My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. The only thing my vet knew of that might help was an off-label use of Cerenia, which is expensive and was hard to get him to take. Dog – 50 pound female GSP with spay incontinence since 6 yrs old (now 10). This product does help reduce incontinence. However, depending on the severity of the incontinence, it may not clear up the problem completely. When incontinence first started, there was leakage several times a day (mostly during rest). After 2 months of use (2 pills/day), this product reached its full effect and leakage reduced in frequency and severity (a few times a week in smaller amounts). She will still leak if she drinks a fair amount of water. My dog generally eats a fresh food based diet. She gets quite a bit of hydration from her food and doesn't drink as much from the water bowl. When her diet becomes more kibble based, she's thirstier and drinks from the water bowl. When she's drinking water, it's a large amount over a short time. Shortly after drinking is when she tends to leak. Dog has been on synthetic hormone DES before which works great (maintenance dose of 1 mg pill/week). There's controversy over DES and it's not for every dog. Bladder Strength along with frequent potty breaks (after she drinks) keeps the problem in check enough to not require her DES prescription to be renewed. My dog was not leaking or having accidents, she just suddenly needed to urinate at around 5 in the morning, instead of the normal 9 or 10 o'clock time, and also had to go more often than normal. I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. My dog has not had any accidents in the house and seems to have as strong a bladder as with the prescription med. He does seems to be emptying better, longer duration, which helps increase the time between trips outside. I believe it's worth a try.dhopp45
Label said good quality and taste they might be but to tell the truth, I will probably never know cause my dogs spit them out. I've tried to sneak pills in hot dogs, works sometimes most times if they find them dogs turn their noses up and walk away. Hate to give a poor review but why didnt they just put a little bit of flavor in these? I mean it says there chewables, That to me says Dogs will chew the things and like to take their medicine. These pills are white with no flavor at all no smell either, Dogs smell before they eat and if there is no smell they wont eat em. I read where someone said it did not work, i'm here to tell you that it worked for my Pyredoodle. You have to follow the instructions. I gave her 2 a day for 2 weeks and she quit having accidents. My boxer has been on this food for years now, but recently I've noticed her being more and more gassy and the ITCHING. It's out of control. I switched her to rice and chicken to reset her system and symptoms went away. Back onto the food and she's so GASSY and ITCHY. One of our dogs starting having a lot of accidents after she turned 10. We started implementing this into her diet and definitely have seen an improvement. The accidents didn’t stop completely but they went from a couple a day to once every couple of weeks. Unfortunately, one of my adopted dogs developed a urinary condition resulting in crystals forming in the urinary canal. But fortunately, my vet diagnosed the problem early and prescribed Hill's u/d dog food for long term control of this condition. After starting this regimen with the u/d diet, immediate positive results occurred and my dog has thrived on the Hill's brand. My terrier Tessa had 2 bladder stone surgeries a year apart. First she had struvite stones, the second time she had oxalate stones. She began this food after her second surgery and has been healthy for a year and a half. My heart broke when she decided out of the blue to stop eating it one day. I had to switch to a different brand but am worried she will get stones again. If she wasn't such a picky eater I would still have her on this food today, it sure did the trick. And funny thing was she loved it for a year and a half! Who knows, she is a strange dog.

I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. Unfortunately, within several weeks, she stopped eating and seemed in pain. One morning before I could take her outside she passed quite a load of bladder stones on the floor. I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. Then I noticed it would take her several tries when she would go out to empty her bladder so I expected that the inability to empty her bladder was symptomatic of a UTI. When looking for something to help before another trip to the vet I saw that these bladder bites had high ratings and gave them a try and they worked great, all of her issues even the exited leaking stopped. That was right after I adopted her a couple years ago and during our recent move with everything packed and hard to find she wasn't getting these regularly within a couple months she had started the little bit of leaking again when excited. Dog – 50 pound female GSP with spay incontinence since 6 yrs old (now 10). This product does help reduce incontinence. However, depending on the severity of the incontinence, it may not clear up the problem completely. When incontinence first started, there was leakage several times a day (mostly during rest). After 2 months of use (2 pills/day), this product reached its full effect and leakage reduced in frequency and severity (a few times a week in smaller amounts). She will still leak if she drinks a fair amount of water. My dog generally eats a fresh food based diet. She gets quite a bit of hydration from her food and doesn't drink as much from the water bowl. When her diet becomes more kibble based, she's thirstier and drinks from the water bowl. When she's drinking water, it's a large amount over a short time. Shortly after drinking is when she tends to leak. Dog has been on synthetic hormone DES before which works great (maintenance dose of 1 mg pill/week). There's controversy over DES and it's not for every dog. Bladder Strength along with frequent potty breaks (after she drinks) keeps the problem in check enough to not require her DES prescription to be renewed. My dog was not leaking or having accidents, she just suddenly needed to urinate at around 5 in the morning, instead of the normal 9 or 10 o'clock time, and also had to go more often than normal. My Vet did a Urinalysis, bloodwork, X-rays, and Ultrasound and everything was perfect, so I researched the issue and found this supplement. Back In Nov 2015 we had to run our Dog in the middle of a stormy rainy night to emergency and learned we need to pay almost $4k after all said and done to remove Bladder stones and some were in his urethra. This was not an option. So the vet drained his bladder, prescribed some pain killers and prescribed Hills u/d prescription food. She said he must only eat this food. I was concerned "Swiper" would not eat this he is picky. But he loves it. Happy to report he passed whatever stones and is loving life now March 2016. Life is Good! Thanks Hills for making such a fine product good enough for my dog to like to eat. Little costly but I still saved $4k in vet bills, so worth it!
Our vet actually told us it would be much cheaper to buy online than through them. We first ordered the small size and saved about $15. We were impressed how fast the process of the vet giving permission to actual delivery of the special dog food. This last order we saved even more by buying the largest size. I have been using Resources Incontinence for my 18 month old Pointer/German Shorthaired Pointer female dog, Strider, for ~3 months now. Strider was spayed early in life and I believe this is why she has an incontinence problem. Since Strider has been on this treatment, she has only had an accident once when she first started treatment, and I think, in part, it was because she was under a lot of stress. (I notice when under stress, she does not have as much control over her bladder). The directions state to give her 2 tablets twice daily for her weight, but I have been giving Strider 1 tablet in the evening and she has been doing very well (no leaks/voiding of bladder). However, she has not been under a lot of stress lately. We'll see at Christmas time when I expect the stress will pick up for her. Before her treatment with Resources, she had been dribbling or voiding her bladder about once per day and many times a lot more than this. I have not seen any side effects so far and it is a good value since I am only giving her 1/4 the recommended dose with good results. If it still works this well after the Christmas stress, I would rate this product with 5 paw prints! ( I actually rate it now with 4.5 paw prints!) Also, Strider did not like the taste of the tablets, but if I lick the tablets (put my saliva/scent on the tablet), she will eat them without problems. She thinks anything that I eat must be good and it entices her to eat it if she thinks I have been eating it. Or, I can place a little grease on her tablet and she will eat it easily.Strider's mom
First, my dog does not take meds well – she finds a way to spit them out and it's always a process to disguise it. She GOBBLES these up…she even chews them! Second, she has been on Proin for over a year for spay incontinence but it has come at a cost…lethargy, weight gain… I can't speak to the weight as it's too soon in her taking this, but in just a few days of switching to this supplement she has not had any accidents and her energy is back! Unfortunately, I had high hopes for the dog rocks but they haven't worked in our case at all. We've been using them for 6 months now (following the directions to the letter) and her pees are still creating horrible brown patches on our beautiful lawn. We put new turf in the backyard after the devastation of the chickens which are now on the farm. Straight away, little round patches of dead grass appeared. I recalled the rocks that solve this issue so bought some. The lawn has now returned to its pristine condition.
