No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. My animals tend to get what I call "goopy eyes" from time to time, mostly irritated from hay or just allergies or dust etc. I have used products similar to this in the past. I used this antimicrobial gel to help clear the irritants in their eyes. We received this free trial of Vetericyn Antimicrobial Eye Gel for Pets and decided to test it on our 3 year old English Shepherd, Cooper. Cooper's favorite past time is running through long grasses in our field, which seem to cause him to get eye goobers. Cooper was very unhappy to get the eye gel drops and we often used 2 or 3 times more product than needed since so much ended up on his face and muzzle. Despite the challenges we faced when applying the eye gel, we were happy with the results. After 2 days of 2 applications each, Cooper's eye goobers had disappeared. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I'd have to wrap his paws and watch him like a hawk. Not so with this! He stays away from it so it can work…bonus points bc spray plus consistency is easy application. I love the product – your packaging – AGAIN – is HORRIBLE. I ordered two of these and one arrived opened and about ten left in the the bottom of the container. The other container was in tack! So one container completely distroyed. Other items in the box were broken open: The box of Cat Food – 30 box count. Totally broken apart and all the cans were all about the box. And many dented! The shipping box itself had obviously been broken and arrived in super bad condition and a lot extra tape. The box was a mess and was part of the delay in its delivery! I have complained about your packaging practices many times before…. Seldom with any evidence that some one cares. Boxes still come beat up, destroyed, contents thrown about and dented. AND way too heavy! I will be 80 next week! Those are heavy boxes for me (or anyone!!)…..I have to take the box apart a the gate and bring items into the house. I am so thrilled with the results of this product. I contacted the manufacturer, who confirmed that the formula is the same as their cat joint relief product; the dosage and texture is just different between the two. So I buy this for my 2 cats and 1 dog to avoid having to buy two different products that are essentially the same thing. I crumble 1 treat into my senior cats' wet food each day and give 2 daily to my young dog for preventative purposes. Before starting on these, both of my cats had showed some natural decline in mobility, and one of them had torn his ACL tear when attempting a high jump. After just a few days of these treats, both cats showed greater mobility, and the one with the ACL injury was jumping again after a little over a week. After several weeks, he's moving like the young, athletic cat he used to be. Most importantly, nobody seems to be in any discomfort anymore. … I will just say, though, that this new advanced formula with collagen is much stiffer/denser than the regular formula without collagen, so crumbling the treats can be a little bit of a pain. Smashing them with a spoon or a pill crusher before crumbling definitely helps.FancyPants2
I have a brave little mini doxie that would take on the meanest badger, but hates storms or loud bangs of any kind. If you are reading this you know what I mean, pawing, panting, whining, she stands on top of me during the night and puts her face in mine like…make it stop! My vet recommended this because of my dog's high ALT & ALKP blood levels(indicating liver issues). I give him a tablet daily. They're supposed to be chewable but he doesn't WANT to chew them, so I have to crush them up in some soft tasty food – problematic, seeing as he's supposed to tack his dose on an empty stomach for better absorption, but I suppose it's better than him not eating it at all. I also give him Hepato Support, so one way or another I assume he's getting helpful levels of the active ingredients. I honestly am not sure what to put for the value because it's rather costly & it's really hard to say what effect it's having – my dog's levels are still high, but they haven't gotten higher since we put him on the supplements. I was kind of hoping the levels would go DOWN back into normal range.trilln451
My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. I started looking else where and found these. After 3 months of being on hepato support 1/2 capsule in the morning and the other half in the evening her levels were right back down to a decent level and she is back to her lovable happy self.
