So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. I checked the pills and their reviews but found nothing about fur loss being a side effect, so I just assumed it was something else. After another week she had no undercoat and I was about to take her to the vet but decided to try not giving her the pills first. She stopped losing fur and now, 3 months later, her coat has come back. I have a Great Pyrenees who has strong guarding instincts. She is very skiddish and leary of anyone she does not know and often growls or barks at them. Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. I put these in my Dad's house a few hours before he came in with Archie, a new year old Airedale male. He already has an 11yr old grumpy diabetic female Shauzer Angie and a 7yr old Airedale female Layla who's still very playful. I bought this recently because I was introcuding a 6 week old kitten to a new home where I have 4 other dogs. I was hoping it would help with the stress of introducing the animals to each other and the fact that the kitten is now in a new enviroment. My fourth reason is that mine was scentless and never actually released any smell like it said on the box that it would do. I wonder if that is also why none of the animals reacted to the diffuser. It burnt through the oil inside of the diffuser really fast, would over heat, and never actually seemed to have diffused anything. Unsure as to why this started all of a sudden I've started taking in urine samples for those whom I believe are the culprits to check for UTIs. Still working on that whole process but in meantime the Vet said to buy Feliway plug-in diffuser. I found this one which is a bit cheaper overall so I bought this one and a Feliway as well. Relaxivet is plugged into wall in basement and it seems to at least cut back on the peeing at the bottom of steps. It hasn't eliminated it completely but I'm happy that is has lessened. I don't have to clean the ceramic tile/grout as much. I would definitely give this a try if you are having any kind of behavioral issues with cats. I just hope after 6 months or so they don't become immune to its scent and it will still calm them enough to eliminate all the peeing outside of litter box.Kelly62040

I love the product – your packaging – AGAIN – is HORRIBLE. I ordered two of these and one arrived opened and about ten left in the the bottom of the container. The other container was in tack! I am so thrilled with the results of this product. I contacted the manufacturer, who confirmed that the formula is the same as their cat joint relief product; the dosage and texture is just different between the two. So I buy this for my 2 cats and 1 dog to avoid having to buy two different products that are essentially the same thing. I crumble 1 treat into my senior cats' wet food each day and give 2 daily to my young dog for preventative purposes. Before starting on these, both of my cats had showed some natural decline in mobility, and one of them had torn his ACL tear when attempting a high jump. After just a few days of these treats, both cats showed greater mobility, and the one with the ACL injury was jumping again after a little over a week. Certainly did the trick for my little dog. Usually whines , throws up etc. even a short distance ride in car. Took him on a 2 hour drive and yea no throwing up, no winning and slept on the way home 4 hours later. . I also used pheromone spray when we left and that also contributed to his being calm. This is my first puppy/dog ever. I have a 7wk old Aussie/Lab mix who gets terrible separation anxiety when left alone (in a room or in a crate). He's pretty chill otherwise but, during crate training, he will whine and scratch at the crate to be let out, which becomes a challenge with my 430am work schedule. I have siberian huskies four of them. they are very hyper and like to do what they want instead of what you tell them. well I have one who is needy and who gets anxious if we leave the house. I tried this product on her and did not see any difference in her. I have 2 Yorkies that stress very badly during loud thunderstorms and when they hear loud fireworks, so I believed this would offer them much needed relief. I've used the spray according to the directions on 4 occasions during recent storms and it did absolutely nothing.
