No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. It was really draining his energy. Even in the summer, he was spending all day in his heated bed. The only thing my vet knew of that might help was an off-label use of Cerenia, which is expensive and was hard to get him to take. Out of desperation I tried this, and that same day I could tell a noticeable difference in my cat's ability to breath and how he felt. My dog went a few days with excessive "goop" from his eyes. Since my dog hasn't had a history with this, and doesn't seem to have seasonal allergies, the vet suggested an antimicrobial for the eye irritation and I went with this ophthalmic gel based on the luck I've had with other Vetericyn products in the past. I started with a tiny drop on the corner of my dog's eye to be sure he wouldn't have any reaction to it. Later that day, I went ahead and applied a few drops in each of his eyes. I applied the gel two times a day for three days in a row and by the fourth day his eyes had stopped having discharge. It is almost like my dog knew the drops would make him feel better as he kept his head very still when I applied the gel to his eyes. The shape of the dispenser where you squeeze the product out of makes it very easy to apply the gel to their eyes. While it is a "gel," it comes out of the dispenser fairly quickly which I find allows for an accurate application. The gel-like substance is great to confirm that you got the gel where you want it to go. Went out one morning and caught a glimpse of what looked like a little scratch on my horses eye. Upon inspection the eye itself was untouched but the eyelid was cut about an inch long from the back corner towards the front. I cleaned it and figured I would just leave it alone. Our dog seems to like the way it feels in his eyes. He is totally blind but he doesn't try to rub it out, as with other drops that veterinarians have prescribed in the past. In fact at morning and night both, he seems to sense when it is time for us to put in his drops. He starts barking at us when it's time and bumps his way into the kitchen, where we usually apply them. My animals tend to get what I call "goopy eyes" from time to time, mostly irritated from hay or just allergies or dust etc. I have used products similar to this in the past. I used this antimicrobial gel to help clear the irritants in their eyes. It worked and seemed to soothe their eyes right after I used it… However, unlike the current product I use, I found myself having to use it again a few hours later because the symptoms had come back. Compared to another brand that I use for the same purpose, I would not switch at this time and would not buy this product. As far as recommending it to a family member or friend, if what they were using was not working – I would recommend using it and giving it a try. I have actually passed along this sample to a family member who has horses and will be giving it a try with them. I am very pleased with this product. It has a great consistency-not too tacky but not too runny either. I use this product on our 2 dogs. One tends to get dirt/other irritants in her eyes and then her eyes get red and itchy. Before I scheduled a vet appointment I figured that I would give this product a try; I'm glad I did-within 2 days her eyes were no longer red or irritated. We received this free trial of Vetericyn Antimicrobial Eye Gel for Pets and decided to test it on our 3 year old English Shepherd, Cooper. Cooper's favorite past time is running through long grasses in our field, which seem to cause him to get eye goobers. Cooper was very unhappy to get the eye gel drops and we often used 2 or 3 times more product than needed since so much ended up on his face and muzzle. Despite the challenges we faced when applying the eye gel, we were happy with the results. After 2 days of 2 applications each, Cooper's eye goobers had disappeared. My 11 year old dog's eyes have become "sunken", the lid edges roll in and the lashes make his eyes uncomfortable. After treating an initial infection, I found that a tiny dab of petroleum jelly would help for about 24 hours. That was hard to get into his eye; I was afraid of hurting him with my little tool. My vet recommended Optixcare Ophthalmic Plus. It is a watery gel that I can drip into the eye, much safer to use. It doesn't give as good initial protection, but seems to be effective for about 30 hours. When he gets goopy eyes, I clean them and give him a dose. The last time he had surgery, it was pretty hard on him, so I am glad to have another option.Rural central Montana

As my dog has only been on Angel Eyes for less than 3 weeks it is hard for me, at this time, to review this product. I have not seen a difference yet, but I use it daily and expect it may take up to a month or more before I see results. I will give it the entire bottle to see if the results advertised become become the result I want. For those of you scratching your head wondering why Angel Eyes is no longer working, the news isn't good. I have a Pomapoo and a Bichon and the original wipes worked like a miracle and my four-legged babies had clean eyes always. Then the change happened. The miracle ingredient was removed about three years ago. I have tried many products and nothing works as well for my dogs. I'm glad that some of you still find some various forms of the product to your standards. Currently I use a fragrance free lotion, careful to put just a thin coating on the stain, rubbing it in gently to soften the hard crusty eye secretions and as it softens, gently use a small pet brush or fingers depending what works best for you and your pet. I also make a paste out baking soda and use a childs toothbrush and wash they stains, careful to keep it out of their eyes. Just my two cents. Use at your own discretion. I have been using this on My Maltese for many years, used to have antibiotic in it which I believed was the active ingredient that was working, and you had to get it from the U.S. Due to U.K. laws on this without prescription. The new version easily available in he U.K. is now just as affective and you can see it start to dry up the runny eyes in about 5 days of starting it. Keep using it until has totally dried the eyes and you don't need to keep using it. one level mustard spoon size amount on there dinner or on the tongue. I have been told pink staining is a fungal infection that can spread from eye to the mouth causing the whole face to be pink or black stained. This is my absolute favorite so far! They made a huge difference to my puffy eyes in the morning.I usually reach out to them in the morning over a cup of tea and they really refresh my sleepy eyes. My Doberman, Zara, suffers from food allergies. Her coat was dull and flaky. She broke out in these pimple-like bumps all over her back. My male cockapoo had started scratching and biting at his skin about a few months ago , it got so bad to the point where he wouldn’t stop until his skin was completely raw and bleeding and we had to keep a cone on him at all times. My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I reluctantly decided to try this, but we were in the middle of allergy season, and watching her suffer is just too much. Fast forward to July 2019, and my order came in the mail. I gave two of the chewables to my pup the next morning, not expecting much, but just hoping that there would at least be a little relief. Much to my surprise, she didn't scratch AT ALL that day!! Pros: I really like this item . Now I am not saying it does all the wonderful things they claim it will do. I like it because it feels amazing and relaxing after I cleanse my face and then use it to massage my face. The cool feeling is soooooo relaxing. .Detaching and attaching the part that goes in the fridge is easy so you are not fighting to put in on and off. I place mine in a ziplock bag and put it in the freezer for about 15mins. It stays nice and cool for about 25 to 30mins during the face massage.Con: I wish they make a case for the item . A nice sturdy little case would make it perfect. Presently I keep mine in a ziplock bag. It is not ideal for massaging areas under the eye. It's too big.Overall: I love the item and highly recommend it. It takes about 15 mins to cool and you can relax and massage your face for about 25-30mins. It is easy to attach and detach and clean. Bought a couple weeks back hoping to help with terrier/chi/corgi mix who accumulates massive amounts of buildup in her fur on the lower part of her eyes. The problem is, she has to eat it first and she refuses. Even when we've coated it with bacon grease or something she likes. This is a common issue with she and her brother. They both eat like pigs and we have to be careful with them. But, when we give them any kind of chewable, they just spit it out. If we wrap it or otherwise try and disguise it, they manage to eat everything but the item we need them to consume. It's very frustrating. I bought this oil for a new addition, a senior dog who is blind, deaf & itchy, with some loss of coat. It helps with her itching, BUT the product turned to a very thick, gloppy mess that resisted being pumped in very short order after opening. That the product has to be shaken well before every use needs to be more prominent, & shaking it causes the oil to escape the pump & fly everywhere.
