My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. If I did not buy this powder from 1 800 pet meds. I would have to get the liquid form or molasses form. They also work: I like Cranberry Relief, because it works like the others. Cranberry Relief goes farther. I get more for my money. I can not put it in the food or try and disguise it. Pete either smells it in the food or tastes it. He will not eat the food. So, I have to put the powder in gelatin capsules and orally give him one in the morning and one in the evening. Pete just does not drink enough water. I got tired of spending a lot of money on SO 33 cat food. SO 33 makes the cat thirsty so they drink more. It also cost 55 to 65 dollars a bag. It goes up in price ever year. As long as the cranberry relief works. I can skip the expensive prescription foods. IF it stops working. I will have to try something else. Pete has been on the Cranberry Relief 3 months, so far it is working.
I read the reviews on this product here, and thought I'd give it a shot. My kitty has been getting UTI's for the last couple years, but this year she's had 3, which was quite worrying (and expensive). Every time I've taken her to the vet, they have given her antibiotics, and taken a urine sample. Every time the urinalysis came back, it showed she was clear of any harmful bacteria (so the antibiotics weren't helpful). My vet said that for some cats, they are very sensitive to stress and this causes inflammation in the bladder or urinary tract, causing her to have painful/frequent urination and blood in her urine. The last UTI she had went away on it's own. I just stayed with her for every hour besides when I was working to protect her from some bully cats in our neighborhood that might be causing the extra stress. (Also bought her some UT Support treats and Feliway for stress reduction). That worked last time. This time I feared I'd have to take her back because she really looked to be in pain… but I read about this product, (so I bought it from a local pet store, just cause I needed it right away for her) and tried it first before taking her to the vet (which is also quite stressful for her). It worked! Within two days of giving her Cranberry Relief she was urinating much less frequently And now she is actually using her litter box instead of in the bathroom sink, on my laundry or on my bathroom mat. She does not look to be in any pain, and she's purring for no apparent reason (I assume just from not being uncomfortable anymore.) I'm really happy with the results of this product. I did notice that she did not eat the food I put it in, in any larger doses than one scoop, with half a can of wet food, at least not right away. I had to not give her any alternative food and wait, and she eventually ate it. My other cat, who has never had UT problems, munched up the food better than my cat who needed the Cranberry Relief. Try this product. I'm really glad I did, and I will use it for maintenance as well in the future.
i gave this product to my chi-Pom 2ce, both times only giving 1/2 of the soft chew to introduce it slowly. The first time she scarfed it down as if it were a yummy treat but then immediately violently threw it up. I thought maybe it was because she didn't chew it very well. 2nd time, I waited a day and crumbled part of it into her breakfast, shortly after she became sluggish and started throwing up again 4 times total throughout the day. I began to wonder if the product was contaminated but by the evening she seemed fine and ate her dinner with no vomiting or problems, she was back to normal. I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a built-in trailer hitch. I adopted a one rear Labrador at 67 lbs. and she is too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car. I thought this was silly. I was wrong. This step is amazing! It’s easy to assemble and hitched to our jeep perfectly. We have an 85lb bulldogge who cannot be lifted yet he loves going on car rides. We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. Even though the regimen is over, we are still bathing him regularly and applying the Skin Soother. That was over a month ago and he continues to look better than ever! My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. However, currently I greatly regret purchasing two of the tins instead of the smaller sticks. All in all, this product works and I would buy it again! I did not have a new urine spot to test the product on so I can not review from that standpoint. However, I did use the product on an older stain from a pet. The spray is easy to use and and directions are clear. Spray and leave for 10 minutes. You can't see the spray on the carpet but you can feel the wetness. After some time, I used a cloth to blot like the directions stated and was surprised to see some spots of color on the cloth. I was impressed to see that, however, it was not very much. While I feel like the product could work, it seems as if you would need to repeat many times to get a noticeable difference on the carpet. I have tried other products in the past that seem to lift spots a little quicker. For this reason, I would not buy the product or recommend it.Heather

With two dogs, one who still sometimes struggles to control her bladder, we go through a lot of products that are designed to treat urine. This spray removed new urine stains with ease and also worked to help spot treat some older marks/stains on my rugs. The scent is lighter than most 'urine eliminating' products and dissipates quickly. I am giving this product 4 stars because I still needed to use vinegar on some urine spots to fully remove the odor, though that could be because of how the pad underneath the carpeting was saturated. With a small army of animals, keeping things clean and fresh is a constant battle. I am diligent about ensuring that it doesn't smell like an entire zoo lives here but with accidents and stains, it hard to do that. This spray takes care of that, though! Love these kits. I have the small kit that I keep in my truck at all times and then a larger kit that I always have with me when on big hikes as well as in my off-grid camping trailer. With 3 dogs, all of which have health issues (and are magnets for trouble) this is a must. The only thing I wish was different was I wish these bags were insulated and a little bigger to leave space for meds that you may need/want to add for your specific pup. Nice kit to have when I take my dog on hikes with me. But…. discovered that the hydrogen peroxide packet leaked and ruined everything else in the kit. The leak proof bag kept everything inside safe from the elements but not from itself! Will replace some of the contents but not the peroxide. Very disappointing.Paul
I received this product a couple of weeks ago and it has came in handy for our camping gear. I have three adventurous dogs who love the outdoors. I have had to rig up bandages and gear for them but this is so much better. Each product in this kit is well thought out for what you may need for a camping or hiking trip with your dogs. I may not need all of it at once but it gives me peace of mind knowing that it is right there at the ready if I do need it. Each product seems durable which is necessary with these type of items. The bag also comes in handy to store everything and keep it in a safe place that is also easily accessible. It is pretty light and has handles which makes it nice for clipping on to my dogs hiking vest. I am also pleased with the first aid handbook because sometimes I am not sure what to do in certain instances. With a household of both cats and dogs (owning/dogsitting/fostering), you can imagine lots of accidents are bound to happen. Having longhaired cats, hairballs, and one that likes to go outside of the litter box when he's "mad" at me for being gone too long, I need a good enzyme cleaner for all the messes that are made! I moved into a house where 2 dogs tore up the house because of negligent pet owners. one dog was larger and was only let out once or twice a day on his leash to do his business. they gave away the smaller dog eventually because it was hyperactive and kept urinating on the carpet. they abandoned the house and their mess along with it… the slumlord vacuumed but I went over it with the Arm and Hammer animal odor eliminated stuff and my Dyson ball for animals vacuum, then let the house air out for a few hours. it perfumed the smell and still reeked of dogs. then I rented a Rug Doctor from Wal Mart and used the Rug Doctor shampoo for animals… I went over the carpet twice (spraying forward and back) and once again opened the windows and doors for a few hours. keeping in mind my 2 year-old son has had allergic conjunctivitis and a fever from going in and out of this disaster area for 2 days, I am enraged at this point because the overwhelming perfume smell was gone but the dog smell was still obviously there. I went to Petco last night to find ANYTHING with a hefty price tag on it that looked like it would work (without having to rent a carpet cleaner again) and bought this for $15.99 along with a lavender-scented Arm and Hammer odor-eliminating candle (which I haven't tested yet). I went over every inch of that God-forsaken carpet… today, the air in that placed is finally neutralized!!! there is a faint smell of the spray but 1.) We were using another version of natures miracle but the odor was just too strong for me to tolerate. And it would last for days. That wasn’t an issue much in the past as our last chihuahuas were well house trained and only had issues with kidney stones, or aging. But now we adopted a chi mix who has to be tranquilizer to be inside his cage AND at 3 is not house trained AND he’s petrified to go outside. We finding this was a real blessing. IF you follow the directions you will never have a stain. As with all enzymatic type urine removers, the odor is sometimes worse than the urine odor. This does have an odor BUT it’s SO much more tolerable, as I have trouble with odors. Of course because you must get all the way down to the floor, we saturate our carpeting as instructed, and find the odor will linger for 2-4 days. Found this ear rinse for dogs at Walmart by Pet Armor brand. It's priced very reasonably at under five dollars tax an all so it's affordable for most pet parents. We had no choice but to find a safe ear cleaning solution bc our dogs are pitty's with unclipped ears so they're prone to dirt/wounds. This solution seemed to work very well without causing further irritation. After rinsing, wiping out, and cleaning his ears we've noticed a huge decline in his head shaking/scratching so I'd say it's definitely a great pet parent item to have on hand!megan.p
I have a West Highland White Terrier and he has had ear infections practically from day one. Google brought me to the natural dog company because my dogs paws were the stuff off nightmares. Paw pads that look like hair which I learned was hyperkeratosis. Supposedly there is no cure for this. But I thought at the very least this would give him some relief as he must have been in some pain. Well he looks so much better already. The paws got soft enough that I was able to "trim" the filaments off sightly. Yes it was as gross as it sounds lol. He is not fully cured yet but his paws are so much closer to normal already. He is also in less pain as he is more tolerant of me putting the product on. Once he gets a bit more healed I will use the skin soother in-between the toes. The only con is that this stuff goes fast. I thought this was way too good to be true. My dog- Victoria, a catahoula- has severe allergies and has to be on a special diet, take medications, etc. even then, she has still had really bad allergies and chews her paws and legs. While she absolutely hates this stuff- I don’t know if it is the smell (it smells good, though), but on day 2 I saw a significant change in the redness and itchiness. I was such a huge skeptic because I’ve tried everything and I wasn’t expecting this to work and it has honestly been the only think that is not a medication that has helped. I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this…within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad…deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also. I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone…so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended. Monday, my 15-year-old dog went for her normal walk. Later that day she was sleeping on her bed and woke up because she had wet her bed. This went on all day. Kept the washing machine going. It was 111 degrees outside so she could not be outside. Looked online for bladder support and this was suggested. I gave her double the dose smashed up into powder and double the dose a few hours later. Doubled her dose on Tuesday AM. Tuesday she wet the bed even more. I called all the vets locally and found out how much it would cost to euthanize her. Wednesday she did not wet the bed. Thursday we took a walk like nothing had happened. I am dropping her dose down to normal or even half of normal. These are life-changing! Our 14-year old AmBull/Mastiff started having incontinence challenges. I was woken up multiple times a night, usually only for him to wet on the floor on the way to the door. Often he would have an accident standing right next to us (I assume unaware it was going to happen). Literally, since the first dose of this, we have not had an accident. I wish I had found this with our last senior dog. I imagine it is rare for such a quick response, but I would is definitely worth the cost to try this product … especially with this price at Wal-Mart. I started purchasing this product over a year ago. When I brought my 3 1/2 yr old Corgie mix to my home after adoption I found out various things. One was that she had anxiety when left (even for short periods of time) she acted out by tinkling on the floor. After proper training she'd still do this. I looks fir a medical problem verses behavioral . After having her urnine tested they said, "They found struvite crystals." From that time, I began making her food. They still found traces of struvite. After adding these supplements daily to her homemade daily diet I was happy to learn her urine was clear.
