At first I was hesitant about ordering vitamins from online. I had never heard of Dog.com and came across it when I was searching for these vitamins. I have two senior dogs and they do well with these vitamins, keeps them acting and feeling young. My dog broke his back just behind his front legs. We opted for home care and eventually chiropractic. The chiropractor recommended Pain Plus. My Jack doesn't mind taking them…BUT…he chooses the dosage! When I see him being stiff I offer a whole one and if he doesn't take it, I break it in half and offer him half. My dog is a rescue, approx. 13 years old & 68 lbs. He has been with us for 10 1/2 years. About two years ago he was diagnosed with Wobblers syndrome. My 12 yr. old Lab suffers from terrible arthritis in her elbows and very weak tendons in her back legs. My dear Rottie has elbow arthritis. It hurt so much to see him so uncomfortable. We have had him on different supplements as well as carprofen. I have 6 small breed rescued dogs that are all seniors. I've been using this for all, except one dog for many years. One of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach and can't use this supplement (I believe it's a beef and/or liver sensitivity), but the other dogs have no problem at all. All of my dogs being seniors, 9yrs up to 18yrs (yep, 18 yrs old) have joint issues from age and this really seems to help with joint pain and even joint popping/cracking. They seem to be able to play more on this supplement too! If I ever run out, I noticed their joints popping more often and after only a couple days of using this product I notice a big difference. I haven't used this for larger breeds or younger adult dogs, but I imagine it would be great for them too, especially with all the joint issues that come with larger breeds. FYI, ALL the supplement sizes are the same product but with different sized scoops and dosage instructions based on the scoop size. I believe all the jars except the smallest size come with a larger scoop (supposedly 1oz, but seems to be more IMO) and the dosage instructions are based on the included scoop. My vet recommended Phycox Max joint chews several years ago. My golden retriever has taken them daily since. She gets one right after her morning feeding and barks at me if she thinks I have forgotten. She is 12 years old now and moves around better than most dogs her age.Kitty

As a runner with 4 dogs who are my daily running companions, I'm always looking into products that will help with the issues that go along with aging. I decided to try Quiet Moments because I was having difficulty finding the brand recommended by my veterinarian. My elderly Dachshund was having anxiety issues, so had looked for something "non-chemical" to treat her with if at all possible. I'm cautiously pleased after using it for three weeks now. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! Our lab was taking shots at the vet monthly for joint pain that started around 13 years old, eventually they also prescribed pain pills to take as needed. She no longer needs the shots. Our vet suggested this product after her shots were not as effective, she was slow getting around. She no longer needs the shots, lab will be 15 in three months and she has been jogging when outside playing in the last several months and we cannot remember the last time she was able to do that. While this product is a bit expensive, as everything else is that my vet wants me to put my dog on, the product does help a lot. I can tell a difference between now and before my 11year old dachshund started this product. He is also taking Phycox with it for his joints. He was taking Phycox first, but it didn't help enough…maybe because of his age and problems worsening with age. He is walking better and sometimes runs around playing. He had a hard time going up and down steps outside to go potty. My vet wanted me to keep him from going up and down steps or jumping up or down on furniture. Dachshunds shouldn't be doing this anyways because of their predisposition to back and joint issues. I still try to keep him from going up or down steps, even though he is doing better. But, since taking this product, he doesn't always wait for me at bottom of steps to pick him up, as he used to do when in more pain. I just ensure I keep watch to try and catch him before he gets to the steps. So, I know it is helping. He doesn't limp nearly as much now. He only limps a little here and there. He was limping almost all the time before the Movoflex. I'd also like to mention that prices on eBay have already started going up since my dog started taking this product about 6 months ago. So, when I found this pack of two that is just a little cheaper, I made the purchase. Every dollar counts when your pets are taking meds that cost more than my copays/meds. I should also add that, per my vet's recommendation, when purchasing things like this on eBay, you should always call the company that makes the product to confirm the lot# and expiration date on container, so you will know for sure it is real product, and can have eBay make them return your money if it isn't. Many people will sell products to us and they are not the real thing. Pets could be taking something that isn't even what you thought you bought. I have tried other products that contain glucosamine chondroitin and MSM but I found that nothing was as helpful to my dogs CCL treatment as this product. Whatever they use in this product, I find, is more effective than other products I have used.Maureen

Very good. Bought it because my dog fell down a flight of stairs in his excitement and was limping for a few days. After I gave this HA to him, he could walk as per normal and jump around after two days. Don't know if it was his natural recovery or the effects of the HA. But I have read alot about HA and trust that it does help the joints and can be absorbed into the body. However, I must say that it is an expensive purchase. I had been using Grizzly's pellets for joint aid, but saw this and decided to try it, because of the HA addition specifically. It's only been 2 days and I already see a difference. My 15 yr old Siamese could barely walk. He's chubby and arthritic. My vet gave me a couple of supplements to try, which did help a little, but not much. You know that TV show Ray Donavan? His brother Terry Donavan that has the really bad arm shake. Well my dog gradually came on with this shake in his arm/wrist. It got so bad over a 6 month period. Two of our rescue cat are 8yrs +. They ambled about day to day, but we didn't see them running or trotting much. One of them we'd seen a few times attempting to jump up on a table, then hesitating and stopping. A couple of times, she didn't quite make it and fell back to the floor on her feet. They've both been on these drops for 3-4 weeks. No problem with tasting them in their wet and raw food. They are both now moving more energetically. They've both galloped across the lawn and the one who had trouble jumping up to a table now has no problems. The turmeric colours the food with an orange hue but this seems to be ignored by the cats and they eat up with no problems. Always with a new supplement, we drip a very little tuna or tuna water on it and that helps them eat the first serving of food with new drops in. Or start off with one drop only, and work up. Things like reduced movement creep up gradually and it's a good idea to give all senior cats the Agile drops, as a joint support. Don't wait till things deteriorate! We only realised there was a problem when we saw one of the cats not able to jump up on a table that she formerly had no problems with, and then that got us thinking that we hadn't noticed them running around or galloping for quite some time!c b.

I got these chews for my little guy with chronic back and knee pain. He takes a daily dose of Carprofen (doggie ibuprofen) that I would like to get him off of since it is hard on his liver and kidneys. I'm hoping that these joint and hip chews will help make that happen. I like that these chews are made in the USA as at least the ingredients used in pet food products are regulated by the FDA. When you buy pet food products from other countries, it is a crapshoot if what you are buying is even safe for your pet. I also like that this formula is veterinary approved. As for flavor, my dogs will eat them, with caution. I have some aggressive snackers that usually gulp down treats the moment it enters their lips. This chew they actually take time to eat which lends me to believe that they are "on the fence" about the flavor. They are squishy so they are easy to break apart by hand which is convenient. I have an elder rescue who's been having issues with joint pain and discomfort. Since she has started taking these chews. She is able to go on walks without limping as much after. Her limp is not gone but improved. She enjoys the extra treats and finds them super tasty. The chews are soft and easy for older pets who may have issues with their teeth. The packaging is nice. I like that it's resealable and has an air vent for freshness. It gives me the reassurance that I'm giving my dog a healthy fresh and tasty treat that helps her feel better. I've like that ingredients come from the United States and Canada. My 85 lb. Plot Hound (Buddy) likes the taste of theses chews. I like that all the ingredients aide in hip and joint health. Plot Hounds can suffer from hip dysplasia. Hopefully these will help in the offset of this. He's a active 4 year old and I want him to stay that way. He has no stomach upset or loose bowels. Nick (my dog) loves these. He limped on one back leg or the other all summer long. The vet couldn't find anything wrong and put him on anti-inflammatorys which helped, but when the medication stopped the limp returned. I tried this and the limp stopped and hasn't come back. Since Nick is under 20 lbs, per package directions, I cut the chews in half so they are very cost effective. But most importantly Nick is running and jumping again.Sue

My boxer-beagle is 13.5 years old and has slowed down as she has aged. I’ve been giving her Prosense chews for several months and she has had improvements in mobility and ability to squat to potty. These work just as well, or better, than the higher cost chews. My baby also loves the flavor.Marsue

My Labrador had stitches in her front leg right on the ankle joint so it was at high risk of infection as very close to the bone. I was hoping this would negate the need for the huge buster collar however, she would still lick at it through the sleeve and make it wet therefore increasing the risk of infection to the wound. She therefore still had to wear the buster collar as well as the sleeve to stop her licking it. Within a couple of days, there was a hole in the material of the sleeve and since then, a further tear has developed, so the quality of the material is not that good. She has also worked out how to get her leg out of it so all in all, it hasn’t been that great! That said, I would still recommend using one as it was better than not having the wound covered at all but for me, it didn’t negate the need for a buster collar unfortunately.Julieann

1 Very happy owner and one calm snoring Dog. He`s been at the top of his leg the last few days and licked it raw . No socks long enough and a long sleeved T shirt was not a success . Ordered this sleeve out of desperation . Money well spent ….. came in a flash and as soon as I put it on he seemed really excited and happy, running round barking the way he does before we go a walk. Its made of a sweatshirt type fabric , the leg size is more important than body girth as there is lots of Velcro and poppers so easy to adjust so it fits comfortably , I`m glad I did not go for the XL as his chest measurement was borderline the L fits perfectly. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. Have used this with my lease horse who I groomed for before leasing for a few years now. The owner and I both love the product, but in the last 6 months, the recipe definitely has changed. I love this stuff!! My money earning barrel horse has a tendency to get sore after a race…which is no surprise given how hard she works! Once she is cooled out I put this gel on the areas she tends to get sore and I find that she has reduced soreness, her muscles recover quicker and she just a lot more comfortable. My mare's sports massage therapist can tell the difference between when I use it and when I don't so now I use it every race! In the summer I use the sore-no-more body wash and find it works wonderfully and the cold water helps keep her cooler too. I also use the poultice on her legs after a run to help keep inflammation and soreness to a minimum. I really haven't had these long enough yet to see if they are helping my big dog with his hips upon getting up or down however I can say this is absolutely one of the joint supplements that I have tried that they love to gobble down. That says alot especially for my big guy he is extremely picky about what he will eat. My little one well she is a hoover and would eat anything. I hope this is working as they really enjoy their special treat. Perfect size for small or large dogs and no funky smell to them. Will definitely be purchasing another jar and hope by then I see that it is helping. It's one nugget for small dogs 2 for medium and 3 for large which of course my guy is large so I'm going thru them rather quickly but as long as he likes them that is fine by me. These Bark & Spark Glucosamine Dog Treats are a wonderful thing! My dog LOVES them and goes crazy doing her tricks for them so I guess they are very tasty! Now that she is getting older and she is a larger sized dog, I know it's a good idea to give her these glucosamine treats to keep her hips and joints nice and lubricated. I love the ingredients in these and the fact that they are made in the USA. For her size and weight she can have 4 a day so be sure to read the dosage because a 10 lb dog would only get 1 a day. This is a very generous jar with 120 chews in them. What a great treat and a healthy supplement for our babies. I think it's good to be proactive and try to prevent arthritis pain for her.
