The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. With new balls, and a new machine, the product is exactly as advertised. After 10 minutes of fetch, the ball is too wet to throw as expected. The ball gets dirty, and the machine does too, creating a muddy internal process. The balls sent with the machine were subpar quality, and lasted about 25 throws a piece before they were starting to come apart. The machine doesn't adjust for ball sizes, so as a tennis ball wears down, the machine can't grab it, and forget about a tennis ball without it's hairy skin, they are too small by far. It's charging good, and working well if I keep putting new tennis balls in it, and run a towel through it, (although that's hard to do.) I suggest a manual adjustment be added to future products, to change the distance between the wheels that grab the ball. I think a tiny tweak on my machine would allow it to through hard rubber balls that wouldn't get nearly as dirty or wet, and keep the machine cleaner. Overall, I think the product is good, but is flawed in design. If there were just a few more capacities to make it work in the field and with different ball sizes, I think it's be a very strong product.Adam T.

My furbaby LOVES it!! I have had to learn to block spots where it easily gets stuck (under the bed, etc) but it occupies him for a good few minutes, or until it's empty. The only thing that can be a glitch, but not enough to where I would never buy it again, is that the adjustable little door where the treats fall out, sometimes gets closed all the way from him using his nose to move the toy around if it stops up against a wall or something (because it sorta slides back and forth with little notches to hold it so you can set how large of an opening you want).

Purchased this after we could not get our dog from barking at our next door neighbor. Its been about a week and the barking has stopped. I tried the tone and vibration at first and neither had any effect on him. Next i tried the unscented spray. Weve only had to use it a few times and the barking has stopped. I charged the collar and remote when I first got it and havent needed to charge it since. Machine is constantly noisy which my dog does not like. It does not launch the balls very far at all (not even half the length of my yard). The sound it makes before launching a ball which is supposed to be the warning is lower than the sound the machine constantly makes. No timer which would help (just a slow to fast turn dial that doesn't make a huge difference).

This is the first laser I've purchased for entertaining our puppy. She LOVES it! I’ve tried them on my cats and a German Shepard, and it drives them crazy and not in a good way! The cats whine loudly in aggravation not being able to catch them. Cat books say it stresses them because they’re trying so hard to get it and feel like failures. My dog was so obsessed with finding it he howled for weeks searching the house for it and jumping at each shadow he passed! That was just one day of playing with it!
