My dachshund lab mix ( weird I know) started having seizures every 4 weeks or so. They got worse as time went on ( he is almost 3), the vet prescribed seizure medication which he'd have to take " for life" but after reading on it I saw very bad things about the dogs quality of life. I give to him in the morning ( 4 drops.. hes 35 pounds) normally between two pieces of cheese because he doesn't like the taste, and 3 drops at night. He has only had 2 seizures since I started this product and his grand mal seizures which lasted over an hour before with violent shakes, defalcating, vomit, and weird body movements, is now just slight panting and last about 1-4 minutes! My girl Patches had a lump on her front leg. It turned out to be a sarcoma. We removed the tumor and discussed radiation therapy. I made the decision to wait and see what would happen.. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. She continued to be a very picky eater – I put eight Live Gold drops on bread, then wrapped the bread in thinly sliced rare beef and was able to get her to take it 2x a day, along with the mushrooms in capsule form. She slowly improved over seven days or so, sleeping a lot, but I was still having to work hard to coax her to eat – roasted chicken with skin and sliced beef were all she would do, but even so, over time she improved by about 80%. She was gaining ground, but we were still struggling with food, so I took her back to the vet today for more sub q fluids. We found that she had gained 5 ounces despite eating issues. Tonight she began to eat her chicken-wrapped supplements more enthusiastically. I'm also finding it harder to locate the lump on her thyroid. When she is ready she will return to her regular diet of freeze-dried raw food combined with home-made organic turkey and veggies – my dogs also get sardines packed in unsalted water, soft-boiled eggs a couple of times a week, and other non-processed treats like raw carrot (read The Forever Dog – it's on Amazon). Gigi seems to feel better every day and is returning to her old self, but I know that each day is a gift and that things could change quickly at her age. For now she's happy and engaged, barking at squirrels, interested in the world, wagging her tail, alert, and loving, and I'm grateful.

I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. Unfortunately, within several weeks, she stopped eating and seemed in pain. One morning before I could take her outside she passed quite a load of bladder stones on the floor. A rush trip to the vet ensued and she was put on meds, including some Chinese herbs. I was told that she would most likely fight bladder issues, throughout her life. I went online and started research the various products offered. Cranberry Bladder Bites had great reviews and an impressive array of herbs. Purchased this when my dog started wetting the bed at night. Noticed she wouldn't wake up to be put out but in the morning her bed would be wet. I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. Then I noticed it would take her several tries when she would go out to empty her bladder so I expected that the inability to empty her bladder was symptomatic of a UTI. When looking for something to help before another trip to the vet I saw that these bladder bites had high ratings and gave them a try and they worked great, all of her issues even the exited leaking stopped. That was right after I adopted her a couple years ago and during our recent move with everything packed and hard to find she wasn't getting these regularly within a couple months she had started the little bit of leaking again when excited. I received these as part of the Viewpoints sampling program. I gave to my dog and she finally ate them after many attempts. I would say compared to others out there that these may not taste as well as others we have tried. I most likely would not purchase these as they didn't seem to agree with my dog very well. I would give them a lukewarm recommendation as they are healthy for dogs but if your dog is a picky eater they may not like the taste. I read tons of reviews on multiple sites and decided to try these on my dogs. These legit work!!! My dogs(we have 5) had a bad can of stress diarrhea for a week from moving to a new home. I have 6 small breed rescued dogs that are all seniors. I've been using this for all, except one dog for many years. One of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach and can't use this supplement (I believe it's a beef and/or liver sensitivity), but the other dogs have no problem at all. They like the taste and most importantly it really helps! All of my dogs being seniors, 9yrs up to 18yrs (yep, 18 yrs old) have joint issues from age and this really seems to help with joint pain and even joint popping/cracking. They seem to be able to play more on this supplement too! If I ever run out, I noticed their joints popping more often and after only a couple days of using this product I notice a big difference. I haven't used this for larger breeds or younger adult dogs, but I imagine it would be great for them too, especially with all the joint issues that come with larger breeds. FYI, ALL the supplement sizes are the same product but with different sized scoops and dosage instructions based on the scoop size. I believe all the jars except the smallest size come with a larger scoop (supposedly 1oz, but seems to be more IMO) and the dosage instructions are based on the included scoop. So, if you're like me and buy a large sized jar for multiple smaller dogs, make sure to check the dosage instructions on the small size jar accurate instructions. Or maybe just contact the company for more accurate dosage instructions. My dog was diagnosed with cancer. It was in his snout and had worked its way to his brain before we knew anything was wrong with him. My 12 yo cat was diagnosed with advanced Lymphoma at the end of June & I was looking for supportive formulas for cats with cancer & found this product. I called & the representative I spoke with was very helpful, so I purchased the mushroom complex & the detox herbal extract since my cat is on steroids. It’s been helping him have a better quality of life & being a finicky eater must of his life I was concerned that he wouldn’t eat his food with the added supplements, but he did & now doesn’t even care!
