The company insert says to keep FROM freezing so I was a little confused and uncertain if I should proceed but she needed her injection. My Sunshine has been suffering for years with itchiness and toes swollening and getting infected to the point of puss coming out. I had been referred to Cosequin's powder made for horses some time back for an old Basset with a bad back and had always given it to all my bigger, older dogs but the big containers are big and expensive (because they're intended for horses) and I'm down to just one dog that needs it so when I ran out I tired a different Glucosamine supplement which was an utter failure for my big, old guy. Within just one month of that supplement he was struggling to get up from the floor and falling UP the stairs… (I know, he should not be on the stairs anymore, but try and tell him that…) I moved to these tablets (which are made by the same company as the horse powder) and he was immediately back to normal! I have looked at many different joint supplements for dogs, and what I have noticed is that most of them are lower mg per tablet/chew than Cosequin. You really get the bang for your buck on this product and it seems to be of high quality – plus it really works! I have a 15 year old blue heeler thats rounded up a lot of cattle in her day. I noticed she wasnt getting around as well in her old age so I started this product. It takes about 4-6 weeks to start working, but when it does watch out! The only down side is that she started chasing moving vehicles again and the irrigation guy ran over her front leg with a dirtbike so I had to get a cast put on. She healed up nicely though and is just fine now, so the story ends well. Bottom line, I definitely know this worked well for her and greatly improved her quality of life in her old age. There chewables are amazing! I have a Golden with bad joints and she's a wee bit on the heavy side LOL. She couldn't walk more than a couple blocks before wanting to lay down or me having to literally tug her along. NOW. Totally different dog. About 10 days or less into taking this and you could see a miracle dog. She looked more like a pup in the park. Don't go with the cheaper knock offs. We inherited my mother-in-law's 16-or-so year old cat. He had a history of throwing up but her vet couldn't find anything wrong. After we'd had him for a while he started throwing up more, stopped eating, and became lethargic. Our vet diagnosed liver failure and was not optimistic, but recommended denosyl, which doesn't require a prescription and is relatively cheap. Ever since the cat's been on denosyl, he's been eating like a horse and is much more lively than his age would suggest. I'd recommend this for anyone whose pet has liver problems. It seems to work best when the cat hasn't eaten for at least 4 hours (preferably more) before we give it, then don't feed him for at least an hour after. Very good. Bought it because my dog fell down a flight of stairs in his excitement and was limping for a few days. After I gave this HA to him, he could walk as per normal and jump around after two days. Don't know if it was his natural recovery or the effects of the HA. I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. I read all of the reviews so I decided to give it a try for my 10 year old Pitt Bull. He wasn’t his spunky self for 2 months. He was slow getting up even for his treats. Bought this yesterday for my 6 year old maltipoo because he has back pain from time to time due to ivdd. Vet wasn’t in and the hospital was booked. Emergency room costs a fortune. So with no prescription, I decided to give this a try. My lil fur baby was in so much pain, he was trembling and wouldn’t eat (understandably so). I gave him a 1/2 one in the car and about an hour later gave him another half cause he still seemed to be in pain…next thing i knew he was eating like crazy lol!!!! My little Papillon, Dixie (1.9 yrs old) has had the typical small dog issues with her stools since she was a pup (who ever decided to breed a small breed dog with long butt hair wasn't really thinking "practical"! I like to compare it to a woman trying to go to the bathroom in a wedding dress!) and about 1 year ago she had a BAD bout of Pancreatitis that landed her in the Emergency Hospital for 6 days (a pretty penny- about $2700.00! Thank goodness for Pet Insurance!). This product has been a life saver for both Dixie and me! Ofcourse no over-the-counter medication is an equal replacement for veterinary care if your dog is ill, but this is a great product for every pet owner to have on hand! It's great for the occasional upset stomach and when your dog gets into the cat food, trash, etc. It's also been great with the history of Pancreatitis, if Dixie gets an upset stomach after my regular vet's office hours, it works almost immediately and it helps prevent the dangerous symptoms associated with moderate to severe diarreaha such as dehydration (it doesn't take many loose bowel movements for an 8lb. dog to get dangerously dehydrated), vomiting blood and bloody diarreaha from an irritated G.I. tract, etc,. This has helped by me time to get through the night without having to take Dixie back to the outrageously expensive Emergency Hospital and calms her symptoms until our regular vet opens. It's worth shelling out the few bucks to have this on hand rather than the costs of an emergency visit! It's some sort of Doggie-Murphy's-Law that your pet only gets sick at 2am… I call it Doggie- Immodium, it really does work great and my vet said it's great to have on hand and perfectly safe to give your pet. It says on the label (or somewhere in the advertisement) that your pet will love the taste and the review from "Snoozer" before mine said their dog liked it, but unfortunately I have them beat with "picky-dog factor" Dixie HATES it! The good thing is that because its a nice thick paste as long as I get it somewhere on her muzzle (she puts up a fight like you wouldn't believe- but that stems from being treated poorly and force-fed as a puppy, it's not the products fault) she does lick it off and gets enough medicine in her system to be effective! So overall, I highly recommend every dog and cat owner to have this in your home, even if your animal doesn't have a history of GI issues! Most people have Immodium or pepto in their medicine cabinets, shouldn't you do the same for your pet? PS- the cats LOVE the taste! They even lick the paper towel I wipe my hand off on after giving it! Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. You can continue every other day for another 2 weeks.Cricketoes

I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I've bought these a few times for my little doggie! He is a 7-year old Chi mix that weighs about 24 pounds. We give him one a day as a treat. I purchased because he has torn his doggie ACL in the past. We did not get the surgery for this, as a small dog it healed on its own, but as the vet said, he will have some arthritis-like mobility issues from that leg moving forward. I can definitely tell these are beneficial for our boy! When he takes these regularly, we can tell an improvement in his mobility. It had proven some, very moderate effect on my doggy's joint issues. I cannot recommend it for that reason, but it doesn't make it a bad product. In fact, he found it tasty enough not to spit, which is impossible with Strand syrup he was prescribed, and it didn't affect his stool–again unlike Strand. What really helped him was a gelatinous-rich diet, if you wonder, but the smell is horrendous and it definitely made him fart like crazy. So, considering this, I think, it doesn't hurt to try these soft chews and see if it does your pet any good before looking for something else. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. I hesitated to buy the hip and joint advanced liquid for cats. I often think homeopathic products are a gimmick. When my 13 year old 20 pound Russian Blue started having trouble walking down stairs and was hesitating before jumping up, I consulted my vet only to be told there wasn't treatment approved for cats joint maintenance yet. I bought a bottle and wasn't sure how I was going to administer it to my cat. She's very feisty and there was no way I'd be able to give it to her in a dropper. I poured it on her food and she ate every last bit of it. I started giving it to her every morning without a problem and before the bottle was gone she was moving like a kitten!  I just received my second bottle. The vet said a shot should be approved sometime this year for cats with joint problems, but I don't intend to put her through the monthly trauma as long as liquid vet keeps working. I couldn't be happier.

I first started using Vectra 3D (the one that goes up to 20lbs) in 2015 or 2016 as it was vet recommended. I used to use Frontline but my dogs would still get ticks w/ Frontline. It got to a point where i had a couple vet visits a month just to remove a tick. My dogs are mostly indoor dogs and i live in the country. My house is clean. My dogs would pick up the ticks from when i’d walk them on the road nearby. Let’s just say i’m experienced w/ tick removal now. My vet recommended it to me and he carried it. When i started using it back then, both my dogs NEVER had a tick again! I even tested to see how good it was, walking them in areas i wouldn’t normally allow them to go into, like high grass. Result – still no ticks. They’ve never had fleas or heart worm – knock on wood. It has been the best and most effective treatment i’ve ever used and i have never used nor wanted to use anything else. I ended up having to switch vets and the vet i’m with now doesn’t offer it. I’m glad to be able to get it off 1800petmeds and at a great price too. The vets aren’t exactly cheap w/ vectra but it’s worth the cost if it keeps the nasty critters off your dog and your pocket book from a vet visit. Applied the application on my dog. Within 20 minutes started acting abnormal. Started running around and jerking his hind legs drinking a lot of water. After 1 and half hours I put him a bath to wash off product. Helplessly watching my poor dog not knowing what else to do. Don’t use product!! Shame on my vet to sale this product. Our German Shepherd absolutely loved this cooling mat! He would lay on it every time he came in from outside. About 6 months ago we purchased this and then a 4 months later, the seam started to rip in one area, causing the mat to leak. I have a 13 year old Giant Schnauzer that can’t get up without help so she can’t cool herself off and can’t rotate to get more comfortable. I have purchased more than 15 of these Cool Bed IIIs over the past 10 years only because K&H Products has a patent on these beds and are not available from anyone else. Everyone I've purchased has leaked at the seams within a year. The 2 year warranty is only good for the original purchase and not for the replacement mattresses. The latest purchase leaked immediately after adding 3 gallons of water to the large Cool Bed III, which is half the recommended amount of water. Contacting K&H to obtain a replacement is quite involved requiring one to destroy the leaking mattress so that it cannot be used and take photos of it to send to the company. We have used the one in the envelope a few times and that led us to purchase the bigger tub size. although we can’t physically see a difference I have no doubt they seem to be working and apparently are tasty. I wanted to get some Turmeric for the mobility of my dog . She is young , but I want to keep her on maintenance . She have patella grade 1 issues . Instead giving her Medicines all the times . I want to Prevent more damage . Like any Turmeric is yellow . I have fresh water w addictive to clean her teeth .Jeannette

My dog that usually eats anything refuses to take these. I chopped them fine and added small water to her food, she finally got hungry enough to eat it. I can't really tell if it is helping.Penny

We are super impressed with Flexpet and I have been telling all my dog owner friends! Our dog is a 14 year old lab border collie mix and has pretty bad arthritis…. he has been on prescription meds (Rimadyl) for a few years… but he recently was seeming more stiff and in pain.. so I thought instead of increasing the prescription dosage… to add in Flexpet as a supplement and he seems to be doing better!
