I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. I'm quite surprised with the reviews that say this product doesn't work. For my dog, it truly was a LIFE SAVER! I've been battling with my dogs hotspots (and dry, flaky skin) off and on ever since we moved back to the Midwest, at least a year of her issues. I've tried shampoos, conditioners, a handful of trips to the vet to trial different foods, and hundereds of dollars later I honestly just gave up. I started putting alternative topical agents on her that simply gave a temporary resolution. While traveling out of town, she (Mini Schnauzer) had a really bad case, to the point where she was starting to bleed. Tea oil, hot spot spray and the above HomeoPet drops were what I returned with, after another visit to the pet store. After the first day her redness had diminshed greatly and she wasn't itching nearly as much. By two, she wasn't itching AT ALL. I decided to remove the Tea oil and spray since I'd used them in the past without long-term results. It's been a week and my schnauzer has had 3-5 drops a day, oral dose of this product and she is doing exceptional! Seriously! No redness, no scratching. Today I hadn't given her any since yesterday afternoon and she started scratching again. I gave her 3 drops and about a couple hours later, again, her scratching is gone. This product worked exceptionally on my dog. On the other hand, I don't think her issues were due to food allergies, vs environmental surroundings, my guess. No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. I've been taking care of homeless cats and trying to find them forever homes for around 8 years. A lot of the babies have gotten eye infections. I live on disability and barely get by, so I can't afford to take them to a vet when something is wrong. I have to figure out how to heal them and I really like to do things natural when I can. I've tried everything I've heard about from L-Lysine, to apple cider vinegar on the neck, to antibiotic cream in the eyes, to Terramycin. Terramycin works the best, but only 1 store has it, it's $17 for a tiny tube, it's not a natural medicine, and it has to be put in the eyes which can't be done to the ones that can't be caught, so I can't and don't like to use it all the time. I'm always researching on the internet and found this site. Boy, am I glad I did! There's grown cats here that sneezes a lot so they need this also. I used this on 2 seven week old kittens that had eyes in terrible shape and were cleared up after putting it in their food twice. Also, I had read an article years ago about how good Plant Enzyme & Probiotics are for cats and dogs and I bought some for my cat. I ran out and low and behold, they sell it. I'm a customer for life!

Love this product. My poor sheltie gets these tribble rashes on her belly and the vet gave her a skin antibiotic plus a steroid shot to see if it was maybe a bacteria infection but the rash remained so i just assumed the rash was from some skin allergy she must have from God knows what. I saw this product at Petco and decided to give it a try. It got rid of the rash within about two weeks of using it about three times a day and she doesn't lick it off like the Benadryl cream i had been putting on her in the beginning. I also changed her food to Hills science for sensitive skin and stomach along with giving her the Septiderm-v shampoo bath every couple of weeks and overall it seems to be working! The rash still comes back here and there so of course i have to keep putting it on her but at least it keeps it at bay.Taby

We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. Unfortunately this gave my dog really bad diarrhea and discomfort. I wasn't sure if this was what caused the diarrhea initially so I took her off this for a couple days and added it back into her water after she recovered, she proceeded to have diarrhea again the next day. My dog suffers from hot spots on his feet and it makes him just miserable as one heals and another pops up in a different spot. My vet recommended I try a shampoo formulated specifically for hot spots and I found this at a major online retailer. A sixteen ounce bottle ran me about $7 as an add on item which I thought was quite economical since my dog is so small and that one bottle should last me through many, many washes. The formula uses Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera, Chamomile to calm dry, itchy skin and despite being a bit strong smelling during the bathing process the smell does not linger after drying. After the first bath with this I noticed a definite improvement in my dog's spots and he seemed more relaxed and less prone to lick the sore areas. After a month of weekly baths his spots were gone and they have not reappeared since. He also had a bit of a dandruff problem during the summer as he likes to sit outside and sunbathe which dries out his skin. LOVE Vet's Best Hot Spot shampoo. My dog developed seasonal allergies a few years ago and was sneezing and itching SO badly she was ripping her fur out in multiple places. I love how versatile this is! I have 3 dogs. My largest being 80lbs and two 10lb dogs. I love that unlike some calming treats that have to be broken up due to size or more for my larger dog this I can measure out and each dog gets just what they need. My GSD has bad separation issues (we adopting him and he was kenneled all the time so he gets really nervous) This calming infusion has taken the edge off. He seems to be much calmer in the past week when we give him it before bed or before we leave. My little dogs like it also. They loved the flavor and are excited for it.
My small Feist breed has developed severe separation anxiety and aggression which has become unsafe and unhealthy for her. I decided to try this calming solution because of its healthy ingredients and it's working wonderfully. I have to mix small treats with it so she will eat it but giving half of the recommended dose in the morning keeps her calm but still playful throughout the day. We give her the full recommended dose when we're gonna be gone for long periods of time. We have seen a drastic change in her behavior. She still wants to be close to us but is not longer whining and chewing household items. Her aggression has seemed to slow down as well. I highly recommend you try this for your dog if they are experiencing anxiety issues.
To put it simply, I have a nervous wreck of a pitty. I love that this is liquid and super easy to add to her bowl of food. My girl definitely noticed a change and we had to do a super slow introduction with it. We're still not up to the dose she should be at for her weight. She seems to be managing me being gone a little better. Less mess when I arrive home. Thunderstorms are another story. I notice absolutely no difference. I love the chamomile and Tryptophan and think she's getting benefits from each of these supplements.
