However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. When i lost my beloved Tig, i then adopted 3 boy cats. For 3 weeks it was absolutely nuts in my house, and i felt i was babysitting the litter boxes because all 3 boys had the runs. She's a beautiful, petite little 2 year old that is so incredibly loving. We bonded right away. But the chronic diarrhea was really hard to put up with. She would have trouble making it to the littter box in time and track it all over the house, etc. Her stool consistency was pure liquid, and I know she wasn't happy either. I tried other homeopathic drops, prescription food, grain free and minimal ingredient diets. Well and Good Anti-Diarrhea Liquid did work. Both of my dogs had diarrhea so I started them on boiled chicken, rice and pumpkin with 1/3 cup a water the first three days. After three days their poop was firmer but still soft so I purchased this at Petco. They would not take this straight they did not like it so I mixed one teaspoon per dog bowl added two tablespoons of pumpkin then 1/3 cup of warm water stirred it up and they both licked the bowls clean. The first dose was given to them at 4 PM and their poop was a lot firmer by 11 Pm that evening. The next morning at 6 am I gave them the second dose and by 12 noon everything was back to normal in the one dog. I will give the third dose tonight at 6 P. I will say for me it really worked! Mixing with water and pumpkin allows the dogs to get more water in their system. HIGHLY recommend! These past few days have been a nightmare with my 12-year old Maltese having severe diarrhea. It's never been this bad before. It started randomly 2 days ago. That morning she had normal poops but randomly in the afternoon she started having diarrhea. We try to administer this before we feel our dog will get anxious or as soon as we notice her anxiety acting up. Molly is a 9YO terrier mix (50lbs) who gets stressed over fireworks, wind, loud noises and when strangers come over. It takes about 15 min for the effects to kick in but once they do she'll calm down during a storm and lay down rather than pace. During fireworks she'll typically find a corner to hide in but when she's had a dose she'll usually sit calmly on the couch. I will say however it is slightly difficult to administer. We need to force it on her (which doesn't help the situation) but we try and counter that with a few treats after for doing a good job in taking her medicine. I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. Our German Shepherd dog was stricken with a life threatening systemic fungal infection. After a year of treatment she miraculously survived. My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. I started looking else where and found these. After 3 months of being on hepato support 1/2 capsule in the morning and the other half in the evening her levels were right back down to a decent level and she is back to her lovable happy self. I just need to give a major shout out to this amazing company! My Tika girl was having chronic diarrhea. She is now 10 years old and I was convinced there was something majorly wrong with her. The vet couldn’t figure anything out and we were dealing with issues for months! Being in a new house with a beloved dog having accidents everywhere was so hard to deal with. I tried so many different foods that were high end and supposedly good to help with digestion and bowel issues and nothing was working. 🙁 During one of my many hours of research on what I could do to help my girl I came across Dr Harvey’s food and all the reviews from pet parents suffering from the same issues as us (and others even much worse). Of course I was a bit skeptical as always because it sounded too good to be true but decided it couldn’t hurt to try. I ordered a sample and it was so amazing that I never looked back. It’s a bit pricy but honestly not as bad as some bagged food with all the unhealthy additives or even the script foods. Hi! A miracle has occurred in Forest Hills! I took Baci on a long walk in the hope of increasing her appetite and then fed her Canine Health. I used raw lamb as a protein and then added a couple of the freeze dried tripe pieces, Runs Be Done and a little liverwurst. Well to my amazement she actually ate the food! I am a little concerned about the liverwurst because of the toxins in the liver, but it was only about an ounce. Hopefully, she will continue to eat the food as I believe this will help what I believe to be IBS.

This is an excellent product with the best ingredients to heal (not just treat) intestinal lining problems. My girl has a bad case of IBS and was constantly crying and in horrible pain even after I put her on an organic home made diet. I bought the power version and for 3 weeks I mixed it in with her wet food as directed and did NOT do anything. Her 24×7 pain was excruciating for her and for me so I did not give up. After doing a lot of research, I realized that similar 'human' products for the same problems suppose to be given 30 minutes before meals. So, I diluted it in water and added a bit of sweat potato (for taste) and gave it to her, 30 minutes before her food, and IT WORKED! Like a miracle her pain was gone. For the first time after 3 months she was able to sleep peacefully. She is 11 lb so I give her 1/8 tsp of the powder and ¼ tsp of sweat potato (for taste) diluted in 1-2 tablespoons of water, 20 minutes before her meals, 3 times per day. I also give her probiotics, digestive enzymes, DGL(Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice), and Seacure (contains L-glutamine which repairs the mucosal lining) all mix with her food and I am happy to said she is no longer in any pain and on her way to full recovery! Just remember if you get the power version dilute it in water first (you don't have to do that with the liquid version) AND please give it 20 minutes BEFORE meals if your dog is in bad shape like mine.Loving pet owner
I occasionally add this to my 13-year-old cat's food, or even administer a few drops directly into his mouth, when he's having tummy troubles. He will sometimes have trouble with vomiting due to mild IBD, and once due to pancreatitis. Every time I've used this product it has stopped or greatly lessened his vomiting incidents. My Bichon has inflammatory bowel disease which has caused loose stools sometimes with blood. I tried changing her food, but she still had bouts of it. She has also been very uncomfortable a few times when she had an episode of it. Since I started giving her the Colon Rescue 2-3 times daily she has had only one or two short episodes of diarrhea. She is eating well and seems quite healthy. I also give her a probiotic daily and I think the Colon Rescue and the probiotic have really helped her heal. NOW PETS CARDIOVASCULAR SUPPORT GREAT PRODUCT! My cat, who is 10 years old this July, had a heart murmur a year ago which was rated about a 5. Vet said I should take my cat to have an echocardiogram to see how the heart is & what was causing the murmur. I took it from my cats. One especially has an issue with the eyes. The orange tabby has a wet eye when he eats. He is very picky so I try to hide the powder in his wet food. Let me say that this helped him a lot especially when given every day. I know that L lysine is very good for viruses. like Herpes virus and EBV. My orange tabby has herpes virus and was pretty sick when he was young. I do not know about the taste but if you have a picky cat like me better hide it in his favourite wet food. It’s very sad to share that we lost our dear Cat due to kidney stone / kidney failure just a few days ago. After receiving this product I quickly added into my cat’s diet after he came back home from hospitalisation. However he slowly lost his appetite until we could not give him any water, food and medication. Just want to share how important it is to give your love pets enough fresh water and not depend on those conventional dry food and wet cans. I had my cat when he was only 3-4 months old 11 years ago. But the Simple Solutions fit her well, hold a lot when she has an accident and have never leaked. And she has not gotten them off. A big plus is they can be re-used over and over, and the tabs work as well as they did the first time, I put them on. One more plus is the price, compared to other disposables. Since I can\'t revise my previous review, here\'s an update. The diapers are still incredibly absorbent, however the last 2 days we\'ve been finding her in a full diaper but we\'ll also find pee somewhere on the floor. And she\'s somehow still dry? It\'s very confusing. It must be caused by the diaper shifting when she sleeps in it, or something. I really wish there was and XXS option for this product or that it fit a little more tightly to the body. The tapes should also have more grip than just the ends. I was a little concerned with just how many products they carry all looking the same but yet with a different label. So I contacted the company asking them if they did a third-party independent lab analysis on all of their products and I was happy to hear that they said they did. But then when I asked if those results were available to the public they told me no. Why would you do a third-party independent lab on your products and then not allow the public to request a copy or post them. As with human supplements, animal supplements are not regulated like human products. These companies can get away with putting just about anything they want in a jar and slapping a label on it telling you whatever they want is in the product. I ordered 3 jars of the Allergy Immunity chews and 1 jar of the Allergy Skin Health. dog would not eat the chews. They smell awful and they must have tasted exactly like they smelled because he spit them out every time I gave him a chew. I even tried masking the taste with peanut butter, but he licked the peanut butter off and left the chew. The only way I could get him to eat the chew is if I wrapped it in chicken, and sometimes he would eat the chicken and still spit out the chew. It was so frustrating. I emailed the company and told them the situation. They told me to send back the 2 unopened jars and to donate the open jars or throw them away. After sending back the unopened jars they said that they are only replacing 2 jars even though I purchased 4.
This ordeal has been frustrating.
