So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. I checked the pills and their reviews but found nothing about fur loss being a side effect, so I just assumed it was something else. After another week she had no undercoat and I was about to take her to the vet but decided to try not giving her the pills first. She stopped losing fur and now, 3 months later, her coat has come back. The Adaptil helps with my dogs separation anxiety some, he has an extreme case of it. So anything that will help is worth trying. I believe in less extreme cases it would work even better, that is only my own option. I cannot 100% say that Comfort Zone does not work, but for my dog's anxiety needs, it does not appear to work. My dog is clever, the Thundershirt stopped being even mildly useful because she recognized that something nerve-wracking was about to happen when I put it on her and would start getting worked up. Trying to work around this I sprayed her blanket and area under a nightstand she likes to rest under immediately upon receiving the product and would respray a few spritzes every so often, regardless of lack of incoming storms or fireworks. A mild rain fell one night during sleeping hours and she did seem mostly calm. However a few nights later a storm with thunder and heavy rain came in and she started her pacing and panting. The Comfort Zone may help moderately, and perhaps other dogs' anxieties can truly be helped, but for me, it likely was not worth the $$.

I have two pups who are scared of storms and fireworks. I can give this supplement after it's already storming and the clinginess and shivers have set it, and within 20 minutes (not exaggerating) they are sleeping/resting and no longer shaking. They are still aware and can walk around normally, it just seems to take the fear away. I also use it for 4 hour car rides to help them settle and relax. Our vet suggested this because my dog is very anxious, and will lick until he's made a hot spot. My kitten was stress licking, and breaking her hair, but not causing skin redness like the dog. We got this and I thought "eh, it wont work, but lets give it a try" and OH MY WORD, I have two happy, significantly less anxious, if even anxious at all, companion animals. I love it. My dog used to ruin toys, and eat anything he could when he would get stressed out, he just doesn't do it any more. The kitten licks like a normal kitten and after a month, her hairs are all growing back! I had not heard of the Sentry brand or of the stop that! Behavior correction spray before. However, I live in an apartment building with small dogs & I have a close friend who has three small sized dogs as well. So, I thought it would be interesting to see how this product works & knew between my own home & my close friends home there was hyper dogs to try it with hahaha. This stop that! spray is to be used right away at the time of a "bad" or unwanted behavior happens. It's to be sprayed at a distance not directly on the dog. It lets off a fog horn sounding noise & let's out an interesting smelling scent. It has definitely worked especially for my friends two youngest dogs. This product has been used for a week now with very positive results! So far, I'd say this is a good product & would be a wonderful tool while training or for occasionally reminding your dog about the "rules" & what is appropriate/expected behavior.Nene87
I'm so glad I found this product. My dog tends to bark when he wants to come inside when we're eating or have guests. One spray of SENTRY Stop That! and my dog stops barking immediately. He does not like the sound of the Behavior Correction Spray. I like that it is an easy and safe way to have him stop barking. I keep the bottle right by the back door so it's quick to grab and use when he starts barking. Sometimes he will stop barking as soon as he sees me holding the bottle!FinnsFormula
We recently adopted a new rescue Shih Tzu mix named Luna. She was actually an owner surrender. Not being 2 years old yet, she still has a few bad habits. One of them although cute at first is barking at the dogs she sees or hears on the television. We have tried several techniques but they have not been completely successful. We decided to give this product from Sentry a try based on a friend's recommendation. I made the mistake of not making a trial run before I first tried it. Not really sure who was affected the most by the sound, Luna or myself. This product does grab her attention as well as anyone else within earshot. I would highly encourage one to warn the humans in the room before spraying. The scent is not unpleasant to us, nor did it seem to adversely affect Luna. One drawback is the recommended distance to initiate the spray. It's not always possible to be that close. That being said, this product has been the most effective so far, but I stop short of saying that it will completely change the behavior. In fairness to the product this could be due to several factors. 1. The only time I have used the spray is when the behavior needs to be corrected so there may not have been enough actual opportunities. 2. I have to consider how this product affects the dog and she may just need a few more opportunities to understand. I am however pleased with the results so far.Dekalbfd19

I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. I've noticed this formula isn't quite as thick as the other formulas, so maybe the ratio of ingredients is slightly different? Regardless, I would not purchase this again, nor would I recommend it. And now this product is "out-of-stock", so I wouldn't be surprised if others complained or had issues at well. I wish the product that worked better (and is cheaper) were available again.amt82
We adopted a 13 year old dachshund and his sister. He was a mess. No hair on the top of his head, his spine and ribs showing. He had been in a back yard for over 10 years. We started by adding pumpkin to his food, and his fur responded quickly. He put on a little weight and his personality started to show up. He actually started playing like a puppy once in a while. But he had chronic diarrhea, which reeked. Two different vets had no answer. The Vet Worthy Anti-Diarrhea has done the trick to stop the diarrhea, but I have to give it to him every night using an over-sized syringe. It must not taste too bad, because he doesn't resist it. This little guy would have been a goner if we didn't stop the diarrhea, so we appreciate your product, and especially the reasonable price, since I think this is going to be a life-long quest. I was recommended Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora by my vet and have had great results. Since then I grab it at Petsmart when needed. My pitbull has a very sensitive stomach and often has issues. Since using FortiFlora, most of his issues have been resolved. He loves the flavor. I believe it's beef and it's so easy to give it to him. You just sprinkle the packet on his food once a day and that's all. I've tried treat probiotics in the past and he wasn't a fan of the taste of them. Also I had to make sure he chewed them completely for them to work. The powder just makes it so much easier. It is pricey but well worth it. I honestly would pay any amount of money to make sure my animals are healthy. I highly recommend this product.jessica.j
First an introduction to Barnie the bichon… He’s 13 years young with one, heart failure and osteoarthritis. As you can imagine, this makes him not the most active pup in the park as he gets tired pretty quickly even though he loves his walks. After the week trialling the probiotic, there was a noticeable difference in his playfulness and bouncibility. He seemed more active and wanting play, getting excited when his lead gets picked up. Bert is old and has a few gas issues. Well a lot of gas issues really and sharing a room with him is sometimes not so much fun. The Purina Pro Plan Forti Flora sachets have made a huge difference to his gut issues and his enjoyment of eating. There is now much less tummy grumbling and much less gas. The sachets are so easy to mix with his normal wet food and Bert enjoys eating it. He seems to have got his appetite back since adding the sachets to his food, and is enjoying the taste, and I also think the good smell is helping too. I have been giving it once a week. I would like to see some more instructions in the pack but other than that we are very happy. It’s so good to see our old boy with a better appetite and it’s made it more of a pleasure to cuddle up to him and the air is generally much better! My dogs were sniffing the floor constantly. With everyone home under the stay-at-home order, their routines were thrown off. Sorry to say it did not help my little guy. I had hoped it would cause my tiny chihuahua hates being alone and whimpers alot. But the spray did no magic for him just left him wet and cold. This is my first puppy/dog ever. I have a 7wk old Aussie/Lab mix who gets terrible separation anxiety when left alone (in a room or in a crate). He's pretty chill otherwise but, during crate training, he will whine and scratch at the crate to be let out, which becomes a challenge with my 430am work schedule. I was skeptical of trying these, so I first tried just YouTube lullabies and sleeping beside him but both those only worked temporarily. I finally cracked and bought these a few days ago…he's now sleeping through the night and is out the whole time until I get home. These things are amazing.
