This product didn't work for my dog at all. It just changed the colour of her diarrhea. I think one of the problems is that the directions say to give to your dog every four hours. However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. I checked the pills and their reviews but found nothing about fur loss being a side effect, so I just assumed it was something else. After another week she had no undercoat and I was about to take her to the vet but decided to try not giving her the pills first. She stopped losing fur and now, 3 months later, her coat has come back. For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. I am glad I read the reviews on this product. They helped me to decide to give it a try. I have a dog with severe skin allergies. He is on premium dog food. He gets wiped off every time he come in from outside. I still was having problems with him biting or scratching himself raw. My dog ate this willingly only twice. I've even dipped it meat juice & he will not eat it. If I crush it in his food he rejects the whole bowl. He is not picky at all. so these must taste pretty bad. My BT recently passed away and my Chihuahua has been grieving as she is lonely. Got her a snuggle buddy and these warming packs to go in it. She loves it and snuggles up to it when she is in her crate, which is usually for about 3-4 hours max. I reuse the packs several times. If you put the one you are using in a baggie and push all the air out, you can use it several times if not for extended times.
