Google brought me to the natural dog company because my dogs paws were the stuff off nightmares. Paw pads that look like hair which I learned was hyperkeratosis. Supposedly there is no cure for this. But I thought at the very least this would give him some relief as he must have been in some pain. Well he looks so much better already. The paws got soft enough that I was able to "trim" the filaments off sightly. Yes it was as gross as it sounds lol. He is not fully cured yet but his paws are so much closer to normal already. He is also in less pain as he is more tolerant of me putting the product on. Once he gets a bit more healed I will use the skin soother in-between the toes. The only con is that this stuff goes fast. I thought this was way too good to be true. My dog- Victoria, a catahoula- has severe allergies and has to be on a special diet, take medications, etc. even then, she has still had really bad allergies and chews her paws and legs. While she absolutely hates this stuff- I don’t know if it is the smell (it smells good, though), but on day 2 I saw a significant change in the redness and itchiness. I was such a huge skeptic because I’ve tried everything and I wasn’t expecting this to work and it has honestly been the only think that is not a medication that has helped. I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this…within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad…deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I'm quite surprised with the reviews that say this product doesn't work. For my dog, it truly was a LIFE SAVER! I've been battling with my dogs hotspots (and dry, flaky skin) off and on ever since we moved back to the Midwest, at least a year of her issues. I've tried shampoos, conditioners, a handful of trips to the vet to trial different foods, and hundereds of dollars later I honestly just gave up. I started putting alternative topical agents on her that simply gave a temporary resolution. While traveling out of town, she (Mini Schnauzer) had a really bad case, to the point where she was starting to bleed. Tea oil, hot spot spray and the above HomeoPet drops were what I returned with, after another visit to the pet store. After the first day her redness had diminshed greatly and she wasn't itching nearly as much. By two, she wasn't itching AT ALL. I decided to remove the Tea oil and spray since I'd used them in the past without long-term results. It's been a week and my schnauzer has had 3-5 drops a day, oral dose of this product and she is doing exceptional! Seriously! No redness, no scratching. Today I hadn't given her any since yesterday afternoon and she started scratching again. I gave her 3 drops and about a couple hours later, again, her scratching is gone. This product worked exceptionally on my dog. On the other hand, I don't think her issues were due to food allergies, vs environmental surroundings, my guess. I have a cat that has a tendency to lick patches of fur off her front legs when the weather turns either warm or cold in the summer and winter. The vet told me it's likely due to seasonal allergies. I bought this based on an article I read by a dermatologist who recommended this for allergies. I use this in conjunction with Zyrtec, apoquel and a strict diet for my dog with allergies. I have only given 3/8 applications but I have seen an improvement! His fur is softer. He still has an allergic reaction at times but recovers quickly. He is starting to grow some hair back. My daughter doesn't like the smell but it reminds me of sandalwood and I don't think it's bad. I'm hoping that this will help his allergies.Jackson
My Veterinarian recommended this product for my Frenchie who suffers from environmental allergies that affect her skin and coat. I have been using it for about 8 months now and it works wonders for her. I absolutely recommend it. This product amazed me!! Let's just say my cat has been SUFFERING for a couple years now! I'm so sad and embarrassed to say that but after countless vet visits she found no relief. We tried antihistamines, a very long food trial to see if it was a food allergy, steroids and two other meds and absolutely nothing worked. Her personality was totally different (she hid all the time and was completely miserable and antisocial). After using essential 6 she is wonderful and finally calm and relaxed and not itchy all the time. I felt so bad for her that I couldn't help her. This product completely cured her! She's at peace now and is part of the family again. Spread the word to anyone you know. Any itchy animal should at least try and see if this works for them.
