My dog loves anything and everything that squeaks, but they don't last long. I've bought him balls for dogs that he has torn apart within minutes. This ball so far has been the exception. It has bristles and like a honey comb texture to it. It also squeaks. It's a very thick neon green ball. No clue what its made out of, but it takes some effort in to making it squeak with one hand. From the moment he got it he went nuts on it. Tibbers has had it for about a week now, and so far it has survived lol. One thing I really like about the the ball is that its survived a week and that's unheard of with my dog .Usually he bites through it if it's cloth and punctured the squeaky sack and ruins it. I received this bright green plastic ball dog toy. This toy is fully plastic and there are no openings in the ball. It does have many ridges and valleys in it to allow your dog to chew. It is a squishy type that the dog is able to chew and squeeze. There is a loud squeaker inside the green ball. I am not the biggest fan of loud squeakers because my dog like to squeak them over and over, but this one is not too bad. This ball also bounces erratically and if you bounce it the toy is supposed to bounce many different ways so the dog is always surprised. The ball also floats! I think it would be a good one for the water and pool. It is a good size for my Boykin Spaniel. It has also held up to a lot of chewing so far!! I like that it does not have an opening and it is a solid ball. Once my dog gets a hold of something he will keep going until it is chewed up, so I am glad this one is still going strong. He loves it. It's his outdoor toy. He would go all day if we let him. We've had it for about 3 years now and it's pretty sun faded and has plenty of teeth marks in it. Also started developing a crack on the one hole, but otherwise its been incredibly durable. My partner can kick it hard across the yard in steel toes and it hasn't broken yet (that's probably what the crack is from). It has caused his gums to bleed a handful of times so maybe beware of that just because of the hard plastic if your pup is a tough chewer/biter, but otherwise my dog would literally kill for this toy. I read these other reviews where the dogs go wild for the toy! I have three dogs at home, and none were interested in this toy. They were excited until I threw the ball on the ground. They all took turns pawing at it, and within 45 seconds the dogs were playing with the old toys. The toy itself is built well. My German Shepherd x Malinois LOVES these balls the most. I bought several different styles to trial with her, as she is very fussy when it comes to her toys. She doesn't like the Kong frisbees which are too heavy and don't give her time to fly into the air to catch them – they plop to the ground too quickly, unlike our plastic ones which are brilliant at flying, but wear out more quickly – can't win! But the Kong balls on the other hand, we find are terrific. This is my third time buying these, only because we lost one and she won't let go of the one I bought her last week, so I am hoping that with another one, she'll learn to let go and stop being such a ball hog. She has baby Velociraptor teeth, so her will usually destroy all toys over time (some quicker than others) even though she's not a destructive dog by nature – just in terms of general wear-and-tear from chewing and play, but these balls for some reason, do last (the squeaker in them doesn't though – it's dead in a day, thank goodness, as it does drive me nuts when she's biting on it all day long and it's squeaking the heck out of the house – so that's actually a plus for her human hahaha). I think depending on the dog, you'll find different reviews, but this product is definitely a winner in our household at least and though a bit pricey for what it is, it's still the better option compared to others we've trialed.Jo

I bought one of these (in a size large, not sure if the sizing has anything to do with the issue) about 4 months ago and it has lasted really really well! The only reason I decided to replace it was because for some reason the squeaker stopped working. I think my dog may have punctured a hole in it or something. Let’s just say he loves his balls! Anything round he will chase, doesn’t matter how big or small. But the best ones are the ones that can fit in his mouth, and these are perfect for him. None of the rubber balls ever break apart or are ripped by him despite him playing with it everyday. I’d say he is not a heavy/strong chewer, more on the light/weak side, which makes them last a long time. Why a 4 Star if you say he loves it so much?? That is because the squeakers in them are weak or perhaps I just got a defective one. Apparently, All the squeaks in the balls were working. Then once I gave to him one of the balls, 5min later the squeaker broke inside. This is our second EASTBLUE chew toy. We love this one as much as the first, maybe more. Our dog loves it because it fits in her mouth pretty perfectly (she's 60lbs) and has a great squeaker. The ball is certainly great for standard use if your dog is just about playing fetch or chasing the ball around. But if your dog is a strong chewer, these tennis balls are not durable. I have a two year old Siberian Husky who loves to chew on things, including her tennis balls after she gets tired of chasing them around. She’s torn several of these Petco tennis balls into pieces in a matter of minutes, versus a gently used regular tennis ball that we found in the yard that took her well over a month to even pierce and split in half. The only reason I keep giving her the Petco tennis balls is because I bought several at once and want to use them up before I buy regular tennis balls. On the plus side, my husky continues to play with the torn up ball even after it’s already been obliterated so she gets at least a solid day out of it. This ball toy has become a favorite for Lilly. It smells yummy to me and I think it's one of the reasons she liked it right away. It's perfect for her to play with because it's small and soft and I really love that it's a soft material because she's a little old so I worry about things being too hard but she doesn't have any problems picking this up. It's still whole and it's been over a week so I think it's durable and worth getting. You can still smell the bacon smell on it too. Everytime she sees it she perks up and gets excited. I hear it squeaking it all the time. I'm really happy she likes it. I tried getting pictures of her with it but she couldn't sit still so they're blurry but that's a good thing.acarrill93
My dogs love these balls. I love to watch the younger dog play with this ball. She plays with it all the time. She stands on her back legs and pounces on the ball with her front paws to make it squeak, she hits it and chases after it. She will flip it with her nose to roll it to me so I will roll it back to her. She even takes it to her crate at night when it is time for bed. And of course, she chews on it. A lot. That is where the problem comes in. I have bought quite a few of these balls because she is rough with them. They usually lasted about 2 weeks to a month. Then I bought the ones with the bacon scent. Those did not last through the day. By the end of the day, there were little rubber bits everywhere along with the stuffing from the ball. When I gave her one of the older balls without the bacon scent that we had put away, again it lasted for a couple of weeks. I can't afford to replace these balls every day. So until I can again find the Dura Play ball without the bacon scent, I guess my dog will have to play with something else.ShdwKnght
This small ball is so much fun. The first thing I noticed is how well this ball is made. It is put together really well, and is very durable which is super important to me. It's made out of a latex which makes it really strong. It even floats so if you get it in water, it's easy to get back! What I really think is cool about this ball, and so do the pups, is that it is bacon scented! This makes them go wild and play with it longer. It even has a squeaker inside which makes it even more fun! It's also super soft and it's flexible, so any dog can play with it. It's also super easy to clean which is great because it gets dirty pretty fast! All in all, this toy has been great and the pups love it. I highly recommend it to everyone. Your dogs will love it. Our rescue is a border collie and australian cattle dog mix. She has always been very timid and we've never been able to find a toy she likes. We did notice however she spent all her free time trying to herd our other dog. We got her this and took to it immediately, she absolutely loves this. This is a great ball that can't go flat. My dog loves to roll it all over the yard. Only issue is the plug that made in the ball, he is able to chew where the plug is and now he can carry the ball around. What is the purpose of the plug? Can it be made without the inset plug? Otherwise, I think he could scrape the ball with his teeth but not actually chew into it to allow him to carry it.Amanda H.

I have a Pomeranian and we have always struggled to get her into playing fetch with balls or just her playing with them in general because they’re typically too large for her little mouth. But these ones are the perfect size! I have never found smaller tennis balls for dogs. They are obviously too small for a dog over even just 15 lbs. They would just eat them. These balls are a favorite of our dogs. They love tennis balls but seem to destroy them within moments after a game of fetch. I bought this a few weeks ago, and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a durable ball; I give it 5 stars for durability. For the treat dispensing function, I give it 1 star. The hole is too small for any of the treats I could find, so you have to break even the smallest ones to get them in there, and then there's a smaller ball inside that blocks them from coming out anyway. It requires a hard shake, from a human, and my poor dog just gets frustrated. Either the hole should be larger, or the inner ball should be removed.MamaCrow
I bought this last week. I have a young Jack Russell and wasn't sure this toy would hold up to his chewing but it has taken no damage.
