My pup loves all things Zesty Paws! The green-lipped muscles are a great addition to his Advanced Mobility Bites. The only complaint that I have is the packaging. This is the only complaint I have about any of the many Zesty Paws products I buy. The paper packing isn't ideal for curious pups. The lid comes off easily as it's not secured in place in any way, and the container doesn't conceal the smell of the Bites or the Bites themselves very well. When I buy these Bites I have to transfer them to a different container, usually an empty plastic Zesty Paws container, to keep the curious fur-babies from getting into the Bites or tearing the paper container. The fresh seal is also an issue with the paper containers. About half of the time the seal isn't completely adhered to the container, leaving a small gap. I've only encountered this problem with the paper containers. The Bites are great, I just wish they were in a more secure container like the other Bites.H. Tucker

To be honest this stuff smells awful! 🙂 My dog turned her nose up at them at first but now eats it whenever we give them to her. She loves her salmon treats so I'm thinking that helped her like these. Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. Does anyone know if this product is safe if the dog licks it? Has anyone's pet gotten sick?

Google brought me to the natural dog company because my dogs paws were the stuff off nightmares. Paw pads that look like hair which I learned was hyperkeratosis. Supposedly there is no cure for this. But I thought at the very least this would give him some relief as he must have been in some pain. Well he looks so much better already. The paws got soft enough that I was able to "trim" the filaments off sightly. Yes it was as gross as it sounds lol. He is not fully cured yet but his paws are so much closer to normal already. He is also in less pain as he is more tolerant of me putting the product on. Once he gets a bit more healed I will use the skin soother in-between the toes. The only con is that this stuff goes fast. I am reordering the four ounce tin after a few weeks, if I could buy a giant tin I would. You have a customer for life THANK YOUAlice
I thought this was way too good to be true. My dog- Victoria, a catahoula- has severe allergies and has to be on a special diet, take medications, etc. even then, she has still had really bad allergies and chews her paws and legs. While she absolutely hates this stuff- I don’t know if it is the smell (it smells good, though), but on day 2 I saw a significant change in the redness and itchiness. I was such a huge skeptic because I’ve tried everything and I wasn’t expecting this to work and it has honestly been the only think that is not a medication that has helped. Please get this for your pets. Worst case scenario, it doesn’t help, I’m so glad I took the risk because Victoria’s skin looks so much better. Definitely worth it!!Christy
I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this…within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad…deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also. I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone…so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended. I tried the pawtection and it really helped his paws on the cold pavements but we got to about 3.5 miles in on our run and then he started running on the snow, so it doesn't stay on longer than 4 miles, which is ok cuz u don't wanna be out too long really cold or hot weather anyways.Lindsey H.
