear infection. She has allergies too so I’m sure that has a lot to do with her poor ears. I've tried a lot of ear cleansers from the shelves of pet stores to vet recommended ones. This is by far the best for our shepherd's sensitive (and giant) ears. Was sceptical and know it doesn't work on EVERY dog but I have annoying small dog owned by a neighbour in my apartment complex that always rushes up to their grille and barks its head off when anyone uses the lift near their door. I zapped it with the Dazer II and I could visibly see it got a shock, stopped barking, and backed off. I've used it several times and now the dog has started to become a little fearful of rushing to the door grille and barking. I am pleasantly surprised that the Dazer11 appears to work. I have 4 yapping chihuahuas Nextdoor that must breath through their bums. The barking is nonstop for 8,10,12 hrs a day. It drives a sane person mental. I have used this a couple of times & it shut them up pretty quick smart. I am however getting annoyed at the amount of emails I am receiving from the company. Not bad. The first one I got I ended up giving to a friend who was having issues with her own dog and others while walking. I had used it for quite a while before hand and was happy with it. Decided to get another for myself. The recent one was quite a bit more expensive than the first sadly. However I feel secure with it on board. It has helped me out on a few occasions with aggressive dogs. Though if used on a particular dog several times (useless dog owners) it seems to lose it's effectiveness. Perhaps they just get use to it. Also I found not all dogs respond to it. I guess dogs have varying levels of hearing even deafness. However all in all I would recommend.Trevor

The new pouch, with the picture of a cat & dog on the label, rather than the old purple and white, seems to have changed. I have been using this stuff for years, since the old purple ad white plastic cylinder containers, and it had been working well. When I got the new two pouches, in my latest subscribe and save order, they seemed almost balloon like, which I just figured that they had been filled under pressure, initially. I opened one, it smelled okay, and I used it as I have been using it. One of my cats is 16 and has CUPS (mouth sores), so she gets fed meat babyhood mixed with other things like broth and a tablespoon of this to give her more calories. She had been doing fine, and has been eating the same mixture including this for over a year. When I made her breakfast a few days ago, with this new pouch, she immediately threw up after eating. I figured it was just a thing, so I gave her some saved in the fridge in an older batch, using the older Miracle Vet (chilling them works better for her sometimes) and she ate that fine. Later, I tried the newly mixed batch, with this new Miracle Vet again. Again, immediate and violent vomiting. I waited a few days (not adding the mircale vet to the mix, and she ate just fine). Then I tried some with the new Miracle Vet added and she immediately threw up again. I need to see about a refund on these, as either they have changed something, or they are contaminated somehow. I wondered about the balloon-like inflation of the pouches and now I'm wondering if it may be due to bacterial biological activity and resulting gasses (as I said, it did smell normal when I opened it). I am very disappointed as this worked so well for so long, I went through dozens of containers of Miracle Vet over the past few years, and now I need to see about returns (it costs too much not to) and find an alternative additive to give her more calories. Anyway, I'll be curious to see if anyone else reports problems with this latest batch in the new pouches. I should sit down and compare the ingredients, since I still have an old MV cylinder around (but not a purple and white pouch, unfortunately I threw my last one out when it was empty). I have two pouches past the 30 day return to Amazon because I was using up old stock, so I may bet stuck for $45-50 of useless product.Robert D.

This stuff is amazing. My senior cat has very bad mouth issues and is too old for most intervention (periodic cleaning, etc). Surgery he needs is long delayed due to lack of qualified vets in my area and they are all booked for months. I really needed a food that would keep my kitty healthy while we wait for his mouth issues to be dealt with. I mix this stuff into a sort of slurry of chicken that I make him. I have a six-year-old golden retriever who has shown signs of anxiety and even depression throughout her lifetime. I assumed these things might get better as she got older. We have been giving this to our rescued 9 year-old, 13 lb. cat since March of this year. He has a condition called Hyperesthesia, which causes terrible rippling of his back and according to the vet, feels like needles sticking into the skin. He was getting a monthly shots of Naloxone to keep it under control. Those visits were quite expensive and caused more stress to the cat. Due to an emergency that arose, we went to another wonderful vet. She noticed the rippling and suggested we might try Soloquin. We gave him 1 each day for 2 days and the rippling ceased completely. It has been amazing! They are soft and we break them up and mix them into his canned food. We were told to keep giving him 1/2 daily and he has been nearly symptom-free. We only notice slight rippling when he feels extremely stressed (fireworks on July 4th or small children visitors). I have used Solliquin ever since it first came out for my cat who is absolutely buckwild. He just takes it as needed, particularly when the landscapers come by because that is a high stress event for him. Now that we have a dog, I give it to her to help with anxiety at day care, the vet’s office, during thunderstorms, or any other time she may get a little stressed out. If your pet is just anxious all the time, it will probably work best if you give it daily as directed to keep it at a consistent level in their system and it can take a few weeks to build up to a therapeutic level in their system.Nancy

I'm a big fan of medicinal mushrooms and know that they work well. However, they are also very powerful and not w/o danger or side effects. Considered how common feline hyperthyroidism is, people should be aware that some medicinal mushrooms contained in here, stimulate the endocrine system. My elderly cat stopped responding to his anti-thyroid meds, with thyroid hormone rising contstantly. I sent an email to Bixbi (the maker of these products) inquiring about the thyroid and Maitake's and Shiitake's endocrine stimulating qualities. Bixbi stated that they do NOT recommend the Superfood products for my cat with Hyperthyroidism. I'm still giving this product 5 stars, because it works and does what it's supposed to do … it's just not for everyone. I purchased this product to ensure my cats are getting all the extra supplementation they need from an organic source. The product is great, however, my kitties don't think so. I started out with adding it to their wet food in small amounts & haven't gotten past it yet after three weeks because they won't finish their food with it in it. Some are more finicky than others, but I'm sticking to it with the hopes that they will get used to it!Jo

Dasuquin is an updated product from Nutramax. We gave Nutramax Cosequin to old German Shepherd and Australian cattle dogs that have since passed on because it gave them relief from joint pain that was obvious in the improvement in their ability to get up and lie down and run again. I'm giving maintenance doses of Dasuquin to two large dogs we have now that are age 4 and 5yr to extend the life of their joints. The ingredients are similar to human nutritional supplements for older people: Glucosamine, chondroitin, brewers yeast, dextrose, green tea extract, gum resin, lecithin, cellulose, mixed tocopherols, flavoring and soy protein. avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) ….. We haven't used Dasuquin long enough for a long term review so my rating is based on previous experience with Nutramax products. The tablets are 3/4 inch in diameter. My dogs won't eat them as they are so I break them into fourths with my fingers and drop them into their food. The tablets are easy to break. If your dog is getting older I recommend this product along with high quality dog food and fresh water.William

I was told my dog had a luxating patella. We would hear his knee popping in and out all the time. Baxter has been on Dasuquin with MSM for many years, and so far we have never had to consider surgery. Baxter gets one full tablet every morning with his morning meal. I think he thinks its a special treat, so he gobbles it right up. Although we still hear his knee pop here and there, we strongly believe that the daily dosage of this joint supplement has avoided more drastic treatments.Lorraine

I bought this as the reviews were mostly positive. I have only been giving it to my two dogs for about 3 weeks, one is a 8 year old lab mix and the other is a 6 year old English Mastif. I will need to give it more time before I definitively say it is working. Here is what I can say: 1) the dogs are eating it, so it passes the taste test; 2) the have been no adverse reactions; 3) my wife observed some improvement on the labs mobility. This is my second bottle and purchasing with Alivet has been very easy and convenient.Marc S
