My 12 year old Yorkie suddenly starting losing the contents of her bladder during the night. The vet suggested checking for a UTI. I did some research and found that not only would that be expensive and require a course of antibiotics, many people found that the dog's UTI would come right back after they were done. Since she wasn't in pain when urinating and there was no sign of blood, I thought I would try apple cider vinegar first which evidently works very well. It didn't help so next I tried Tinkle Tonic which did help, but not completely. I called the company which makes it and they suggested using the Tinkle Tonic concurrently with the Leaks No More. No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. I have been using Resources Incontinence for my 18 month old Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer female dog, Strider, for ~3 months now. Strider was spayed early in life and I believe this is why she has an incontinence problem. Since Strider has been on this treatment, she has only had an accident once when she first started treatment, and I think, in part, it was because she was under a lot of stress. (I notice when under stress, she does not have as much control over her bladder). The directions state to give her 2 tablets twice daily for her weight, but I have been giving Strider 1 tablet in the evening and she has been doing very well (no leaks/voiding of bladder). However, she has not been under a lot of stress lately. We'll see at Christmas time when I expect the stress will pick up for her. Before her treatment with Resources, she had been dribbling or voiding her bladder about once per day and many times a lot more than this. I have not seen any side effects so far and it is a good value since I am only giving her 1/4 the recommended dose with good results. If it still works this well after the Christmas stress, I would rate this product with 5 paw prints! ( I actually rate it now with 4.5 paw prints!) Also, Strider did not like the taste of the tablets, but if I lick the tablets (put my saliva/scent on the tablet), she will eat them without problems. She thinks anything that I eat must be good and it entices her to eat it if she thinks I have been eating it. Or, I can place a little grease on her tablet and she will eat it easily.Strider's mom
First, my dog does not take meds well – she finds a way to spit them out and it's always a process to disguise it. She GOBBLES these up…she even chews them! My 14.5 year old female Yorkie has had some problems with excessive thirst, frequent urination and incontinence. This formula absolutely cleared up her incontinence within 2 weeks. We took our cat to the vet after he woke me up in the early morning howling in pain trying to urinate in the litter box. We discovered he had a UTI and his bladder was very inflamed and full of struvite stones. After a round of antibiotics and other meds to relax his urethra and dissolve the stones, along with new prescription diet food, I started researching other ongoing preventative maintenance options. I ran across Tinkle Tonic in an online forum and was shocked at all of the glowing reviews of how it had been a miracle worker for their pet's issues. So far Tinkle Tonic has been working very well. I see large clumps of pee in the litter box now. We give him about .30 ml. in the morning with regular wet food and then his prescribed UTI Hill's Science Diet food at night. An overnight stay at the vet and a midnight run to the emergency vet for fear of stones or crystals for our cat who was diagnosed with FLUTD since he was a kitten, and being told each visit that it was just chronic inflammation (a frustrating but common side effect of FLUTD) and there wasnt much the vets could do other than pain meds and anti inflammatories. Needless to say we were ready to try some additional preventative care and heard good things about this product. Its been 2 months now of adding the tonic to our cat's prescription wet food and so far so good. He doesn't notice or seem to mind the taste, no adverse effects of adding the recommended dose to his diet and best of all hes been happy and healthy. Seems to really help. It doesn't take much, either. I only give my cats 3 drops per day, and that seems to be enough to keep things flowing the way they should. One of my males had a problem when I introduced a new cat into the household, he wasn't stopped up, but did start holding it in and that caused inflammation. After a vet visit and meds from the vet to help him through the initial problems, this has helped keep him from holding it in again. It won't work miracles, if a cat, especially a boy, doesn't urinate for a period of 24 – 48 hours, take him in to the vet to make sure there's no blockage since that can very quickly become life-threatening, but this is good for maintaining things in working order.ageek33k

While I didn't love the smell of this, it fulfilled it's purpose. My significant other I adopted a puppy last summer, and her previous owner clearly made no effort to train her. This product literally saved my cats life along with the Blood Sugar gold. I noticed my cat was drinking tons of water, bloated and not walking well due to arthritis. I took him to the vet. Spent 576 dollars to be told he has diabetes, congestive heart failure and arthritis. He is 12 years old and has been a great pet. I started my dog on these drops about a month ago, as we were having trouble with uncontrolled high blood sugar. My 9 lb dachshund mix was on 6 units of novolin N twice a day and had blood sugar staying into the 400 consistently. She also has Cushings disease which she had not been treated for. My Maltese Poodle, who is 12 years old was diagnosed the beginning of December with Diabetes.
