I ordered the 30 inch pan. It came in a box that says 27 inch pan. The problem is that the width is only 18 1/2 inches leaving at least 2 inches where it is too short for the crate. I am not sure how to make sure I get one to fit. My Midwest Kennels are in great shape but older. I am trying to find the right size to order. Have to have one at least 20 inches wide. We have a Great Dane that weighs 185lbs and he is quite lanky and tall, so finding something that accomodates him was not easy. This crate fits the bill. If I had to find a negative, it would be that he has to lay corner to corner in order to stretch out; but if he curls up, he is fine.This crate is going to take up ALOT OF ROOM! We knew when we ordered it that it was huge, but after it was set up, it was still a little shocking to see how much space it took up. If space is at a premium in your house, I would actually measure out how much room this crate will use before you order it, because I think you will be surprised!That being said, we are very pleased with it. It is exactly what we expected and is perfect for our Great Dane. It shipped to us within a week. Don't forget to purchase the crate tray, as they are sold separately and do not come with the crate. This kennel is HUGE! and totally worth the money (which is the best price out there) It is perfect for our Mastiff it gives him plenty of space to lay down and stretch out. and he still has room to grow. Delivery was super fast. It did take two of us to put it together but it wasn't hard It only took about 15 minutes. The only issue we had was that the front panel with the door the top clips are backwards so it doesn't hold the top like it should (you can't set anything on the top or it sags a little bit) so we just put a zip tie on it and it works great. I'm positive they would send us a new one if we requested it but it doesn't impair the structural integrity of the kennel so we didn't bother to ask. Other than that it is great and very sturdy Which we needed it to be cause our boy is a rough and tumble gentle giant with tons of puppy energy.morningstar2000
Be warned that these are a nightmare, the sizes quoted are wrong and they do not match the crate sizes stated. Why they sell them by the length of the crate when they need to fit across the width is beyond me but we had to get the 76 cm to get the right width for the 91 cm crate and it still didn't fit. Also they are too tight top to bottom so you can't remove a mattress for washing without taking it out. Poor design all round.Janet

Perfect for what I needed them for! I use these for cat food and water under a counter. I have two side by side, one with the water dish and one with the dry food. They fit perfectly (rather than sticking out as my last trays did), so now we can walk normally in front of the counter without having to step over the trays. And I don't have to worry about the water dish over flowing, because I know that the water will be captured in the tray and not end up all over my new floor! The tray has a small edge, about an inch tall. The tray isn't as thick as the boot tray I was using, but it still works fine. Love the lavender color with the crate, the design and quality. I bought the treat spreads and the one I’ve tried, my dog loves it. He is conditioned now to hear when I open the freezer drawer. The only downside to giving this to him, is that it only lasts a couple of minutes (even when frozen), and it’s not quite long enough to calm him down in his crate. I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. It does promote licking because that’s how your dog can reach his snack and it does calm them and it’s great that it goes in the crate but eventually when the spread or popsicle or whatever it is getting low a dog will chew because dogs are chewers. It’s not really that big of a deal you just have to supervise your pup and remove it. The really big issue with it is cleaning. The crate had obviously been used and returned. The metal was rusted in places and the plastic bottom tray was dirty. When I decided to return it, It was a challenge to get it back in the box. When I took it back to the store, I asked about a discount and received 15% off (the tax). I had previously bought one that was marked down by 50% because the box was damaged. I've owned dogs for the last 40 years. I've used MidWest wire crates for my last 4 dogs. This iCrate didn't disappoint. It's sturdy and and easy to put up and take down. I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! This is a very lightweight product with plenty of room for my 7 month old pup. She loves it. Easy to keep by the bedside, take to the car, travel with cozy den. I have not left her alone in this for long periods of time as a crate when I go out (still use a metal crate for that) as I don't know if she would try to chew on it being a soft crate and she's a puppy. I would try it though as it is very sturdy and she does not seem to be a strong chewer. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a soft crate. Seems well made. I had purchased two of these large crates in 1995 when I was showing my dogs I loved both of those crates. I still have one of the crates and needed another for my new dog that is 25lbs. I ordered the new crate and I was a little disappointed with the quality of materials now used in the production of the crates. The crate I have had for 20 years is better made. I do like the 2 or 3 new features on the new one and will be able to use the crate for the dog I have now. This crate is great for travel with well trained dogs.fjane

Ive had this crate for my dog for over a year. Its easy to set up and tear down and light enough for a woman to carry. These soft crates are for crate trained dogs. If you didnt use a crate when training your puppy it will not work for your dog. I have a 56 lb. Goldendoodle. She has plenty of room in the 42 crate and is very comfortable in it. Ive used it at dog classes and other dog activities. It is the number one soft crate used by members of our dog training club.matlyn333
I brought this in Oct 2022 for outing up in West Virginia Resort. Love it. My LG German Shepherd loves it, even the small dogs wanted to get some time in it. This kennel is a must have especially if you have an energetic puppy like I do. We use it when she gets overstimulated from playing. It’s a nice safe retreat for her. We have a powerfully built 40 pound mutt who can muscle her way out of her old crate by popping the single latched door open. We had to add an extra clip to the door to keep her in the crate, which is a pain getting the clip on and off to let her in and out. She can’t gorse the door on this crate open due to the double latches AND the extra “hook” on the tip that holds the latches in place. My little bulldozer can’t open this crate by force and go counter surfing, much to her dismay.TKettle

This is my first review on Bloomies, so that should say something. I just needed to obsess over this crate really quick. If you're on the fence, you've come to the right review. I can't tell you how many crates we went through to land at this one. It was super challenging to find crates that were beautiful, durable, and the right size. The bonus of the ability to break down and build at ease for travel was the icing on the cake for us! We needed something to match our decor but was also good for a small dog on the taller side (a lot of the small crates we tried were super short as well, which isn't super comfy for our babies). We were nervous about spending for a premium crate but we knew we had to try when all the other 4+ star reviewed crates we tried were just awful. (In this case, you get what you pay for!) We are so so glad we did. We are beyond relieved to have found a crate that looks good in any room in the house, and that the babies feel safe and comfortable in (I would recommend the Pawd Dog Pad that is sold separately here on Bloomies as it is super comfy and washes so well on delicate and air dry / hang dry). The first few weeks we accidentally had the lid reversed (the Kindtail logo should be facing forward) so just make sure you read the instructions when building it for the first time (sometimes I gotta slow down my eager husband, haha). The instructions are clear and concise, and the packaging is so classy. Once you've built it and deconstructed it a few times its a piece of cake, just gotta get the hang of how it all comes together and where the folds lay! The door latch gets more comfortable the more you use it and it becomes a breeze. I cannot recommend this crate enough and we are so happy to be done searching. These pics really don't do the Pawds justice with the pink lighting but we are in LOVE!

Some other good looking crates out there are either super heavy, bulky, or have too many unnecessary features for me. I love that the Pawd is truly portable, but still quite sturdy. I appreciate that all the connecting joints of the crate were smooth and fit perfectly together, without having to force pieces together, which shows me that attention to detail was put into the design and execution. I will say that I only bought the Pawd after my dog became full crate trained, and is no longer trying to chew through and escape her area. I don't actually use it to contain her with the door (which very nicely folds completely out of the way), but only as a nice den for my dog to chill in, so I can't speak to its ability to actually keep a dog inside. Like any other plastic crate, I suspect it would not be able to withstand aggressive chewers. I think the price is reasonable.Dee T.

A miracle! When we rescued our 5-month old pup, we were told she was crate trained, but when we brought her home to a generic metal wire crate she refused to go in it let alone rest or sleep in it. She was particularly sensitive to the sound and it was a constant struggle that felt like punishment for her. We hoped the Pawd we purchased would be more appealing to her, but we never expected what actually happened. Only minutes after unpacking the Pawd and Lounger, she walked into the crate on her own and laid down (see photo). It's a miracle. Our pup now has a cozy place of her own and we couldn't be happier. These products are high quality very functional. I was amazed how easy it is to set up the crate, open the box, take it out and pull it up. The quality is unbeatable and I have spent hours researching dog crates. It will last many years. You know the old saying " you get what you pay for", well in this case it is true! Love the lavender color with the crate, the design and quality. I bought the treat spreads and the one I’ve tried, my dog loves it. He is conditioned now to hear when I open the freezer drawer. The only downside to giving this to him, is that it only lasts a couple of minutes (even when frozen), and it’s not quite long enough to calm him down in his crate. He barks at me when he’s done and begs for more. Part of it may be that he’s thirsty when he finishes it. Or maybe he’s just not that well behaved yet, I don’t know.Amy O.
I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. It does promote licking because that’s how your dog can reach his snack and it does calm them and it’s great that it goes in the crate but eventually when the spread or popsicle or whatever it is getting low a dog will chew because dogs are chewers. It’s not really that big of a deal you just have to supervise your pup and remove it. The really big issue with it is cleaning. I literally have to run boiling hot water over it and use a teeny little wire brush to get all the food off and then I run it through the dishwasher. That’s why it gets four stars.Angela K.

These are the only crate beds I could find that were the exact right size for my crates AND were very cushy looking. The dogs love them. They're a little thin – our crates are in the garage and I'm afraid maybe the cold from the cement floor is coming up through the bottom. We have a HUGE crate and finding an affordable bed for it without spending $$$ was proving difficult. This is a little smaller than our crate, which is fine because it's big for our dog and leaves room for food and water bowls. It's super soft and our dog seems to love. I’m giving this 2 stars because the packaging SUCKED big time. The instructions was not in the box so I had to look on YouTube to figure out how to open the cage and then after I received my answer the instructions was in the tray which is at the bottom covered by paper. It was the dumbest thing ever because you cannot access the instructions until you put the cage together which hello defeats the purpose. Horrible!!!! Hopefully this cage is durable because one of the entry handles doesn’t seem secure when locked.Colneshia
This crate was perfect for my dog when he was a puppy. It had 2 doors to make finding a space for it easy and convenient. It also folds up so it can be easily tucked away when not in use. I am extremely disappointed in this product. We left our puppy in the kitchen for around 15 minutes and when we came to check on her, the bed was in a million pieces. It is not the least bit durable. You might tear it by looking at it. I spent $20 each on these and that is $40 I will never see again. Additionally, I think the stuffing in the bed is part of the reason that even my older dog started tearing into the bed to get at the green stuffing that is made from recycled plastic bottles. Horrible product. A refund would be the only way I would be happy in this situation!Jaclyn

This is a nice looking crate and it is substantial. It is also easy to move around. The main problem with it is that the clips to open and close the doors are annoyingly difficult. This product is a good product that can use some minor adjustments. I was surprised at how thin the pillow is. The crate has a hard bottom so the pillow should have a little thickness to it, but it does not. lf l had to guess, the pillow might be only milimeters thin. Another adjustment should be the ease of closing the side door and the sturdiness of the product when it's assembled. The side door sticks on one side of mine and the crate feels like it could collapse at times, although it never has. 0verall the product is good though and l still recommend it for its versatility.Heidi

I purchased 2 of these crates in white for the master bedroom in our beach condo. Assembly was quick and easy. These crates are SO much more attractive than plastic and metal dog crates. I placed the fronts of the crates side by side, and they are about 50" wide total. The large flat surface on top is nice for stacking the extra pillows from our bed when we go to bed at night. The crates are roomy inside, so if you're debating between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. At first, I didn't know if I'd like that they don't have a floor in them, but now, I love it because cleaning or moving them is so much easier. My dogs' beds fit great inside the crates. Really great crate! Looks nice in our family room! We upgraded from a similar we had hut our Lulu outgrew it and was having a hard time finding a large one with the same kind of door opening the previous one had. this one did not disappoint at all. Sturdy and our Lulu loves it. She is a 5 months chocolate lab and has plenty of room to grow to! This will be her forever little home! I bought this particular End Table Crate because of the features, namely the door that swings all the way open and can be secured to the side of the crate. It also looked the most like an end table with nice wood that is finished well. While it is not "fine furniture," it is exactly what it claims to be in its description and functions very well as both an end table and a crate. The reviews that I read are accurate. It is easy to assemble. It looks nice and my dogs find it comfortable. I also appreciate the fact that the floor of the crate is a removable plastic tray that is easily cleaned. However, if you're going to use the door, you need a lot of space for it to swing. I think it is a good value and I'm glad that I bought it but I wouldn't call it an "excellent" value because the quality of the construction and the finish is only good, with some of the joints not exact or expertly finished with even coating and no spots missed. There could have been a little more attention to detail. Overall, I have found this to be a very good product so far and would recommend it for homes with dogs who are not still in the chewing phase or like to scratch and dig. This is for trained adult dogs, not puppies or dogs still settling into crate training.DogLover52
