I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. After looking for hydrating solutions I found this moisturizer and decided to give it a try, I liked the fact that is is a leave-on moisturizer for both skin and fur. As a bonus I found out that it has a very pleasant sent. Almost instantly after applying it once a day I started seeing thin patches of new fur growth. in a couple of weeks his back was completely covered by thin layer of new fur. This products works well. My older Cocker Spaniel started having health issue that has required me to place him on a low fat diet. Due to his health issues and I think changing his food, he started having skin problems. He now has very bad dry skin / dandruff. In addition to a medicated shampoo, the vet recommended coconut oil to help hydrate his skin. The coconut oil was really oily on his fur and I don't think he was fond of the smell. My other two dogs would run up to him and just sniff him after I applied it. I decided to try this and it is wonderful. It absorbs into the fur and skin and the smell is good. Much better than coconut. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than coconut oil. but it works well and for me and my dog, it is a much better alternative to help battle his skin issues.Cfb

I used this on my golden retriever hot spots . It’s allergy season , and I normally use a cream on my dogs . This product wasn’t messy , and my dogs didn’t mess with their hot spots again . I used the product for a week and the hot spots went from golf ball size down to the size of a grape . I also didn’t have to be seen by my vet . This has been a complete life saver. My elderly dog keeps chewing one specific spot. With many expensive vet trips, we've tried so many things that I was feeling discouraged. My dog gets anxious and antsy when he feels itchy, we've had to out a cone on because the chewing became so bad. But I noticed when I put this one he becomes less anxious and settles. My pet Koko is a 4 year old Cooker S and he has certain spots on his body that will itch until the fur is gone and the skin is broken. The hydrocortisone didn't seem to be doing enough. I had been purchasing from another vendor in California and was very disappointed in their service, out of products, almost out of date product within like one month on something you don't use every day. Have promotions but not product. Never notify when something is back order, you have to email them and call and sometimes still nothing until you contact them again, very poor service. I have used Happy Jack 40+ years but after moving off the farm 15 years ago forgot all about it and began using holistic medications, etc. Well, I do rescue and got a little jack russell with 70% of her body scarlet, oozie red, infected red ears, thick red, hairless legs, tail, chest and face. She had been ill for so long her skin was very thick and discolored. I spent hundred of dollars for 4 months without results then ran across Happy Jack again in the Tractor Supply. I bought mange medicine instead of the dip I had used before and, within 32 (I counted them) hours, her itching has stopped, her skin is now pink not red and her little swollen paws and now a normal size. I will continue to use according to the directions to make sure this is gone but might switch to the dip to treat her in 30 day cycles. If you love your dog and mange is a problem, save your money, and buy this product it saved Lulu's life, she was so severe and in distress that I had considered putting down.Russellwrangler
My dog was scratching constantly causing hot spots an scratches that bled a little not to mention she had this smell that's was offensive. I tried other products and then I heard of this one from a friend, bought it and brought home and put it in a spray bottle to evenly spray her entire body (except in her ears, eyes, mouth or sanitary areas) and to my surprise I Seen instant relief for her and she was able to sleep peacefully and so was I. Would I recommend this product ? Yes, yes I would.. FYI.. You might want to buy a few bottles because you'll have to make sure your pet is wet and massage it into their skin (use gloves) might want to cover areas where your offer lays until your pet is dry. Leave on your pet for 3 days… You'll notice flakes (scabs) that's normal, wash your pet.. Let them dry completely and repeat the happy Jack mange medication. You'll start to notice the hair growing back. You'll be happy and your pet will be happy an you will have saved alot of $ then you would had you went to a vet. I bought all mange treatments from happy jack… I have a white pit with enlarged paw found out it was NOT yeast like the lying vet said it was…..another vet told me it was cancer? only after years of bull! money sucking vet visits! to find out it was mange attacking the animals for YEARS ! I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie
I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested.
