The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! I love the product – your packaging – AGAIN – is HORRIBLE. I ordered two of these and one arrived opened and about ten left in the the bottom of the container. The other container was in tack! So one container completely distroyed. Other items in the box were broken open: The box of Cat Food – 30 box count. Totally broken apart and all the cans were all about the box. And many dented! The shipping box itself had obviously been broken and arrived in super bad condition and a lot extra tape. The box was a mess and was part of the delay in its delivery! I am so thrilled with the results of this product. I contacted the manufacturer, who confirmed that the formula is the same as their cat joint relief product; the dosage and texture is just different between the two. So I buy this for my 2 cats and 1 dog to avoid having to buy two different products that are essentially the same thing. I crumble 1 treat into my senior cats' wet food each day and give 2 daily to my young dog for preventative purposes. Before starting on these, both of my cats had showed some natural decline in mobility, and one of them had torn his ACL tear when attempting a high jump. After just a few days of these treats, both cats showed greater mobility, and the one with the ACL injury was jumping again after a little over a week. After several weeks, he's moving like the young, athletic cat he used to be. Most importantly, nobody seems to be in any discomfort anymore. … I will just say, though, that this new advanced formula with collagen is much stiffer/denser than the regular formula without collagen, so crumbling the treats can be a little bit of a pain. After I gave this HA to him, he could walk as per normal and jump around after two days. Don't know if it was his natural recovery or the effects of the HA. I bought this for my elderly lab about a year ago. I was skeptical at first but I do honestly think it helped some. She was already declining and had joint pain and muscle weakness. But I did notice after a session she would seem to walk slightly better. Maybe it was just wishful thinking but I do think it helped prolong her life and comfort longer than if I'd not tried it. It's pricey but worth the investment to help your fur babies. It also just helped soothe and relax her when she was having anxiety or discomfort.

Our senior dog is almost 10 years old and using this product regularly has improved the stiffness/soreness in her hips. It definitely seems like she's been moving around better and in less pain when jumping up, and she is playing with the puppy a lot more than she used to. Unfortunately she's super picky and we can't get her to eat them on their own, despite the claim of them being tasty chewables. She won't even consider it. My dog ate this willingly only twice. I've even dipped it meat juice & he will not eat it. If I crush it in his food he rejects the whole bowl. He is not picky at all. so these must taste pretty bad. They are very dry. no idea if they work or not, can't see results if he won't eat them. I can assume the ingredients are medicinal. I had a perfectly pleasant experience with this company, but the product itself has only caused my puppy to act out. I'm not sure why, especially after reading so many positive reviews, but these "calming bites" trigger the opposite behavior in my dog. He has far more energy and it's all destructive/aggressive. Every time I've given him a full tablet, he has stayed up later than usual wanted to play (think midnight instead of 9 PM). So these bites aren't for us. These calming pills are great. We use them for our 60# pit bull who is afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms. If it's around a holiday or we see a storm coming in, we give 2 beforehand and it takes the edge off of her fear. She is still scared and will hide and shake a little but it is much less stressful then it would be without the pills. We will follow up with 2 more later that night if the storms go longer or the fireworks might continue. We also use it for some of our foster dogs- over excitement in the car, before a vet visit or any other really stressful event. Takes the edge off so the dog isn't bouncing off the walls or throwing up in the car and helps us and the dog enjoy the experience more. Compared with lots of other brands and this is the best deal around and actually works.
I have a Huskie/German shepherd female dog . About 5 months old, 60 lbs. My fur baby is extremely hyperactive . From the time her feet touch the floor she is a go getter . My dogs are tiny and one has very little teeth (rescue who lost most of them by age 4). They seem to like the taste of the treats, but they are not soft. I half one of them widthwise between the 2. But, I have to cut that in half lengthwise because, otherwise, they can't chew them. The bag has only been open 3 days (and I am careful to fully seal the bag… even push out air before closing) and yet they are drying up. I have given them half a treat each for the last 3 days. I did a lot of research on something natural I could give my dog for his tummy troubles. He was having some digestive issues that I could not manage to resolve even with strict, bland diet. First, to clarify I purchased the pumpkin/ ginger Tummy chews ( not joint support) for my older dog with reflux. I wanted to to taper her down from pepcid and wanted a product that contained some ginger that was not too overpowering so she might accept ( she can be picky). She also has problems chewing. She's 25#, I cut one chew into quarters and give her one with each meal. I have elimated one pepcid dose and so far so good! She's still on a bedtime pepcid along with slippery elm ( her reflux worse at nite,. commonly the case) in time I may try to elim..the pm pepcid, but for now I'm happy she seems to be doing well with minimal reflux..The chews are not real soft but when they are cut they are not difficult for her to chew, they sort of crumble easily and I either toss in her food or offer as a treat.
