However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. I have 6 small breed rescued dogs that are all seniors. I've been using this for all, except one dog for many years. One of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach and can't use this supplement (I believe it's a beef and/or liver sensitivity), but the other dogs have no problem at all. They like the taste and most importantly it really helps! All of my dogs being seniors, 9yrs up to 18yrs (yep, 18 yrs old) have joint issues from age and this really seems to help with joint pain and even joint popping/cracking. They seem to be able to play more on this supplement too! If I ever run out, I noticed their joints popping more often and after only a couple days of using this product I notice a big difference. I haven't used this for larger breeds or younger adult dogs, but I imagine it would be great for them too, especially with all the joint issues that come with larger breeds. FYI, ALL the supplement sizes are the same product but with different sized scoops and dosage instructions based on the scoop size. I believe all the jars except the smallest size come with a larger scoop (supposedly 1oz, but seems to be more IMO) and the dosage instructions are based on the included scoop. So, if you're like me and buy a large sized jar for multiple smaller dogs, make sure to check the dosage instructions on the small size jar accurate instructions. I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. My Senior dog 12 year old pug, has IBD Irritable Bowel Disease, secondary to Pancreatitis. I have been giving him Fruitables Digestible Pumpkin in his food for the past three years. I use just a dollop or two. When he has a flair up I add a little bit more to his diet. He is however on Prescription Hills ID wet and dry so I mix the two then add the pumpkin. I always add a bit of water…. My little guy rarely scoots anymore, but does have to get his glands expressed every other month which is typical for the breed. I stand behind this product. I measured out 3/4 cup of dry like the package says and added 3/4 cup of boiling water as instructed on the package. I also did this for the second meal. The package states there are three meals so I measured out the meal for the third meal and there only was 1/3 of a cup left, not 3/4 of a cup. Consequently, I only could make 2 meals and not 3 as the package indicated.
My Cavalier King Charles has been in and out of vet visits, testing, and urgent care nearly nonstop for about 3 weeks now. I ordered this for my picky eater hoping to find something healthy that she would eat since she was starting to refuse the boiled chicken and still wouldn’t eat canned or dry dog food . I bought these for our senior dog who was on an antibiotic, but they arrived on her final day of the antibiotic so she did not have them. I instead began slowly giving them to our other senior dog who has had loose stools since we got her (2012), despite being on foods for sensitive stomachs and trialing other foods and medications. They have been helping her quite a bit and we are planning on buying more. Her stools are much more "normal" now. They key though is slowly getting them used to the product. We have other Zesty Paws products and have had to do the same thing.
I have been getting these probiotics for my dog for a while now, we've gone through 6 containers! After a vet visit we realized the importance of a probiotic to regulate his sensitive stomach and originally were using the Purina ProPlan powdered one that is sprinkled over food but prefer these! My dog can be a picky eater and after preparing his food he'll decide he doesn't want to eat it, wasting the probiotic (he eats wet food and I give him fresh food later if he didn't eat it). In this form he can choose to eat it whenever he wants and he thinks it's a treat. No more powder to deal with and getting the same great results!

Did my research and this seemed to be best way to go. Off I went, and after 2 days, she is fine. Well and Good Anti-Diarrhea Liquid did work. Both of my dogs had diarrhea so I started them on boiled chicken, rice and pumpkin with 1/3 cup a water the first three days. After three days their poop was firmer but still soft so I purchased this at Petco. They would not take this straight they did not like it so I mixed one teaspoon per dog bowl added two tablespoons of pumpkin then 1/3 cup of warm water stirred it up and they both licked the bowls clean. The first dose was given to them at 4 PM and their poop was a lot firmer by 11 Pm that evening. The next morning at 6 am I gave them the second dose and by 12 noon everything was back to normal in the one dog. I will give the third dose tonight at 6 P. I will say for me it really worked! Mixing with water and pumpkin allows the dogs to get more water in their system. After three days they still will not drink out of the water bowls but they get plenty of water with ice at night and during the day 1/3 cup water with the 2 tbs of pumpkin three times.Kannacker
HIGHLY recommend! These past few days have been a nightmare with my 12-year old Maltese having severe diarrhea. It's never been this bad before. It started randomly 2 days ago. That morning she had normal poops but randomly in the afternoon she started having diarrhea. I didn't think much of it until she started pooping liquid and mucus (small amounts but painful nonetheless) every 1-2 hours. We went from painful diarrhea every 1-2 hours to being accident-free almost immediately? How is that possible? When i lost my beloved Tig, i then adopted 3 boy cats. For 3 weeks it was absolutely nuts in my house, and i felt i was babysitting the litter boxes because all 3 boys had the runs. She's a beautiful, petite little 2 year old that is so incredibly loving. We bonded right away. But the chronic diarrhea was really hard to put up with. She would have trouble making it to the littter box in time and track it all over the house, etc. Her stool consistency was pure liquid, and I know she wasn't happy either. I tried other homeopathic drops, prescription food, grain free and minimal ingredient diets. The only thing I learned was that she might have a food allergy to beef products so I removed beef from her diet and it helped a little or so I thought. But the problem persisted.
