Perfect fit for petsafe wireless collar replacement and I like these better than the original bc you can make it tight as you need for hard to contain dogs and ones with thicker hair. Collar fit has changed my life dealing with a dog dying to run off constantly.RACHEL M

Great price, good quality. Lots of notches to make collar fit any size neck in the medium to giant breed sizes. Reflective part very effective. This collar is longer than I expected with more notches than I imagined – this is a good thing!! Easy to cut down and make the perfect length. Also, the additional purchase of the name tag for the dog came attached to the collar- riveted in place to the collar. PERFECT! Also unexpected- I thought I would have to do the riveting myself. Maybe I missed something or maybe it wasn’t clear, but this collar has a plastic coating which I was PLEASANTLY surprised to discover. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the holes for the invisible fence microlite electric fence prongs were too far apart. It was doable though and I was able to get it to work. 4 stars because I had expected it to fit like a perfect glove and not a tight glove. Either way, I will be buying this again. I purchased the bark collar a few weeks ago now and have found it's worked really well in training our German Shepherd. She's an excited 4yr old who doesn't seem to grow out of the puppy stage! She would bark at birds, people walking past, neighbours in their yards, our cars pulling in….. etc and generally driving everyone crazy. We tried stopping the barking by putting on a bark muzzle each time she barked however you couldn't leave it on when you went out for the day and so it was never consistent. The first week of using the bark collar she seemed abit depressed, not running around like her usual self, now though she's used to it and back to her active self without barking! The only issues we've had is the collar does move, she's a long haired German Shepherd and I feel I have to do the collar up very tight to keep the contact between prongs and skin even though they're the long prongs, the only other issue was once after barking in response to the collar she yelped and it set the bark collar off again and became a cycle of yelping/zapping, fortunately we were able to get to her quickly and take the collar off to stop the cycle because it was horrific when it happened. We haven't had any further occurrences like that though and have continued using the collar. Now even when we have our friends dog over and I take the bark collar off while they play she doesn't bark. I would definitely recommend using a bark collar to train your dog if their a nuisance barker like ours was. (Your neighbours will love you for it and you'll appreciate the peace and quiet too!)Elenor C.

We installed the in ground wire around the perimeter of our property. I have one dog that digs under our fence and one that climbs the fence. These collars keep our dogs away from the fence and keeps them from running out into the street. We have had our fence for 5 years now and only replaced the collars once because I misplaced them. Batteries need replacement every few months. I like that the dogs get a beeping warning once they are within a few feet of the perimeter and only get shocked if they cross the boundary.fldolphinmc

By far the best price that I could find. The UltraLight Receiver Collar was in perfect shape and in excellent working order. The only condition issue was that the battery was nearly dead. I installed a new battery and it's working great a month later. Money savings will buy a life time of batteries.19galaxie66

After my old collar broke and tractor supply would not restock their collars, my dog would chase cars down the driveway and bite at the tires. He no longer does this. Works well and got it in 3 days.traylor9865

Have bought two collars for two separate uses the 1900S and YS600 both are working perfectly for their intended purposes, the 1900S I love the way the remote allows greater control so the action can be more closly aligned with the action you want to correct without the harassment of searching for the controller and the button, better for me and better for the dog.Michael F.

This my 2nd Dogtra collar setup, and this one feels far bette in quality. The collar does sit a little tighter on the dog's neck, so I go one notch loser than normal. Remote feels a lot better than past one. Smaller tighter feel, and cleaner touch effect.swingboy01

I like this product because it covers a big area, I have it around 6 acres. However, as with all electronic machines these days, it could be made stronger. The ground spring on this one broke as soon as I pluged the ground wire in. It can still be used, but be aware when buying used units they do have a "life limit"klieta

I have owned this system for a yr and run 3 collars on it. At first it worked great 4 months in a collar stopped working it would show red light like charging but would never come on so i purchased another one 130 bucks (wow) with in weeks same thing to my other one called tech support this time they walked me theough how to turn it on (at this point i laughed at the begining of the call i stated i have had the system a year) they told me it must be broke and buy a new one. Well broke to me is nothing working but i have red light on charging and stays red for hours 8 to be exact on both of them so this is trash and do not expect help from tech support. But buying one of these every year is not cheap either. 🙁 Fortunately, when I called PetSafe I spoke to a very helpful rep who offered to replace the collar for me. I'm very grateful and very happy about this, since it is a very nice collar and easy to use. Here's hoping the failure of the first one was a fluke! I probably will ultimately get another one for one of the other dogs (we have 3!) once we use up all of the batteries we have. While I'm only giving three stars for the collar due to the short lifespan, I would definitely rate service at 5 stars!DigitMom

I have a pup that is a large breed, he looks like I been feeding him steak and potatoes cause he's so dang big. He is ALL puppy though. Chews on everything loves running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Been trying to train him to chill with me, yeah, right. He wants to play. And because he wants to play, he wants to run every stinkin where. Decided, for my sanity as well as his safety, I'd get this thing. Put the flags out, set it on a low static charge, and it didn't take long before he figured it out. You DO have to WORK a dog with this. It's not just a plug it up and watch their hair shoot up when they get popped. Walked him around the perimeter for 7 days, he sees and sniffs the flags. After that, I let him run around, and he got popped maybe 3 times, and figured it out. Now he's pretty dang happy, and I can let him rip around with zoomies while I work in the yard. I have a 2 yr old LARGE French Mastiff that weighs 180ish! I bought with the (red in color) “stubborn” collar. We previously installed a wired underground fence. (Which I have to mention took 2 FULL DAYS TO INSTALL AND READY TO USE!!) My Bo would realize he was close to the boundary, take a step or two back then take a run right through it, with no second thought!!! We watched him do this several times. I guess he was thinking, well this is going to hurt but only for a few short seconds. Idk?? But it did NOT phase him one bit! I had talked to 4 or 5 people that had this system, so reluctantly I decided to give it a try. I thought to myself well if it doesn’t work I will simply return it, no harm no foul. My boyfriend had it installed and collar on Bo in 30 mins flat. We walked ole hard-headed Bo around maybe 4 times to show him the boundaries. Once he heard the beeping, he kept walking then he felt the shock 1 time and that must have been enough because he never ventured close again! It has been about 2 months of use and I would give it 100 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! We live in a subdivision where houses are fairly close. I was ultimately worried that the zone would lead into the neighboring yard. (which was the #1 thing we are trying to prevent) And although it may, Bo doesn’t even attempt to go that far. I believe he now understands to stay in his own yard! Living in a subdivision, many people take walks and Bo just sits and watches them now!! Matter of fact, just to see, we have sent him outside WITHOUT the collar and ironically enough HE STAYS IN OUR YARD!! The ONLY complaint I have is the small clear piece on the collar broke off the first time I went to adjust the strength of the shock. So far it hasn’t effected anything so fingers crossed on that! Just an FYI, we set ours on a level 3 to begin with and my boyfriend was ready to give up, so I told him to have some patience and we just kept adjusting the level on the collar and we ended up discovering for Bo he needed to be set on a #6. Again, I repeat he weighs 180 lbs, and the Mastiff bread is KNOWN for their stubbornness. I would suggest starting at the lowest level for a smaller dog PLEASE! But, if you are hesitant as myself, about this system just give it a try AND I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SO SURPRISED!!!!! I love this system, and just hope that it lasts!!!!!!Owner of French Mastiff

I really like the walk, distance and step tracking. It does a better job than my phone at showing where we've walked! It improves over time as new features are added, and the battery is lasting longer than it did when I first got it. Some training is necessary, so the pup knows what to do if it goes off. I have a lab / hound mix that is 11 years old and she weighs about 85lbs. We began usin this collar since April 2017 and within 3 months, one of the prongs broke off. We contacted petsafe and were told that this is an uncommon problem and that the only way this could happen is due to "rough play, hitting it against an object, over-tightening the probes, etc." I have a hard time believing our senior aged dog plays rough enough to break the prongs of a durably made product. If you have a larger / sporting breed dog, i would steer clear of this product and go with Invisible Fence or the SportDOG brand from another retailer. They seem to cater to larger / sporting breeds. We've had our fence under a year, no problems with the actual fence. We have 2 dogs on the fence, 1 is an English Mastiff and the other is a Cocker Spaniel. The Cocker Spaniel's clip/closure cracked and broke off so we had to go out and search almost an acre of property to find it. We did find it but it is a PAIN to have to go out and search for a collar that you would not expect to break. Recently our English Mastiff has been strolling off the property, she has never done that in the almost year we have had it. First think I did was check the battery and decided to be safe we would change it!! That didn't work so I decided to take off the collar and check it to make sure it worked and it does but there are certain times when it don't. I have it on the highest frequency and I'm hoping this works, I will keep you informed. But us like others are missing the clear caps that cover the button to change the frequency. I don't understand how these pieces can come off unless we take them off, this tells me that there is a malfunction in your manufacturing if we are not the only ones missing these caps!! Then to top it off, you sell these clear caps and expect us to pay for them, something doesn't seem right. If you know these clear caps come off, shouldn't you be trying to fix this issue and offer those caps or free? ​Rich T

I bought the in ground fence system over 10 years ago. Before I knew about them I had a black lab that was on a 20' chain all day long until I got home from work. When I'd let her loose to play she would run away from me when I'd call her because she thought I was going to put her back on the chain. Needless too say it was not a good way to keep a pet at our home. Our town also has a leash law, if your dog is caught by the police with out a person in control you pay a fine. The fines run up and above the cost of the in ground fence system. Our dogs have loved the freedom of being loose to run and play in our yard without chains and leads.Mayor

We've had this system for several years now and have been happy with it. I will say, in our experience as well, the big dogs run through it unphased. We purchased the PetSafe "Stubborn Dog" collar to use with this system and it has solved the problem with the bigger dogs running through it.tstowe43
