For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. Caused minor inflammation and mucus from his eyes after using it, and just to be sure, I stopped for three days in which his eyes cleared up right away. I absolutely LOVE this product and would recommend it to anyone with a senior pup with arthritis. My 10 1/2 APBT is riddled with arthritis from head to toe. He likes to throw himself on the couch, bed or floor and roll around being silly. He started crying in pain when he would do this. I had him at the vet for 3 days in a row running every test you can imagine. He was diagnosed with spondylosis of the spine. I started giving him this and immediately he was much better and has not cried in pain since. I am a veterinarian, and I have tried multiple joint supplements to help my young lab who suffers from elbow dysplasia. My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. I read some other reviews on how people are getting their dog to take the pill and I laughed because it's what I do also! Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. This Isis the best stuff ever. It helped out my German Shepard that was full of skin soars and now is all clear and has healthily skin and a beautiful coat now. She takes these everyday and loves the flavor. I would highly reccomend them for any dog that has allergies. They are a life saver. They work so well. What I can tell you is that my Marley loves these soft chew vitamins, Zesty Paws they appear to provide everything , and they come in great packaging that protects the integrity of each chew. They're packaged extremely well and they don't have a weird distinctive or awkward smell. i don't know what's so special about this stick of snout soother, but IT IS AMAZING! i didn't take a picture of my dog's before nose, but it was nasty – crusty, brown, flakey. Day 1, i put on the snout soother and thought to myself, "oh shoot, i'll just take a before picture tomorrow." Day 2 – same thing – thought to myself, "well i'll get to it tomorrow." Day 3, i put on the snout soother and my dog's nose was 3/4 healed! what the heck! so much for my before/after pic! Today is Day 4 and his nose is 98% back to normal. At 1st I was disappointed in the size but I was happily surprised that a little goes a long way! My pomeranian is on a lot of medication for multiple issues & the side effects make him severely dehydrated…his nose, especially, really worried me!!! It looked so painful and I was surprised it didn't start bleeding. He didn't like it, of course, but we got it on him & there was an immediate change the next day just after the 1st application!!! My senior dog's liver values have been elevated due to medications and age. SAMe and Milk Thistle were recommended and we have been using both by Vita Pet Life. My dog likes the taste and eats them as a treat. He's 95lbs so we do have to give 4 tables/day but this brand is still the most economical for a large dog's dosage and it is clearly written on the bottle in the description pictures. If you have a small breed dog, be careful! These bites are large; my Shih Tzu can't chew them whole; I have to cut them into smaller pieces so she can take them. So, if you have a small puppy, make sure you cut the bites into small pieces and give them to your dog. Overall the results are good, and you should try this product at least once.

My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. My mother has a 12 year old dachshund who has liver cancer and testicular cancer. My Great Pyrenees has been suffering from chronic reoccuring staph infection due to food allergies for almost 2 yrs. Every time he finishes a dose of antibiotics and skin relief meds the rash starts to come back. I read about using turkey tail to help with skin issues, and after he has been on this for a little over a week his entire body is healed. This is an amazing product!
