Although Yeast Free Fido seems to be helping my dog, I have a major problem with your company for which I will have to add to and update my review. Your kit does not supply enough of the Yeast Guard and Digest for my large 70lb dog for 60 days. This is also obvious as those containers are smaller than the the Gut Guard container. I had subsequently ordered the kit 2 more times so as to administer the complete program and extend the 60 days as my dog was put on an antibiotic for 3 weeks for a UTI. Recently, I needed Yeast Guard but could not purchase it online by itself. Because you do not give enough of the Digest and Yeast Guard for my dog in the kit, I, as stated have had to reorder it 2x . Then I needed more Yeast Guard again, but could not order it online. I called your company and the associate was very apologetic about not being able to order the Yeast Guard ONLY, online. He proceeded to order me the Yeast Guard over the phone. I, presently, again, NEED THE YEAST GUARD to balance the program to complete the 60 day treatment. I have called your company and the associate stated that they cannot sell it separately and I must by the kit. She repeated this to me even after having spoken to her manager. (supposedly). I do not understand WHY you DO NOT SELL ALL THE PRODUCTS INDIVIDUALLY ONLINE. I am very upset about this as I thought your company was on the 'up and up' as they say. I am NOT going to purchase a whole kit again. If I cannot purchase the Yeast Guard separately, I am sorry to say that I think you are trying to force people to buy the whole kit and spend more money than necessary. I did receive a reply to my email regarding this issue. Though apologetic, it stated that I could only replace the Yeast Guard by purchasing the kit as their inventory for just the Yeast Guard was insufficient to be able to sell individual jars. It also stated THAT THE COMPANY IS AWARE THAT THE KIT IS INSUFFICIENT WITH THE YEAST GUARD AND DIGEST FOR LARGE DOGS. We are still using Yeast Guard after 4 days. Ears smell clean now but Charli our 5 month old puppy shakes her ear a couple times a day almost each day. In addition to Yeast Guard, we are cleaning the ears with a good purchased ear wash. Charli refused her food if the supplement was added so we have to put the powder in a soft cheese "pill pocket" that we make so we can fool her, and it works! We are are supplementing her raw food diet with Better Bones, Guts & Glory, and Digest, all which mix in her food just fine. Fingers crossed, hoping to see signs if ear problems going away.Cindy R.

My dog is so persnickety, I can't even hide these in his food. I expected they would have a meaty flavor that I could trick him with, but he can smell them even if they are tucked into a piece of meat. I have a pill cutter that I used to cut these into quarters and tuck into a piece of meat, but there is no tricking him. He'll eat pieces of sausage without the pill but not the ones with the pill. I have NEVER encountered a dog before in my life such as this one. He will sniff something, and if it doesn't meet his criteria, he will let it be and never touch it. My pets tasted it but I have different reactions. Two of them eat it with no difficulties since first taste. But one is still resistant to eat it so I started to "hide" it inside another supplement (petnc Skin & Coat, which is a great product). I have a mare who has super sensitive skin. She was out to pasture in the spring and before I could notice the gnats got to her belly and it was bad. She had hair falling out, was rubbed raw, swollen, itchy, scabby… I used this with a combo of fly/gnat spray every night after brushing and it was magically healed in a week. I will always have a bottle of Banixx in my house now. I have a Great Dane mix that has severe skin sensitivities. She was developing yeast infections on her skin and nothing would work to give her relief. Her hair kept falling out. I used this on my golden retriever hot spots . It’s allergy season , and I normally use a cream on my dogs . This product wasn’t messy , and my dogs didn’t mess with their hot spots again . This has been a complete life saver. My elderly dog keeps chewing one specific spot. With many expensive vet trips, we've tried so many things that I was feeling discouraged. My pet Koko is a 4 year old Cooker S and he has certain spots on his body that will itch until the fur is gone and the skin is broken. The hydrocortisone didn't seem to be doing enough. Cujo is prone to ear infections. I have used this product with great success to treat them. Others have been prescribed, msny were thick petrolatum jelly consistency. Helped my pup with her ear infection. But it came back two months later. So instead I googled and found that if I got Monistat and Hydrocortisone (equal parts) and applied it to the outer ear affected then thinned it out with some water and dropped it into her ear, it was just as good.

I'm quite surprised with the reviews that say this product doesn't work. For my dog, it truly was a LIFE SAVER! I've been battling with my dogs hotspots (and dry, flaky skin) off and on ever since we moved back to the Midwest, at least a year of her issues. I've tried shampoos, conditioners, a handful of trips to the vet to trial different foods, and hundereds of dollars later I honestly just gave up. I started putting alternative topical agents on her that simply gave a temporary resolution. While traveling out of town, she (Mini Schnauzer) had a really bad case, to the point where she was starting to bleed. Tea oil, hot spot spray and the above HomeoPet drops were what I returned with, after another visit to the pet store. After the first day her redness had diminshed greatly and she wasn't itching nearly as much. By two, she wasn't itching AT ALL. I decided to remove the Tea oil and spray since I'd used them in the past without long-term results. It's been a week and my schnauzer has had 3-5 drops a day, oral dose of this product and she is doing exceptional! Seriously! No redness, no scratching. Today I hadn't given her any since yesterday afternoon and she started scratching again. I gave her 3 drops and about a couple hours later, again, her scratching is gone. This product worked exceptionally on my dog. On the other hand, I don't think her issues were due to food allergies, vs environmental surroundings, my guess. I use this product on the vulva of my female golden retriever. She has a skin flap that holds in moisture, so she has a chronic skin condition there if not treated. It causes her to "scoot" constantly due to a discharge. This ointment was quickly and entirely effective for eliminating the symptoms. The results with Entederm are quick. The frantic scratching ceases within a day, usually, and the abrasions heal within a few days. If your dog gets paw and skin dermatitis you need to get this! My golden retriever gets it from outdoor allergies especially from grass. It clears up in 2 days when I apply it overnight very generously. His paws turn super red and swollen but this has been a miracle. My Maltese/Shih Tzu has allergies and also a propensity for yeast infection on her skin. I have tried many things to help her and this literally was my last resort. She had been to the vet and put on meds including steroids and had all the tests for mange, etc. But nothing helped. This spray has greatly reduced the red inflamed hot spots and she is itching less. It may not be a cure-all, but it is helping her and she doesn't smell as yeasty anymore. I lightly spray it on her in the morning. I also spray a cotton ball and wipe out her yeasty ears. This product seems to be relieving our two small dogs itchy paws. It is safe, so need to worry when they investigate what was rubbed on their paws. We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. Even though the regimen is over, we are still bathing him regularly and applying the Skin Soother. That was over a month ago and he continues to look better than ever! My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. My 22 month old extremely active male yellow Lab, Gus, developed redness and a rash on his belly area while running him 5 miles every day in and around rice fields in Glenn County, located in the Sacramento Valley in Northern California. Recieved a 3oz bottle of Vetericyn Plus Hotspot Antimicrobial Hydrogel for free in exchange for an honest review. I have to say, this stuff is amazing! My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. The day I received it, I rubbed down her belly with it (this is where she itches the most) and it seemed like she felt instant relief. When she starts scratching, I apply a thin layer of the gel and she stops almost immediately. And it lasts for hours! How does this product compare to other products you've tried? This product seems to be the equivalent to one that I was prescribed for my cat from the vet. My cat seems to have a habit of biting her fur off, usually after I have put flea medication on her. We have discovered she is a bit allergic to ingredients in most flea medication. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I'd have to wrap his paws and watch him like a hawk. Not so with this! He stays away from it so it can work…bonus points bc spray plus consistency is easy application. This and the shampoo has cleared up a terrible yeast infection that my 10 year old Westie had come down with, he was so miserable, we had even talked about having him put down, it had gotten that bad.
