I got the dark purple and they are beautiful. I have two Crocker Spaniels. Both girls have a wide chest but a short back so they can be difficult to get things to fit correctly. These work great if you need a little room to play with the size because the top closes with velcro and then a clasp. If you're dog pulls these feel really solid. Overall they are well put together and the colors are eye catching. When I take both girls to the dog park in their matching harnesses I always get asked about where I got them and what colors do they have!!
I have 4 of these harnesses from a few years ago and loved them. I decided to order 2 more… Unfortunately the new ones all gape at the neck terribly! Even pulling it back more so it’s flat on the neck first doesn’t work as it won’t close the Velcro and then the arm holes rub under the armpits. I realized they changed the arm holes slightly (by overlaying it onto my old ones) and it’s thrown off the whole pattern. They are now useless. So Disappointing since all else is perfect- quality, price, patterns. Try the “Wrap & Snap” instead, it fits great and is nice for summer as there’s no extra fabric on the back.Dog Mom

I have a Mini Australian Shepherd puppy, and this harness is so good!! The way the leash attachment “floats” along the dorsal strap makes it work really well no matter where he is in relation to me (front/back/side), and it had really helped him learn not to pull, because unlike a collar it’s not actually unsafe for him to test his limits (so I dont have to try and keep him from doing it, just address when it happens). Good product, comfortable for dog, easy to adjust for size differences, holds up well for changing weather conditions and stress from use. I have purchased three harnesses in the last two years, all for the same dog as he grows. Only problem is where the harness crosses the dog's back and where it adjusts under the belly. When the harness is attached to a leash on the back clip, it slips and shifts until the back clip and leash attachment is hanging on the dog's side. And where the harness has two fixed adjustments near the dog's belly where the harness is held in place by snaps, the snaps aren't strong enough to stay closed when the dog moves, so the straps going through those loops shift and slip until the harness is out of adjustment. Together with the problem of the loose strap on the dog's back, for a large dog like I have, the harness is always twisted or loose unless I make some reinforcing stitches at those two key junctions. The first harness I purchased when the dog was smaller already had those two key junctions stitched and held in place. The next two harnesses needed to be stitched heavily by me in order to stay in place, which was difficult because the material is very tough and thick and isn't easily sewn by hand with a standard needle and thread. I don't know why the company stopped reinforcing those key junctions for the harnesses needed for large, strong dogs. Once the harness junctions are reinforced, the harness is good for a large dog being tethered or walked, and is easily put on and removed even if the dog doesn't hold still. I especially like the fact that the harness can be custom fit around both the neck and the chest, and from neck to back. That allows for long term use while the dog grows.
Purchased and selected size last year based on Kurgo size chart recommendation. Harness was way to large, at the smallest setting on our 56# Aussie. Also hooks/ slides on back of harness twist and turn, don't stay in place.. The adjustment slides don't stay in place in the front and the harness , after one pull is huge again. Quality materials but poor execution of design. Very expensive for what you get. And CS rep hanging up when I called spoke volumes. mes.Janesdog

What a fantastic harness! My 90 pound dood is a consummate outdoorspoodle and now he can pack his own water, snacks, and frisbee thanks to the bungee cord feature. The harness is wonderfully customizable. I have a Huge, deep chested giant pal who is wearing the 2-3X size. The straps are incredibly adjustable at the shoulder, neck, and across the girth to fit a wide variety of pup shapes. The material is extremely durable, seems to resist staining (I give it a quick rinse when my mudpuppy has really had fun), and most important, the harness is lightly padded for comfort. Overall highly satisfied with this harness. I measured my dogs before I ordered and the sizing chart is true to size. Medium for my chiweenie and large for my pug sized mix-breed. The fabric is high quality with bright colors (Dinosaurs and Floral). The mechanics of it are sturdy and secure. There’s even small reflectors on the sides. Like most Bostons, she has a bigger chest measurement compared to the rest of her body measurements. But it was just too big. I have two pugs and their sizing for harnesses can be more difficult due to the way they are built body wise. I have a female about 20-25 lbs and a male 30-34 lbs . The female size I picked was L and works and the male was XL. The harnesses are gorgeous ( I bought 6-3 for each dog) and fit well due to the ability to adjust . They are very well made and better to hand wash and line dry or was on a gentle cycle to prolong their quality and of course style!! These are very unique, trendy, and fashionable . The sea shell one for my female is beautiful…. Saving for warmer weather and the pirate for my male in summer time . I will definitely buy again when needed and give a 10 star review!!!
